The café is a bit small when there are tours and customers inside. Would be more comfortable if there was more space.

Very small lake café inside, a few tables, but in the summer after a walk on the terrace you can have a coffee outside..... wonderful...👍

A nice little coffee. Beautiful view of Lake Constance. Delicious coffee, tarte flambée to be recommended. Nice selection of cakes and tarts. Small shop integrated to buy delicious Gottlieber chocolate.

Super nice. Had three hot chocolates. Came with the famous Gottlieber Hüppen. Vast selection of manufacture pieces to buy. Excellent for Christmas give aways. Very friendly staff.

Ideal for a short break and time out to enjoy a coffee or chocolate and taste the fine hops. Friendly service in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. You can also visit the small “factory shop” on site to buy a souvenir to take home.

Super nice coffee right on the Seereihn with very friendly service. Price performance is right, I keep coming back even though it is often completely full. A visit is always worthwhile.

There are nice little things to eat. The local wine is very delicious. I think the Hüppen are particularly delicious and there is a large selection.

Most Beautiful place for a Coffee stop ON MY WAY…RG in Switzerland. The Best treat was the sweetness of the Gottlieber. The shop is small, but you get all your heart desires a sweet treat on your way.

A bit of disappointment. I was expecting a professional coffee machine, not a fully automatic one. The price for coffee isn't low either, so of course I had higher expectations. Unfortunately the cake wasn't special either.

Was here for coffee with a friend. The cafe is on the banks of Lake Constance/Rhei

There is a ice cream waggon in the terrace and everybody needs to go there by themselves. The service on the terrace is somehow slow. They bring the beverage and food (except the ice cream). For payment, you have to go inside to the cashier. The exhibition of the special chocolates they provide, is very small.

We arrived and there was the sign with Waffles and Flammkuchen. Sitting at the table we waited 15 minutes before a waiter arrived. We order the Flammkuchen and after another few minutes of waiting he comes back informing us that they don't make either Waffles or Flammkuchen, but if we want we can have a quiche. However the wait is 30 minutes. Hungry we decide to order a quiche anyway. The waiter leaves and after 15 minutes they bring us the bottled drinks ordered. 40 minutes pass and the quiches arrive. No one asking us if everything was ok etc. In the end we spent 60.- francs for three quiches (nothing special) and three drinks, without counting over 1 hour of waiting. We are aware that sometimes it is not easy to manage customers, but that day it was not super busy. Furthermore, there were 2 behind the bar and 2 on the terrace. However, one of the waiters had to constantly go behind the counter to prepare orders as the girls were super busy chatting with each other. I would say that the name of the company does not reflect the quality of the restaurant at all, not to mention the service. I am willing to pay these prices, but the service needs to improve a lot.

We were able to experience an interesting tour including a tasting through the factory. Afterwards enjoyed a warm summer evening in the Seecafé with food and drink. Gottlieben is definitely worth a trip!

Love the location: hidden in the beautiful village, directly by the river, very much relaxing and holiday feeling. Great coffee and cake. Highly recommend the one with praline cream. Chocolate products directly from the factory. Their specialty "Hüppen" is a must-try. Their lunch options are very limited (which is fine). The Flammkuchen had a good crust, but the seasoning was way too salty. Staff was friendly, English was used.

We stopped there as part of a boat trip on the MS Gunzo to treat ourselves to coffee and cake. Great view of the Rhine and the nature reserve directly at the marina.

Sweet place to read ,eat and think well

Very nice cafe right on the lake with friendly service. Unfortunately in the winter months it is only open until 5 p.m. Gottlieber specialties can be purchased in the associated shop. We'd love to come back.

The café is always worth a visit. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. All I can say about the products is “GENIAL”. Today on January 9th, 2023 we were "only" able to sit in the café, but that didn't detract from anything. In the summer on the terrace it is of course another special experience. Sitting by the water and stopping off after a bike tour is a leisure luxury. Always my pleasure.

A wonderful coffee and the direct view of the Rhine is simply wonderful whether summer or winter. The coffee is very enjoyable and very fine croissants with it. And then doing a little shopping at Hüppen is perfect.

Nice atmosphere, nice staff, delicious coffee and cakes. The Seecafe is located directly on the lakeshore. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Smaller snacks are also available. Hüppen and souvenirs can also be purchased directly on site.

A must for my husband and I when we are at Lake Constance - a visit to the Seecafé Gottlieben followed by purchasing the famous Gottlieber Hüppen directly in the café. You sit right by the lake and let your mind wander.

Friendly service and a nice selection of sweet and savory dishes for in between meals. Fine teas and other hot drinks. Insider tip: Homemade hot chocolate "s Chännli uf em Brättli". Of course you can still stock up on specialties to take home. The café is very nicely decorated.

Enchanting café right on the Untersee in a picturesque location. The coffee variations and the food selection are great and match the location. The furnishings, ambience and the small shop invite you to linger and enjoy. The Hüppen variations in particular are a treat for the palate :) The service is very courteous and helpful. I would love to come back and can only recommend the café. You're great, keep it up!

A nice place to relax, with outdoor seating and a clear view of the Untersee with its many small boats and ships. Culinary delights with coffee and of course the fine Gottlieber Hüppen from the neighboring factory invite you to linger and relax. We regularly go to the local Seecafe with our dog. See you soon. Hello, unfortunately our dog is no more. However, we are regular guests and would highly recommend the Flammkuchen, with a glass of wine or beer.

The concrete building is very modern and I don't like it, it's not worth taking a photo, but the town of Gottlieben is always worth a trip. The coffee and the Hüppenshop, including Hüppen, are excellent.

Nice café with specialties not cheap but good

Great view of the water. Ice cream parlor was very tasty. But with hot coffee. This meant that the ice cream and cream melted quite quickly. I prefer my ice cream parlor with cold coffee. But taste is debatable.
