Yesterday, five of us spontaneously went to the Gottstatterhaus at lunchtime without a reservation - we received a very friendly welcome and were given a nice table. The perch fillet “Mariage” was excellent and the service was top-notch! Price / performance perfect - I would love to come back next time ❤️

A very nice restaurant on Lake Biel is the Gottstatterhaus. A very nice terrace with a view of Lake Biel. A menu with a variety of perch dishes, of course predominantly containing fish, will make every fish lover's heart beat faster. Very clean restaurant, friendly and prompt staff. Just lovely

The fish served on the French fries took some getting used to... but the mirabelle plum sorbet, advertised on a fancy slate board and served in a silver bowl, was simply a scoop of ice cream without any decoration and without any taste, a shame... H.P.Grob

We had pike and whitefish. Both were good. The boiled potatoes had been in the bain-marie for a long time. The mixed salad was boring. The service specialist was courteous and competent.

We came after the main meal time. The sandwich was very tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. Beautiful view of Lake Biel. Gladly again.

Since it's "open all day" we ate at 5:15 p.m. But there was only a small menu: Baked Biel hake: Small roast with tartar sauce and 4 overly soft, boiled potatoes.. Here we eat pike differently and, above all, in a way that is recognizable. Solid restaurant, attractively furnished, wonderful view of the lake.

We (parents with child) went to the restaurant for lunch on Sunday. The reservation was received very friendly over the phone. The location by the lake is beautiful. We were warmly greeted in the restaurant and escorted to the table. We chose the fresh fish. Absolutely wonderful! The portion was great and more than enough. The service was very nice and always refilled the wine. So a very fine meal and good service for an absolutely fair price. We will definitely come back.

The restaurant for good fish dishes, which also come from the region. In summer you can linger on the terrace and enjoy the fine sorbets.😃

We ate the marriage of perch fillets from Lake Bienne there, a treat. This place is to be recommended.

Lake Biel restaurant with tradition and creativity, plus a beautiful ambience on the terrace and garden with a view of the lake. Seaside approach. We three ladies were thrilled by the exquisite appetizer and dessert! Unfortunately they were on the weekly selection menu and not permanently on the menu card - I would definitely be a permanent guest ;-)

Reserved a table in the garden (directly by the lake) and accepted a 1 hour journey. Arrival 8:40 p.m. (unfortunately 10 minutes late). First words of welcome from the boss: “You can’t sit in the garden anymore, the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. and we have to call it a day”! And on almost the longest day of the year!? - you feel like an annoying fly :-( I have known and visited the Gottstatterhaus since 1987. This was definitely the last time!!! There are still many young, friendly and committed restaurants that deserve to be discovered.

We were invited for a birthday by a colleague yesterday...great evening atmosphere by the lake. Unfortunately the fish (fried) was anything but good. The cook shouldn't let the fish swim in the oil twice. Out of consideration for the birthday child, my wife and I didn't say anything to the staff. Grade for fish minus 1. The rest was good. a shame for the good reputation of the gottstatterhaus

Ordered, eaten and left in 35 minutes... We were told by phone that we would be 20 minutes later. We were greeted personally by the boss with the sentence: the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. (it was 8:40 p.m.) and we can't go to the designated table in the garden at lake level, but should go to the terrace (what does that have to do with the kitchen? ). You just have to stop and finish work sometimes. We have been coming here in the summer for years. Well there are other beautiful places in the area. The food, by the way: I have no idea. The enjoyment and joy of eating in a beautiful atmosphere is different... and because we were so late, the tablecloth wasn't changed either

Wonderful garden right on the lake, friendly service and good food. Everything was right and we felt very comfortable.

Food delicious and homemade. Also the mixed salads. The fish burger with homemade buns is also wonderful. The point is deducted for the urgent need for investment. And down in the garden by the lake, the side of the house (next to the lawn) could use at least a bit of tidying up.

The kitchen and service were very well coordinated. We received our drinks without delay when the house was absolutely full, and the starter as well as the main course and also the various desserts all arrived as if everything were a matter of course. SUPER, COMPLIMENT and of course everything was very tasty and seasoned to the right taste, the Schaffiser white wine was also wonderful, so all in all a very successful visit to the Gottstatterhaus in Biel. Thanks to the whole team. See you soon back in your house.

Visiting since childhood. The selection is great and the food is prepared very lovingly and very tasty. The view of Lake Biel leaves nothing to be desired. Even special requests are fulfilled without question. It's nice how it has lasted over the generations. This shows that it is a really good restaurant.

An upscale restaurant - here the emphasis is on friendly service from the region who is always available for a little chat and decently set tables. The food was sensationally good for all three of us, we will definitely be back soon.
