Grischuna in Arosa

We were there for the first time in March. Advance reservation is a must. The restaurant was full. It was also clear that we would only have the table from 6-8:30 p.m. The service was very courteous and very relaxed despite the rather cramped conditions and a full house. The fact that we had to wait a little longer was probably due to the busyness. The food was really of very good quality and the quantity was also great. We were completely satisfied. Unfortunately, it was a bit stressful in the end because they wanted to get rid of us. However, we couldn't do anything about that because everything took a little longer on the part of the restaurant, including paying. We were outside at 8:30 p.m. sharp!

Always my pleasure! Best spaghetti carbonara... Wild also always recommended and the apple strudel is a dream!

Cozy guest room. We had the beef steak and the venison slices with spaetzli. It was a great end to our visit to Arosa. Will definitely eat here again.

An excellent Swiss restaurant in the heart of Arosa with very local dishes and very good value for money and really extremely good wines and also very good service!

Lunch at the restaurant was delicious. We ordered potato rosti, carbonara and mushroom risotto. Everything was tasty and the portions were well served. I recommend!

Home-style cuisine in the heart of Arosa

Saturday 4:00 p.m. The four of us wanted to have coffee, but all the tables were already set for dinner. People sat tightly packed at the bar and at the only uncovered table. When we asked if we could have a coffee at one of the tables, we were very rudely sent away. The annoyed lady obviously found it too much effort to clear a table for a coffee. Absolutely wrong!

Very courteous service Rustic atmosphere Salmon & steak were really very tasty, even the capuns, which unfortunately came with mushroom sauce, were not declared. The Kaffiglace still rounded off the culinary delight. Reservation recommended!

An excellent address that serves good, typically Swiss dishes. Very friendly setting. Small downside on the price of bottles of wine which are expensive for a restaurant of this range.

Fresh salads. Crunchy vegetables. Tender, perfect game, beef and veal. Nice presentation, also because side dishes are served in separate bowls. Very attentive and competent service! My favorite in Arosa.

We were able to enjoy a wonderful lunch (veal liver with rösti). The service was first class and the ambience (outside table) was great.

Very great restaurant with a great selection. A feast for the palate with very friendly service. And for the more special dessert there is even a snuffing machine available.

We really wanted to eat capuns and were once again almost late due to a traffic jam. But the chef was so nice and prepared the capuns for us. And they were very, very tasty. The apple strudel with vanilla sauce is just as delicious. This visit was really worth it.

Old, rustic, cozy restaurant. Small and not so much space at the table. We were served friendly. The food was very, very tasty. We came out of the restaurant full of people.

The food was excellent, there is a huge selection of regional and home-style dishes and they are beautifully prepared. There is also game all year round🥰. With its rustic and homely furnishings and central location, the culinary pleasure is rounded off by very friendly and competent staff. It is highly recommended.

Ended up here on a trip through Arosa. Was a great meal. We had a lunch menu with Flädlesuppe (pancakes), salad and a schnitzel with mushroom sauce and great spaetzle. This is probably the best price in Arosa or even in the region. Nice service. 100% recommendation.

For dinner. Great deer terrine as an appetizer! Saddle of venison perfectly cooked. Side dishes could have been prepared a little more lovingly. Still 5 stars because the service and ambience are excellent. Gladly again!

Amazing restaurant, we really enjoyed our stay there and loved every dish we ordered. They are especially passionate about the game on their menu which they apparently catch and even smoke themselves. However, the restaurant also offers a selection of local specialties whereof we tried the Capuns and which was absolutely delightful as well. In short, we‘re very glad to have found the place and we‘ll certainly be back soon!

We were at Grischuna this weekend and can highly recommend the restaurant and hotel!!! We were completely satisfied, fantastic breakfast, very friendly staff, beautiful, clean rooms, Fantastic value for money!!! Excellent location, close to the slopes, bus stop opposite, parking garage within 1 minute walk... Grischuna is also TOP in terms of cuisine!!! We were able to thoroughly enjoy the fantastic, varied breakfast and end the evening with very, very tasty food, with a varied selection on the menu!!! Any time!!!! Thank you very much for the great time we were able to spend with you!!!

The whole stay in the restaurant was great. You definitely have to reserve in advance so that you are sure to have a place. It's just very popular. And rightly so. The Pinot Noir was really super pleasant to drink. Light and fruity. I had the homemade riccota - spinach ravioli with sage butter, it was very delicious, and my sister tried the capuns, which were also amazing. And I can also highly recommend the spinach pizokel with Alpine cheese. For dessert I had the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Hmmm... Leker. I will definitely go there again. Simply great.

Went to Grischuna for dinner with my husband for the first time. The desired 2-seater table was chosen to be very homely. The waitress was attentive, accepted every request and passed it on. The food came very quickly, prepared as requested and was simply amazing!! We will be back!

The vegetable plate at Restaurant Grischuna is fantastic - excellent. It is written 8 different vegetables - there were even more and all very fresh - highly recommended.

Not suitable for vegetarians!! We were really looking forward to a delicious dinner at Grischuna. Unfortunately we are more than disappointed with the service and the food. We are both vegetarians and were very surprised when we saw fish dishes on the “vegi menu”. When I decided on a simple mixed salad, I was shocked when I found strips of bacon in it. Because there was nothing about it on the map. When I asked, I was answered snidely with “Yes, the Kabis salad has bacon in it.” The waitress showed no interest in addressing my concerns. So for all vegetarians: Hands off!!!

The food was very tasty and there was a large selection. We just waited a little long, that's why only 4 stars, but I think it could be better. The ambience was nice. The staff was nice, but wasn't at the table that often. 4 stars because of the slightly longer waiting time, but it could also have been due to the other guests on a full day. It is still recommended.

Unfortunately had a very bad experience at Grischuna. We had our hotel receptionist book us a table a day in advance, which was confirmed. When we got there we were told that we had no booking, and the staff rudely ignored us and spoke to the next group of people behind us. Back at the hotel the receptionist confirmed to us they had booked and called the restaurant to clarify things. The restaurant staff was rude to the receptionist and claimed there was no booking. As a minimum the staff should have been courteous and explained what was going on.

Be sure to reserve early, they are very fully booked! Great restaurant with great Graubünden cuisine. Highly recommended. Not exactly cheap, but after all we wanted to eat well!

Arosa and its surroundings: simply wonderful. Except that the Weisshornbahn is at the station due to... A technical defect only made it to the middle station, which spoiled an otherwise excellent winter day. Here’s to a new summer hiking experience!

This restaurant was recommended to us by locals (always good!)! Had excellent food and drink at reasonable prices. Special Röstis and cheese slices! In a pub where you feel comfortable. I'd love to come again!

The food is excellent. Schnitzel and cordon bleu were very tasty, the starter tasted perfectly and the dessert was heavenly. The prices are more than fair and prices for wine and water are almost cheap. We will definitely eat there again on our next visit to Arosa.
