Very tasty meal! The specialty, chicken! The lamb was also very tender! Beautiful and cozy, in a cave!

We dropped in and were lucky that they had a free table for us. We were recommended the house speciality, the chicken with risotto. And this one was amazingly good! Very nice staff and cozy room. Recommended!

Simply great! Idyllically located, right in the town center. Restaurant in a historic and typical Ticino stone vault. 1A cuisine, warm atmosphere, very reasonable prices. Plus great wines. What more do you need? After a first visit we came back straight away, certainly not for the last time.

Delicious food, great ambience and very attentive service. Celebrated a birthday with friends in this authentic grotto. There was even a happy birthday garland behind the table. There were various delicious aperitif drinks and delicious food! Lots of vegetarian options.

A beautiful grotto in the hidden side streets of Brione, a very lovingly decorated restaurant, very friendly service and excellent cuisine. The fish dish from Thursday (tuna tanche on ratatouille) and the pork fillet with mushroom cream sauce were very tasty and prepared with love. We can only warmly recommend this grotto.

We've been there a few times and are always thrilled. Very professionally run restaurant and yet you can still feel a good team spirit. This affects the guests. Nice hosts, great service, great atmosphere, dignified ambience, beautiful location and a clear and tasty menu. We have brought friends or family with us a few times and everyone has always been thrilled. It's just the whole package that's true and we always feel very comfortable. Our No. 1 in the region ☺️

The Al Capon is a beautiful grotto with very friendly and attentive staff. Despite celiac disease, I was able to enjoy extremely good food. Everyone knows a lot about celiac disease. Almost the entire menu is available gluten-free. I would love to come back!

Fantastic food, friendly, courteous service.

Just genius. Almost everything on the menu can be prepared gluten-free or is already gluten-free. The owner is very knowledgeable about celiac disease. There was even gluten-free tiramisu. The taste was perfect and the portions were also very good. Ambience also great in an old stone house. I recommend it 100%. The service was also world class - thanks for this successful evening.

The service staff is very courteous but not intrusive at all. The food is very good, there are decent portions, the price is fair and the wine list has a good selection. The menu is manageable but offers enough alternatives and no things are offered that do not belong in a Ticino grotto. Reservations are therefore usually required. Hopefully again soon!

Were there on Friday evening. Best to reserve. Everyone was very friendly and uncomplicated. The food was fantastic. Gnocchi was one of the best and super light, ravioli was also super tasty and the sea bass with great ratatouille. Definitely again!

Do you want to enjoy Ticino cuisine and wine? Do you want this in a typical Ticino ambience, a classic grotto? And this is garnished by the warm hostess Prisca and her team, who literally read your wishes from your lips (in Italian, English and German)! Then the Grotto al Capon is an absolute must! I have been enjoying the hospitality, cuisine, ambience and atmosphere for more than 5 years. And every visit is a highlight.

Had a delicious dinner here with a big group of friends. The staff is very friendly. The interior of the restaurant is also very cool, would definitely come back here!

The welcome was excellent despite our arrival in the middle of a storm. Everything is organized quickly. The baked cockerel and rabbit stew were succulent. Picturesque, typical and charming place. Convenient covered parking nearby.

The Grotti is a real Ticino house and we liked it. The rest was very well attended, but only German-Swiss people. The food was of course primarily German-Swiss food but well cooked. We are looking for authentic grottis and cuisine - we were disappointed.

We were in this wonderful grotto yesterday. I recommend a visit, I had the best gnocci in the world, you can tell the chef cooks with absolute dedication and love. The service was not only polite and friendly, but loving and attentive. We soon fell in love and will definitely come back. We thank you for the magical evening.

It's a great atmosphere with super nice staff and a very friendly boss. The food is excellent from starters to dessert with excellent wine. Most of the menu is gluten-free and it tastes wonderful. We can recommend it 109%.

The Al Capon in Brione is worth a visit every time you stay in Ticino. The food is always wonderful and Priska Schönenberger and her team fulfill all of the guests' wishes in a charming and extremely hospitable way.

I come from Germany and believe me I was super impressed. Yes, I can say I was in love from the first second👍. The restaurant, the food and the warm, family-like welcome from the owner are worth my 5 stars. Sorry that I have to say this, but something like that is missing here in Germany. It's a shame that I need almost 8 hours of travel time to be able to enjoy this again. But I can already say that it doesn't just stop at one visit!!!!!

A beautifully decorated grotto. Very attentive, friendly and humorous service. Sensationally good, authentic food without long waiting times. Our children were also very welcome. We'll definitely be back!

We were in Minusio 1 week before Easter. We became aware of this grotto by chance. Everything was already reserved for dinner. But we were offered that a table would be free until 2000. Very hospitable. Excellent food. The saffron risotto was a dream. The interior design was very well chosen. The service was extremely attentive. We didn't miss anything. Danger of addiction.

What a bad welcome and not traditional! We wanted to eat, barely a good evening before we were told that they were no longer taking tables (at 7:45 p.m.), we then asked (We proposed a solution ourselves ) if we could have an aperitif while waiting for a table to become available, we mumbled an unconvincing yes and the person left... Another arrives, looks at us, up and down like dirty people, we greet her straight away. even and she doesn't answer us! It made our blood run cold, we left. We are from Ticino and this welcome is not worthy of a Grotto! According to their response to this comment, they still have not understood that the problem comes from the cold welcome and not from the fact that there was no table available (which once again proves the casualness facing customers. They don't need it so why be nice to those who won't eat?)…
