Words are inadequate to describe the experience in this restaurant. High-quality menu and dishes with a present and professional owner and his staff. No “Italian” restaurant abroad can match this, offering dishes that the non-Italian target group wants and knows. Class, keep it up Marco and Marco. Greetings, from the other Marko and Sanja.

We hadn't made a reservation and were just passing through. We got a seat straight away even though the place was full. We were able to order straight away and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I took the Gorgonzola pizza and it was very, very good. I will go to this restaurant again.

A very pretty setting, seen over the vineyards and the mountain from the tables on the terrace. The products are of good quality and the menu seems to change regularly. I highly recommend this restaurant

Wonderful grotto with a sizable, tasty offering. I was amazed when I received chestnut gnocchi in a cut-open glass bottle. Top grotto, top wines. Be sure to reserve!

The food was delicious, unfortunately the location is a bit awkward given that the two rooms are separate and the entrance door was constantly opened so that the waiter had to bring the dishes.

Food is really good. BUT these guys are not transparent in pricing. PRICES ARE NOT THE SAME IF THEY RECOGNIZE YOU AS TOURIST. They will always suggest things that are not in the Menu or even act that some of the stuff in Menu is ‘sold-out’ and then suggest smth else our of Menu and give it an “ASTRONOMIC” price. I am so disappointed that after such a good food you get ripped off. The waiter just wrote stuff by hand in a “paper-bill” and that’s it. You don’t get a printed official invoice. I think people deserve to know the price of a pasta plate with few truffle on it, if you charge it CHF 42 (that’s not a main dish). Unfortunately I would never go there. I feel stolen!

I frequent Lugano for work and have tried various grottos. This is among the most elegant and refined. Intimate and welcoming. Excellent dishes, pleasant service. The only flaw is the bill: $$$$$

Very good rib eye steak, lemon risotto with scallops is "awesome", but the ravioli with goat's cream cheese and nettles weren't really "my thing", the potatoes in the sauce didn't suit me. Rather small grotto, but cozy. Service very professional and nice.

We couldn't see the menu cards and when we asked for the bill, we realized the price and were really surprised... The dishes and the service were good but we left really disappointed by the way they hid the price from us...

Very nice atmosphere in a typical Ticino grotto. The service was very friendly and the wine recommendations were extremely appropriate. The food was very harmonious and the price-performance ratio was more than fair. We can highly recommend it.

Beautiful place sitting outside on a sunny day, we had a wonderful lunch there with delicious food and good service. One of the specialty there is the 🥩 entrecôte, truly tasty 😋.

The welcome is warm, the dishes are original and excellent. Rather gastronomic grotto, the prices are perhaps less affordable than in other Grottos in the region but I recommend it, it's worth the trip.

Excellent cuisine and friendly, patient and very nice waiters. The same goes for the cook, the chef and the manager. Everyone is very welcoming! Dessert with salted caramel a pure delight. Everything we ate was delicious and the wine too. We will be back for sure!

Great discovery, magnificent terrace, pleasant service. Chic style but we felt comfortable and welcomed there with our 2 children aged 3 years and 18 months. Beautiful menu, delicious dish.

Good restaurant and the dishes are very good. The staff is friendly but really overwhelmed and very slow. Lots of waiting and many omissions. Forgot our entrance, 1 hour wait. Forgot the bill, ask twice.

Hat von A -Z einfach alles geklappt. Angefangen mit der Reservation bis zum Dessert. Sehr freundliche und kompetente Bedienung. Essen war TOP. Waren 7 Erwachsene und ein Kind. Haben sofort gefragt, ob sie dem Kind Pasta bringen sollen. Ganzes Essen wurde sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Macht weiter so. Wir kommen wieder. Vielen Dank für den sehr schönen Abend. Absolutely perfect place for a typical Ticino evening. The staff was super-friendly and made us a great recommendation for the dinner, which included 3 courses incl. starter, pasta & meat. The truffle pasta was insane! The location is tiny but really authentic and they also have a great selection of (partly) own wines. 10/10 would recommend.

Super présentation des plats...très bon...très bon service ... par contre ,petite quantités et prix plutôt élevés. Ne vous attendez pas a trouver du rôti et de la polenta, c'est plutôt un Grotto gastro. Mais allez y les yeux fermés c'est vraiment très bon.
