I have celiac disease and they were really attentive to my menu. Very good food and super friendly and attentive, thanks for lunch today!

Inside it is a simple grotto, the real gem is the wonderful terrace overlooking the lake which is certainly worth taking advantage of in the summer. I went to try their roe deer saddle and found it perfect! Excellently cooked meat, original and well-made side dishes, good sauce. Generous portion. Absolutely worth trying! Highly recommended!

Was formerly the Ristorante “Taverna dei Pescatori” and is still shown that way on Google Maps. Unfortunately the service was very inattentive. We had to wait 40 minutes to take our order even though the restaurant was only half full. The service also had to be requested several times to pay. The portions were very modest and not filling. The food itself was good and the location right on the lake is nice. We won't go back because the price-performance ratio is not good (poor service, long waiting times, relatively expensive for the size of the portions). Unfortunately there is no comparison to the previous restaurant.

Stunning location, very nice and friendly staff. After the excellent cold cuts, I had a very delicate and good venison tartare.

Herbstkarte. Wer weder Pilz noch Wild ist, hat keine Auswahl. Penne arrabiata grosse Portion bestellt. Es war alles aber nicht arrabiata. Portion viel zu small. Keine Empfehlung. Autumn card. If you are neither mushroom nor wild, you have no choice. I ordered a large portion of penne arrabiata. She was anything but angry. Portion too small. No recommendations.

Very good grotto in nice ambiance

We visited the grotto on our vacation. After making an early reservation by phone, we were promised a table on the lake side. We got a table right on the street. The service staff was very hectic and perhaps that's why they were so unfriendly. The food was fine, just not that warm.

Enchanting place, on the lake shore, a splendid terrace where you can stop for an aperitif, lunch or dinner. The location is well looked after and the à la carte proposal is excellent! Try the gnocchi and the selection of cheeses, you won't be disappointed! 😉

For years we were regular guests at Erika's Ristorante Taverna dei Pescatori and were therefore sad when we found out that the Pescatori was becoming the Grotto Crivelli with new hosts. We were there twice last year and unfortunately found both times that neither the menu, the food nor the service were satisfactory. On the contrary, everything was a big disappointment. Despite everything, this year we decided to give the Crivelli one last chance. And we were not disappointed. It seems like the kitchen crew and staff have changed. The map is also new. The salad was fresh, the saltimbocca with risotto, the perch fillets with risotto and the penne all'arabbiata were really good. The only downside was the gravy with the Saltimbocca. This tasted like ready-made gravy. The panna cotta was also excellent. The menu card shows a nice selection, including the wine list. The service was very, very friendly. So it worked for us. If things continue like this, we will stop by Crivelli regularly.

Price performance is not right at all, very well cooked but portions far too small. Unfortunately, the change in operator was noticeable, the staff was very unstructured and sometimes unfriendly. No recommendation

Food delicious, Service catastrophic

One extra star for the view. Bruscetta wasn't feeling fresh, it was like bought from nearest supermarket, as well as salmon tartar. So asking so much money for supermarket quality isn't nice, at all. Only the location is nice here, so I wouldn't recommend.

The view is amazing which earned one star. The food is overpriced, not fresh and not tasty at all. The best you can do drink something and enjoy the view, better not order food.

Stopped here on the way back from Monte Caslano. The welcome was very warm and accommodating! We shared three different dishes and everything was excellent. The location right on the lake is of course super beautiful! We recommend!

Beautiful restaurant directly on Lake Lugano, splendid view, renovated outdoor furniture. Excellent a' la carte choice with quality local food. Dishes prepared and well presented. We were very satisfied.

Beautiful location. We had lunch on the terrace. Very friendly staff and carefully prepared food with attention to local products. We enjoyed an excellent goat and a tasty tartare. Good options also for vegetarians. Overall, everyone was satisfied.

Were there over the weekend on April 1st - April 2nd. in Ticino because of the nice weather that was predicted. We were also able to enjoy the sun in the garden restaurant. It was wonderful right on the lake. The dogs were also immediately served water. 👍 Very friendly service. Ice cream, which my husband had, was also delicious. Come back!😀

Beautiful, typical Ticino grotto located directly on Lake Lugano. We enjoyed a fine aperitif in the morning and a fine meal in the evening in a cozy and romantic atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive service. We'll be back, highly recommended. 👍👍👍

Fantastic location, directly on the lake with the possibility of docking. Very friendly staff, lots of choice.. I enjoyed enjoying an excellent vitello tonnato and a grape sorbet, given the still hot day. I will definitely return even in the cold season to taste the traditional Ticino dishes.

Fascinating place, directly on the lake surrounded by a beautiful garden. Very friendly, prepared and organized staff. Excellent food prepared with care and professionalism. It was the first time but we will definitely be back.

The Grotto Crivelli (votmal Pescatore) started with initial difficulties in the spring, but we came back because the place on the lake and in the evening sun (as well as in the shade at midday) is simply perfect and incomparably beautiful. Since summer the food has been very tasty again and the presentation of the dishes is really beautiful. You will mainly find meat and fish on the menu. The desserts are also highly recommended!

Very nicely located on the water. The service is very friendly and helpful. We still have to find something and agree better 😉. But that's understandable, since you just took over the grotto. Every beginning is difficult. The food and selection was good and reasonably priced. We will definitely come back.
