Definitely our favorite place for the most delicious ossobucco & grilled pork ribs we’ve ever had. We’ve returned here a lot of times, more than in any place so far, actually. 20mins drive from Lugano, close to Arosio, in Alto Malcantone. Beautiful outside terrace with stone tables & benches, in the woods, at the end of the road and at the beginning of the walking and biking trails. Great place to have lunch and then start off in the fresh air, exploring nature, which is fantastic all around the grotto, no matter the season. Welcoming owners and staff too.

La stradina d'accesso é in sistemazione e bisogna fare dello sterrato per raggiungere quello che poi risulta un piccolo paradiso. Mia moglie ed io abbiamo optato per una deliziosa Fondue Chinoise tris con carni di cervo, manzo e cavallo di ottima qualità. Contorni deliziosi con patatine novelle al forno e riso pilar. Le salsine erano 4, salsa rosa, tartara, all'aglio e curry... deliziose! Una bella bottiglia di Merlot Runchet ci ha accompagnato nella cena servita impeccabilmente da un attento esercente gentilissimo. Sicuramente un locale da consigliare in inverno dove si mangia in un giardino d'inverno riscaldato e sicuramente d'estate per lo spazio adiacente.
