We eat very well there, and in summer on a large, super shaded terrace, grill, pasta, cheeses, cold meats, etc. Pleasant staff. Park available.

We ate here on Saturday evening. When I made my reservation over the phone, I received very friendly service. The grotto was very busy and we were served quickly. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food came very quickly and was molto, molto buono! We can really miss the grotto and it won't be the last time we'll be here.

Dinner with friends, the place is very nice. Even more so in summer as they have lots of tables outside under the trees. The staff is very friendly. We took the tacks with chips, very good. The cost is normal, the quantity was large.

I have never tasted better Ticinese grotto food. The risottos are excellent but also the meat. Warm environment and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Unfortunately the portions for the lunch break are small, let's say that for those who only take a second course, it is discreetly taken out. Then the menu always remains the same: for three months, that I notice, the daily menu has remained the same, that is, I came here three Wednesdays in a row and on three Wednesdays the menu was Roman saltimbocca with risotto. The place is very rustic inside, the service is excellent and the coffee is good. The prices are not exaggerated for the paper they present.

Dinner for 8 people, perfect welcome, excellent food, apart from the cold cuts, 34 fr for a platter with a charcuterie board, we asked for more red onions and we were charged a supplement of 2 fr on the bill, a half panasche 7.50 , all in all the dinner was good, at the end of the evening a large smoke from the grill invaded the whole restaurant!!!

Typical Ticinese trattoria, very welcoming and well heated. Food cooked to the top with abundant and tasty portions. I noticed the kindness of the Lord who certainly served us professionally and with great sympathy. If you're in the area, give it a try!

By chance we ended up in this grotto while passing through and had a very good meal. Venison medallion and venison pepper with a mixed starter. The service and the food were very good, so we would eat here again anytime we are in the area. Thank you for the hospitality!

Nothing to say about the quality of the raw materials but paying 17 fr for a platter of mixed cold cuts with 4/5 slices of cold cuts, paying 15 fr for a platter of must cheeses with 4/5 pieces of cheese seems like an exaggeration to me. But the worst thing was leaving 500 fr on the account and jokingly asking what the cafferino digestive house offers, and hearing the answer no no I'm sorry we don't offer anything if we had to do it with everyone we would go bankrupt and I understood but I didn't tell you paid 100 fr I left you 500 bhaaa I have no words I advise against it

Nice place. It is always very pleasant to dine outdoors under the trees. The food is good, the grill offers excellent choices of meat. The service was good despite the amount of people present. Tables near the grill run the risk of being a little smoky. Overall my opinion is clearly positive. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a quiet evening surrounded by greenery.

With a dog you get a spot at the entrance next to the boccia court and children's playground (despite a reservation!). Asked for another place, unfortunately without success. Food was mediocre and correspondingly too expensive. Service quick and friendly. For me, this is the worst grotto I have encountered so far.

Poor service but I can understand that due to lack of staff. Grotto butts eaten in 2020 and tried again this evening, but unfortunately it looked more like a vomit mixture than anything else. Disappointed by the response of the owner who simply replied to return to his beloved Grotto and that he would propose the same dish again without charging him. Of course, so he still cashes in on drinking. Sorry.

We‘ve ordered a grilled meat plate with fries and vegetables. The meat was ok, the vegetables and the fries were absolutely boring. The worst part: We‘ve got played badly about the price: Next to the „grigliata mista“ was written „for 2 people“ and we thought the price was accordingly for two people. However we missed that next to the price is was written: „p.p.“ which means per person and we had to pay double the price. The waiter didn‘t mention anything until the bill came. If want to order this meal, please pay attention to this important detail.

We had an aperitif on the terrace. The weather got bad and we asked to eat inside. They refused as long as it didn't rain... Not a trader at all... We left without tasting the food.
