Guarany Cafe-Bar in Buchs (SG)

A very not caring waiter didn't feel like saying when I was ordering a beer that the beer he suggested was a bottled beer, not on tap. Sure! I have obviously come to a bar to have a bottled beer. This is what people do... Other waitresses are fine, but this guy is not.

Yes, there are women who prefer to serve women or they prefer to sit together and talk to older men, they don't even ask the younger ones if they want something

Very bad service. Until someone noticed that we were sitting there and wanted to order something. And then when we finished the first round, no one came anymore. Although it was visible that all the glasses were empty. It just shows that the employees don't care whether they have guests or not. An absolute no-go.

They don't say sorry after messing up the dress of customers with water. The response from the working people make everything terrible. Please people do not make horrible experiences in here. Your time is valuable!

Loud music. I don't like the setup. Service inattentive despite fewer guests.

Very poor service, staff hanging around guests all the time and forgetting to take orders and even collect them. Absolutely cannot recommend the bar

We were there with friends and the review was long overdue. We actually planned to never visit this bar again because we've unfortunately had bad experiences several times. It's just that there was nothing free anywhere on Saturday evenings. We had just sat down for ten seconds when a very unfriendly waitress came up to us and asked why we hadn't asked for the menu and hadn't ordered yet. Um, hello? Firstly: There was no card on the table when we arrived. Second: We only sat there for ten (!) seconds! When I tried to explain this to her, she just walked away, didn't even listen and cleared the other tables. To note: There were six of us, but we only got one ticket, which is why our order was of course delayed because we had to pass it around first. As soon as she ordered, she pulled out her wallet and wanted to cash in. Stupid, for us. We paid - but unfortunately I was served the wrong drink. When I pointed this out, as a guest I was expecting at least a small "I'm sorry - I'll bring you a new one". In vain - the answer: “Yes, there is a lot going on on Saturdays, it can happen. Sorry." Neither a refund nor an exchange of my drink was possible (I didn't even drink it but left it) Since that day we vowed never to go there again. Also for the others: If you don't want to be treated like a log, stay away from there. There are so many nicer and friendlier bars nearby.

Super place, kind and attentive service, fair prices.

It has quickly become one of my favorite bars. Good prices with good content. The staff is also very friendly. 🤗

Arrogant staff Cappuccino takes about 10 minutes the coffee is barely on the table they want to collect so there is certainly no praise or tip

I didn't eat there, it's a bar with music, a good selection of draft and bottled beer, cocktails and more are also available there. Nice and hardworking staff.

The bar has taken off a lot lately. The manager and owner are both very unfriendly. The service changes every two weeks and knowledge of German is apparently not a requirement in the recruiting process. The employment conditions are also miserable. Maybe that's why no one wants to work in this restaurant for longer than 2 weeks?

The beer isn't exactly tasty, but otherwise it's a very "casual" bar. Near the train station.

Good pub but sometimes there's way too much going on there

In Guarany you can go for a coffee during the day without any problems and meet people to talk, etc. In the evening, especially on Thursday evenings, it is a wonderful bar where you can have a drink or watch sports if something important is going on.

Unfortunately we weren't offered a card or were simply given the cheapest gin and tonic. Without asking which one. Afterwards the card came upon request. The service lady left quickly so questions were not possible. It's a shame, I would have liked to have spent more. :) Otherwise everything is okay.

Too crowded on Thursday and just uncomfortable. Service stressed except Mario. You are not allowed to smoke zigis at home. Balls from the töggelika box are not good

Very nice restaurant. Service is particularly friendly. Cocktails are awesome. The special style of the Bahama Mamas cocktail is extraordinary.
