Disappointing food, not at all Asian, tasteless. We ordered an assortment of gyozas and there was no distinction between them. Stale rice and scarce and expensive starters. I do not recommend this restaurant, it is disappointing

A real delight for gyoza lovers! The authentic flavors and perfectly crispy texture are a real treat for the taste buds. The service is fast and the staff welcoming. A must for an authentic Japanese dining experience.

A shame ! We are an association with people with disabilities. The server made the wrong orders several times. When paying he tries to steal 80 chf from us. After several calculations we show him that the score is much too high compared to what we took. We ask him to divide because everyone pays their share and everyone must have their ticket (there are only 6 of us!), he refuses. Big disappointment and feeling of having been scammed. We won't come back again.

Each time I travel to Geneva, I make sure to take the time to stop at this establishment that I discovered first hand. Exceptional pork ramen and spicy sauce from another planet. It is an error that even Saint Peter cannot forgive you for not stopping here for a meal.

We ordered Gyozas which were very good and well made. However, we were very disappointed with the dotonburi, my friend ordered the octopus one and he only received 4 slices, for the price, it's a bit limited... The service was not very warm and friendly.

Very disappointed with the food in this place, especially with regards to price of meals (~40CHF per person). I ordered a ramen and some gyozas. The texture of the noodles was unpleasant, the broth was extremely salty and everything felt microwaved. Similarly gyozas were unevenly warm and not crunchy. Will definitely not revisit. This is by far the worst food I had in Geneva.

First time to this restaurant. Had the 12 piece gyoza lunch menu (CHF23) - 4 pieces pork, 4 pieces chicken and 4 pieces vegetarian. The gyoza was tender and crispy. They were delicious. The menu also came with rice and miso soup. I would definitely go back again for their ramen. It looks delicious. I was a bit shocked to see some of the other comments but the service was friendly.

Lovely slow jazz and minimalistic and tasteful set ambience made great accompaniment to a lovely Japanese meal of shiitake gyoza and guy don - absolutely recommended.

Gyoza no ho was a real discovery for me, and I have been going there regularly for 2 years now! This little restaurant punctually meets my desires. Between the very high quality otsunami to share and the ultra comforting buta tantamen, there is something for everyone. The broth is the quality of ramen, and that of Gyoza no ho is rich and flavorful. Hot sauce gives the kick we sometimes need! Don't forget the Sake tasting, they are delicious!

Very charming restaurant, quiet, and above all… the ramen is delicious! However, be careful of the spicy sauce which really kicks ass!

We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened and it is always a pleasure to come, the welcome is warm and the service impeccable. There have been a lot of improvements, especially visually. The tofu ramen with broth served on the side is truly incredible in terms of visual, taste and texture. I highly recommend this restaurant which, moreover, offers many vegetarian options.

I really liked the buta tantamen. Next time I'll get the extra caramelized pork! The gyozas and mochi ice creams were very good too.

Since the restaurant was taken over, it no longer has anything to do with what was offered before.... and yet the map has changed little… In fact, the service is no longer what it used to be (beer served in 3/4 of the glass or simply the drinks are served after the starters). On the food side, the fact that the starters arrive before the drinks is already suspicious and can only suggest that everything is not done right away, in fact the tapas were perhaps dried out for this reason. It's also hard to know if the gyozas don't come out of the freezer and that's the biggest shame. We of course hope to be disappointed if we try the experience again, but as the Japanese restaurant market has become hyper competitive in Geneva, it will be hard to raise the bar. Our advice is to stop relying on the good restaurant rating obtained by previous managers and prove to us that you deserve it! “Ganbare!!!” as they say in the land of Gyoza!

Very warm welcome, very good service and excellent food.

Only restaurant collaborating with Buyclub which does not apply the agreed reduction given that the order was for 4 and not for 2 (as indicated on the voucher), even if they are within their rights. However, all other restaurants tested apply the full discount even if the order is for more than 2 people. No explanation from the server. I noticed this difference when I checked the ticket on the way to my vehicle. So I had to come back to the restaurant to have the waiter explain this difference to me, even though he could have done it directly. In addition, no soft drinks to take away. It was good but I won't come back.

The waiter is unfriendly. He refused to allow my daughter to breastfeed her baby. Very bad atmosphere.

Bad service.. extremely average food - cold tofu don and ramen broth was sour. Not a lot of options, ambience is average. Owner made calculation mistakes in the bill. He was very inflexible about a voucher that we had. This restaurant is absolutely missable!

Very unprofessional approach displayed by the server here. We visited this restaurant & was about to take a table, when the server asked us to get rid of baby stroller somewhere away from the table as he said that the restaurant will be filled in sometime. But, given the restaurant didn’t have any baby seat, getting rid of the baby stroller was not feasible. Once we had the food and asked for the cheque, we were served with the same and it was paid right away. However, when we calculated the cheque a couple of minutes later and found the mistake in the calculation, we tried to discuss with the server. And we tried to do so, the server insulted us, yelled at us and called us money less even though we paid extra due to his wrong calculation. On top of it we were asked to leave while my sister was feeding the her baby stating that they are about to close while the closing time of the restaurant was 3 hours later. Coming from the hospitality and service industry, i clearly know that a hospitality job requires a lot of etiquettes and empathy towards the guests. Which was clearly missing in case of this server.

I rarely give reviews like this, but the head server told us it was unacceptable that WE told them (quite discreetly so other customers won't hear it) that their tofu don (tofu rice bowl) had gone bad 🤯 and made it sound like WE didn't know food that had gone off to a sauce that was meant to taste off 🤯 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️ Ok, so they didn't know we work in the food industry, but no service person says that to any customer! You graciously apologise and don't make food gone bad sound like the customers' fault! From the start, the service was very poor, from the lack of knowldge of the menu to suggestions in the menu when we were ordering, to having all our food from soups, starters, sides to the main courses all coming at once and being then told that WE didn't inform them that we would like it spread out 🤷🏽‍♀️ was a bit much! To top it off, not only was the tofu rice bowl sauce gone bad, the rice and noodle bowls were both cold. it was a disaster! For a gyoza place, I was expecting more gyoza choices on the menu, at least 2 veggie options, but there was not much to offer and the shiitake gyoza, I've made better at home. Their only saving grace was the chili sauce that was home made and made things at least more palatable and the sake wasn't too bad. All in all worst restuarant experience I have had in Geneva for a long time! Unfortunate, because the ambience and place looks inviting and we would have really had a good time if not for the customer service and of course food that had gone off. The bill was also quite high and I have had more value for money at other Japanese food restos in Geneva.

The service was satisfactory, though a friendly smile from the waiter would have enhanced the overall experience. While the food was decent, it didn't quite meet expectations given the higher price and smaller portion size. Specifically, the pork in the ramen bowl lacked the desired tenderness and caramelization advertised. On a positive note, the gyōza were quite enjoyable. Overall, it was a somewhat disappointing experience, as I'm aware of better dining options in Geneva that offer both higher quality and larger portions at a similar price point.

Well to tell the truth I convinced my husband to go there only because they have mentioned that they have GaultMillau recommendations. Either they have not eaten there or they give recommendations because they are friends. Whatsoever this place is not as it has been described like the best gyoza 🥟 in Geneva. Either people never had gyoza, or they are simply lying. The service lady is nice, but still I had to point out that before bringing us the mochi mochi she had to clean the table ( we have split the soya and it was obvious that it had to be cleane, but she came with dessert and I had to remind her again that the table has to be cleaned. The food is OK. Please, guys those who think it is Geneva best Japanese restaurant try at least Kakinuma before giving misleading information. And the GaultMillau I don’t trust anymore.

While passing through Geneva we wanted to try a Japanese restaurant. Very warm welcome and good service. Concerning the quality of TOP products, we feel the freshness. But the preparation of the dishes not great at all. It's a limit of revisited dishes and let's not talk about the tiny quantity...make a little effort considering the price. Last thing: don't cut the tuna and salmon so small, make nice slices :)

Ramen lovers !! YOU MUST GO THERE!!! Took myself out on a solo date to work and dine and the ramen were so delightful and tasty. It was my very first time trying this restaurant out and it became my favorite place in Geneva. The owner / manager of the restaurant made sure to make me confortable. The service was on point. I would go back anytime. Thank you for this lovely time, food and service !

Inedible. I didn't even eat half my bowl. I had the tantanmen, the broth was ultra acidic and the noodles which looked more like Italian spaghetti were overcooked.. Nothing to do with a real tantanmen which is supposed to be creamy and spicy... The gyozas were burnt. For the prices I expected better. Anyway, nothing was wrong, I don't recommend

Top with the suggestion Gyu Tantanmen super good and the juice put in a bowl next to it super. And the lemon yuzu tart dessert, magnificent. With friendly staff.... I will come back.👍

Disappointing, unfriendly service where we felt that they didn't want to serve us from the beginning to the end. Right from the start when we came in and also when we took the order. We ordered ramen. Ramen has too sour taste and is not good. Unfortunately I didn't even finish eating. I didn't feel welcome from the start. Not recommendable!

A former cook who worked in this establishment, I strongly advise against it. The chef has no ethics or professional conscience. You have been warned

The food here was amazing. I loved every dish and enjoyed every bite. I even loved the Japanese cocktail i had, which i forgot the name. Just delicious. I gave the service 3 stars because i thought the food took relatively long and the waiters were kind of awkward, so it felt like it's kind of a new place and everyone is finding their bearings. It didn't bother me and the food was totally worth the wait. I think the more popular they get, the service will also jump to 5 stars 🤩 Really chill atmosphere, big windows to the street, small restaurant, what i imagine a restaurant would look like in Japan. Unstated yet beautiful design. I enjoyed my time here.

The staff is very friendly However, the taste seems to be that of Swiss fusion. Not recommended for Asians who are familiar with Japanese food. The dandan noodles are very sour and the donburi onions and sauce are not enough. Gyoza has a strong sesame oil taste. It was delicious to try

For a restaurant that is all about gyozas, these are really very disappointing. Very bland regardless of the stuffing, even the sauces cannot overcome this lack of taste. We also had a selection of hors d'oeuvres whose exorbitant price cannot be explained either by the liliputian size of the bites, nor by their taste qualities, passable but nothing more. The iced green tea was very good though.

gyoza is dry and worse than what you buy at the supermarket. karaage was minuscule and overpriced. service was slow. pork katsu was dry and they had sweet and sour sauce as tonkatsu sauce. they didnt even know what a highball was. avoid and get a bento at the japanese supermarket down the street.

It is beyond me how this place is currently rated at 4.5. While the menu looks promising, the dishes are mediocre. The karaage is so freaking tiny and tasteless. The gyoza is DRY and the katsu don doesn’t even use real tonkatsu sauce (at least it doesn’t taste like it at all). If you have ever been to Japan or if you like Asian food and has been exposed enough to it, you will be extremely disappointed and wishing you had spent your money elsewhere. If you don’t know Japanese cuisine well enough, then don’t come here either otherwise you will have a false image of it. Instead go to the supermarket in the same street and buy a package of frozen gyoza (yes, you read it right, frozen) which will taste 100x better !

We (couple) 100% recommend this restaurant. The sophisticated dishes allowed us to discover various flavors of Japan. We appreciated this restaurant for its quality products, the pretty presentation of the plates and the friendliness of the staff. We will return!

Gyozas are frozen, undercooked, bland. Using fresh ingredients and being generous with tastes and quantities would be a good option.

The food was pretty good! The gyozas were acceptable, with the vegetarian one being the best 7/10 The beef tataki was great! Melt in the mouth delicious with perfect level of cooking 11/10 The pork ramen was good but not great. Served a little bit too cold for my taste 8/10 The three mini entrées we took: salmon bites 6/10 a bit too cold and dry, poulpe bites 8/10 and the teriaki chicken with a beautiful sauce but served too cold.. 8/10! Cute ambiance and nice waiters but within not the best of sound isolation. Recommended, go try it!

Christmas menu: too much fried food, inedible duck, original venison. No taste interest in general. Copious and aesthetic certainly but no pleasure. Starters and main courses served at the same time. We passed on our feedback to the staff who were understanding.
