Hääggenstubeli in Hasliberg

Great location just next to slopes with nice views. Unfortunately, they expanded too much (several additional tables ex terrace) and service / kitchen isn’t up to the task: waiting time was considerably long, several wrong drinks and food were finally served (and if you wanted ro stick to your ordering one had to wait an other 20 to 30 min.). My pumpkin soup with sausage didn’t teally taste like homemade (at least it was very thin) and the sausages were in the soup already cut with an unpleasant skin… Finally, the service wanted us to make pay a wrong bill… chaotic and not really friendly… there are way better places in Hasliberg - like Balisalp or Gummenalp.

Best hut in Hasliberg. Great view, always sun, nice staff and very tasty food. The portions are huge but thank God there are also half portions. Be careful, there's always a lot going on. It's just too good.

Nice mountain pub, good prices, fine food. The waitress who took the order and served it was very friendly. Unfortunately, the woman who collected the money was extremely unfriendly. When she listed the drinks and food at the table, she only mentioned 1 beer at first. Then I told her that I had 2 beers. She answered me very rudely that she was already coming for the second beer. My partner then asked if the toilet was in the house. Again she was very rudely answered that the toilet was next to the house. As he ran away, this unfriendly person also shook his head! I've probably never experienced anything so unfriendly. This woman is simply an imposition on the guests. It's a shame about the otherwise good impression.

The small restaurant is ideally located on the ski slopes. The view is great, the portions are large and delicious, the prices are normally expensive. The employees are friendly, but not very prompt and inattentive. You have to call them if you want to order or pay for something, otherwise you will be overlooked. This has happened to us for the third year in a row. A year ago, a wooden stand that was overflowing with helmets and ski equipment fell on my head. Back then there was free tea and a few apologies. Basically, it would have been appropriate to give me free food because, as they themselves said, the wooden poles were placed too close to the benches and tables. At that time I suffered from this big bump for a week. This year these stands are no longer placed so close to the tables.

Very good cuisine. Friendly staff and everything was uncomplicated. All of us humans. I'd love to come back. Keep it up 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪

I stopped by while hiking in August. Wonderful scenery and cute girl's smile The goat cheese I bought here had a rich flavor and was extremely delicious.

Beautiful, cozy and very friendly alp. Self-service with delicious Alpine cheese and sausages and all sorts of other things. Gladly again! 🥰

We took a lunch break there. The food was very tasty. We had the Jubiburger with Rösti. The cheese on the burger was perfect. The service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, as is usual in ski areas, the prices are high. For example, a glass of tap water would have cost 2.3 CHF.

My favorite hut in the Meiringen-Hasliberg ski area. Fast service, fantastic views.

Wow, that was beautiful! Despite the busyness, the staff remained very friendly and relaxed. The delicious Rösti with bratwurst and onion sauce tasted 10 times more tasty with this beautiful view and the sunny weather. Deserved 5/5 points.

Super fine food and friendly service. There was a huge rush at the moment so we had to wait a little - that's just how it is. Some guests' behavior was therefore inappropriate - it felt like they were calling out to the waitress every 5 seconds. ATTENTION - large portions! So if you're hungry, take it with you or order a small portion. ;)

Typical Swiss cuisine, very tasty!

The "Meitschi" who served at the bar today was so listless, uninterested and unfriendly. Very untypical for the otherwise super friendly staff. She didn't bother, said to Schoggi Bauleys that she didn't know that and the other drinks we wanted were apparently out. Meitschi also announced to the guests behind us that everything was whatever they wanted. Otherwise food good, location great.

The Hääggenstubeli is ideally located right next to the Hääggen chairlift near the top station of the lift. When the weather is nice it is very sunny there and after the break you can quickly get back to the slopes to Mägisalp. If the weather is nice, it is advisable to arrive before 12 p.m., otherwise it will be difficult to find a place on the small terrace. The menu is rich in simple, hearty dishes: rösti, fried eggs, cheese slices, raclette, etc. The portions are almost too large for people with a normal appetite. We ate a raclette. Unfortunately, the cheese was not melted enough and was already solid again and only lukewarm when the raclette was served (on plates that were not preheated). This makes digestion difficult. This problem - cheese gets cold quickly outdoors - would be easy to overcome if the sufficiently melted, liquid cheese were served on a hot, ovenproof dish instead of on a cold plate.

It was OK. The place is nice in terms of view but it took almost 1h before we were served after ordering. Then they came 2x with the wrong food.

Very small restaurant with a nice terrace, run by local farmers. Very good food (large portions) at fair prices. No Schnippo but homemade Rösti or Älpler macaroons, a must when skiing on the Hasliberg.
