Today was the reopening and Good Friday..we ate the menu..everything was freshly cooked and very tasty..the service was professional and very friendly..the view over the lake is beautiful..foresight and a feeling like you were on vacation. .continued joy and success

If I could, I would like to give it 6 stars. We were around 35 people and the service was still great. The food was heavenly, you had to let it melt in your mouth. Unfortunately the current tenant will stop at the end of January or February. I wish the current tenants all the best for the future

Beautiful view of Lake Constance. The atmosphere is a bit sterile. The food tasted very good and was beautifully prepared. The staff was attentive, friendly and great.

Surprisingly good cuisine and service

The Hafen Buffet is located at the beautiful Rorschach harbor on the even more beautiful Lake Constance. With a window seat you have a very nice view. Accessibility by public transport is OK, there are at least parking spaces in the surrounding area. The restaurant is rather averagely equipped (a matter of taste), the food was very good, as was the wine. A downside was the rather low room temperature, which wasn't really conducive to comfort. The service was good, sometimes it took a relatively long time until the next course.

I thought for a long time whether I should give 2 or 3 stars. Correctly it would be 2.5. Family dinner with 16 people: The food was more or less well prepared and beautifully presented. Our lady in charge of the service was very friendly and attentive. So far I would have given the maximum number of stars. Due to the high price structure, you can expect a little more. Therefore the following reviews: 1. The white plates in particular were greasy on the edges and especially not clean on the underside. You can tell when you run your hand over it. If you place the plates one inside the other when clearing away, you have to pay more attention to pre-rinsing. Especially if the plates are left standing for some time. 2. Price-performance is poor. The price for the portions is at least 25% too high. 3. The waiting times between courses are too long. 30 minutes between starter and main course and over an hour between main course and dessert. Of course the restaurant was well attended. However, this waiting time is then too long. 4. It's also a shame that for a group of 16 people, seating or tables cannot be arranged differently. The guests at one table have virtually no contact with those at the second table. Smokers have to completely leave the building one floor below if they want to indulge their addiction. However, I do not deduct the last two points due to the infrastructure. But with a group like this I would give priority to another location in the future. Conclusion: quality good / service good / value for money mediocre / waiting times poor / hygiene poor / infrastructure not rated I'll have the pleasure again in June. If it was the same again, I would have to reduce it to 2 stars. I like to be surprised.

Very pleasant atmosphere, beautiful view of the harbor and lake. The Rorschach Hafen train station is almost in front of the house that used to be the train station building. The beautiful, curved stone staircase is a reminder of this. Meatloaf was a delight and a caramel head for dessert...mmmm

Food is gourmet at a price affordable to every citizen.

Rorschach has numerous restaurants, but the harbor buffet is now probably the best. Good reception, friendly service, very good food and drinks. If you get a window seat, the view is also impressive.

Fine and well located The five stars mainly refer to the food and the view. The lunch meal was really delicious and lovingly prepared. The rest - the facility itself is okay

We spontaneously went out for dinner on Sunday evening and were thrilled! Very nicely prepared, super fresh food despite being close to the rest days and very friendly staff. We'd love to come back!

Wir haben hier einen tollen Abend erlebt: Der Service war hervorragend, äusserst aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war wunderbar (gemischter Salat, Tomaten-Mozzarella-Salat, Entrecôte, Saibling-Filet, Eiskaffe, Crema Catalana). Die Aussicht auf den See ist super, die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Vielen Dank, gerne wieder!

Lässiges Lokal aber schlechter Service Wein wurde nicht nachgeschenkte Teller nicht abgeräumt mussten ewig warten biss jemanden an den Tisch kam . Dessert naja geschmacklich ok flacher Schokoladenkuchen ..... muss kein zweites Mal sein ........

Schöne Lage, gutes Essen,freundliche Bedienung

Unser jährlich Familienessen mit 10 Personen war ein voller Erfolg. Das Küchenchef Menu war geschmacklich und optisch ein Hit. Den aufmerksamen Service haben wir auch sehr geschätzt. Die Aussicht auf den See ist bei jedem Wetter interessant. Wir kommen wieder, auch zu zweit zum Mittagessen.

Restaurant mit toller Aussicht, schönem Interior Design. Das Essen war gut, das Thai Curry ist eher Europäisch als Thailändisch, lieber etwas lokales nehmen.

Als Gruppe von rund 20 Personen buchten wir einen Apero und das nachfolgende Nachtessen. Das Nachtessen umfasste eine sehr leckere Suppe, die nicht wie sonst fast überall mit Sahne masslos veredelt wurde, hat sehr geschmeckt! Das Entrecote mit den Gemüsebeilagen auf den Punkt gebracht, einmalig. Als Nachtisch folgte eine hausgemachte Creme mit caramelisierter Oberfläche. Die Bedienung war ebenfalls sehr aufmerksam. Ich schätzte ebenfalls, dass einheimische, sehr gute Weine geboten werden. Ich werde sicher wieder hier essen.

Sehr gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung und angenehme Athmosphäre. Ich komme gerne wieder, für mich hat es bestens gepasst. Ihr Angebot ist aber sehr fischlastig, Fleischgerichte kommen eindeutig zu kurz, heute zum Beispiel gabs nur Rindsfilet und das wiederum ist ja bekanntlich nicht Jedermanns Sache.

Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Wunderbares Essen, schön zubereitet, gute Portion. Auch für Kinder geeignet. Freundliches aber nicht aufdringliches Personal.

Waren Sonntags mit der Familie dort: - Sonntagsmemue mit Vorspeise (Salat oder Suppe), Fisch aus dem Bodensee (Beilage Bärlauchrisotto oder Pilzravioli), dazu frisches Gemüse, Dessert - Sehr schmackhaft gekocht, Gemüse knackig, Risotto noch ‚Biss‘, Saucen lecker - freundliche Bedienung - schöne Aussicht aud das Rotschacher Hafenbecken und alten Kornspeicher - Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt

Sowohl die Aussicht, als auch das Service und die angebotenen Speisen und Getränke: absolut umwerfend.Besonders hervorzuheben ist die umfassende Beratung und die Mühe, die sich beide Kellnerinnen gaben. Obwohl es eigentlich nichts zu essen gab (15.00 Uhr), „zauberte“ die erste Kellnerin eine kalte Tapas Platte vom Feinsten, „ihre Ablöse“ gab hilfreiche Tipps, wie man am besten mit dem Bus zum Flugplatz Altenrhein kommt, wo ein Bankomat ist...
