Hängebrügg-Beizli in Frutigen

We concluded our little hiking trip with a snack at the Hangebrugg-Beizli. A wonderful place, designed and run with a lot of love and passion. The food is regional and partly homemade. Simply great and always worth a visit

The suspension bridge and restaurant closed early and took an extra 1.5 hours. walked there.

Entrance is free with a drink in the restaurant. There is a great atmosphere and very nice service. Lemon cake is definitely recommended. The only point for improvement is that they can also say at the entrance to the bridge that if you do not consume anything, it costs CHF 4 per person to cross the bridge. I discovered this place by chance and I'm really glad that chance had it that way 🙏. The suspension bridge is privately owned and asks for a small donation, which was a given for me. Very lovingly laid out, I often had to smile, unfortunately the hut at the bridge was not open, there are little things to eat and drink and regional things to buy there. Absolutely worth a visit. We stopped spontaneously and crossed the bridge. In the pub there was a delicious little snack plate with sausage, cheese and bread. Our children loved it and everything was eaten super quickly. It even has a playground. We'll definitely be back!!!!

Very friendly family run café. They agreed to serve us fondue even after their closing time. Extremely good views around. We bought eggs from their farm. Fondue was served with a generous setup with home baked bread. The Citroen cake was great.

Small place with very narrow access and dead end street. If you go by truck it is a bit tight. The official parking lot for the suspension bridge is on the other side with easier access. Here at the bar they are very friendly and the little shop offers drinks, cakes and local cheeses. Very rich and good prices

Today my partner and I visited this beautiful place. We had the MOST delicious cheese board and yummy drinks. The owners were the most kind, welcoming, lovely people. It’s situated in the most beautiful part of Switzerland. We are from Australia and we were having troubles at the end working out payment and they were all so kind and truly made our day. Thanks!

A place with incredible views, passing a suspension bridge where you get to the restaurant. It's like a cozy little house with tables outside and there are also tables inside a little house next door for when it's cold. We ordered a delicious charcuterie board with very good soft bread and for lunch we ordered fondue which was also delicious with natural cheese. For dessert we ordered a lemon cake, I have never had one as good as that. And the price is quite reasonable. I give them a 10 :)

Very aggressively approached by the manager that we had to pay to be allowed to cross the bridge again, even though this was not indicated on the side we came from. We had no cash and pin was not possible, then almost refused to go back to the kids who did not dare to cross the bridge. Das Beizli bei der Hängebrücke Hohstalden verspricht frisches aus der Region und hält das auch. Der Hängebrugg Teller mit frischen Wurst, Trockenfleisch und Käse aus dem Tal, serviert mit selbstgemachtem Brot ist der Hit.

Feines, sehr freundlich geführtes Beizli ennet der schönen Hängebrücke. Allerlei Getränke inkl. alkoholisches. Regionale Spezialitäten wie selber gebackene Torte + Cake (Citron mmh), Hobelkäse, Wurst und Trockenfleisch! Kurze Bedienzeiten, unterhaltsame Gäste!

Alles, was wir gesehen haben, war sehr freundlich zubereitet und serviert. Die Kuchen waren Selfmade. Es war ein sehr entspannender Ort zum übernachten

Zu dritt, ein Hund dabei, sind wir entlang der Engstige auf die Hängebrücke gestoßen. Ein paar steile Stufen und wir konnten auf der Hängebrücke die schöne Aussicht über das Tal genießen. Unser Hund hat seinen ganzen Mut zusammen genommen und ist tapfer über die offene Brücke marschiert. In dem kleinen Lokal jenseits der Brücke bekommt man lokale und teilweise hausgemachte Spezialitäten. Erfrischend ist die selbst gemachte Limonade. Ein schöner Platz zum verweilen.

Wir waren spazieren und haben uns im Hängebrügg-Beizli eine kleine Stärkung gegönnt. Sooo lecker und gemütlich! Bei schlechtem Wetter kann man im sehr kleinen Hüttli 2-3 Tische zusammensitzen und bei schönem Wetter auch draussen. Die Toilette ist sehr sauber und gepflegt!

Es ist ein toller Spaziergang zur Hängebrücke von Frutigen, die sich von beiden Seiten des Flusses nähert. Der urige Service im Restaurant ist typisch für die freundlichen Persönlichkeiten des Berner Oberlandes, vielleicht die freundlichsten Menschen in der Schweiz. Ich war schon oft an einem Tagesspaziergang und schließlich haben wir für ein abendliches Fondue für eine Familiengeburtstagsfeier gebucht. Toller Service und das Feuer machten den Platz gemütlich, es war sehr privat und exklusiv für uns was super war. stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie Schweizer Währung haben.

Die " Eingang' in der Familie - geführtes Restaurant ist der 153 Meter langen Fußgängerzone Suspension Bridge. Es lohnt sich der Weg für die Aussicht. Das Restaurant serviert einfache Essen zu einem angemessenen Preis. Für 5 Personen, wir hatten ein Käse und Brot brett und Käse, Wurst und Brot brett. Der Käse, Brot und Wurst waren sehr gut. Wir hatten mit der Mahlzeit. Es gibt auch Eis.

Die Beiz wird von einem sehr netten, zuvorkommendem Ehepaar geführt. Wir haben unseren kurzen Zwischenstopp auf der liebevoll dekorierten Terrasse genossen und würden jederzeit nochmals einen Halt dort machen.

Ein kleine Familienunternehmen mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Spezialität sind Fondue, Hobelkäseplatte, Bündner Fleisch. sehr guter Kuchen und Brot alles selbst gemacht. Hobelkäse kann man dort Kaufen. Wir wandern von Frutigen zum Beizli ( 1 Stunde) und nehmen dann das Postauto zurück nach Frutigen. Haltestelle ist direkt bei der Hängebrücke.Im Monat gehen wir sicher 2 mal vorbei.

Wir genossen als Gruppe ein ausgezeichnetes Fondue. Der Zugang erfolgt vom Wanderweg her oder über die gigantische Hängebrücke.

Herziges Beizli mit sehr netter Bedienung. Die Hängebrücke ist ein Erlebnis für sich. Schöne Wanderung von Frutigen entlange der Engsltige und zurück über Reinisch. Wir genossen im Beizli feinen, selbstgemachten Sirup und wunderbaren Zitronencake.

Hängebrücke ist verrückt! Der Bach unter ist so schön! Ich bin Höhenangst, aber wir wollten eine Tasse Kaffee, so die Angst zu überwinden. Das Cafe selbst ist sehr schön, guter Kaffee mit vernünftigen Preis (nicht teurer als überall). Die Besitzerin ist freundlich und erklärte alle Arten von interessante Sachen für Touristen.

Man bekommt in diesem kleinen charmanten Beizli wunderbare und grosszügig bemessene Desserts. Auch Trockenfleisch kann man essen, aus der Region natürlich. Und bereits der Weg über die Brücke ist ein Erlebnis, wenn gleichzeitig einige Leute darauf gehen und dies nicht im Gleichschritt, wackelt es sehr übel:) P.S. Bei den Desserts das Kalorienzählen vergessen....

Hier muss man gewesen sein! Ein schönes, kleines Lokal. Freundliche und persönliche Bedienung. Bodenständig, ehrlich, lecker, einfach genial. Man kann auch im Fondue-Stübli reservieren. Sehr urig dort. Hier muss man mal gewesen sein!!!

Ein ausserordentlich freundliches, junges Wirteehepaar bewirtschaftet hier eine urige Hütte- oder eine sehr angenehme angelegte Terrasse. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail, reichlich Blumen, Tipps für Wanderungen und immer frischen Kuchen sogar mit Auswahl :-) ) und leckerer Fleischplatte... frischem Sirup... aus Kräutern aus der Umgebung kann man hier eine rast nur empfehlen. Besonders, das "Ankommen" nach einer Hängebrückentour ist hier wunderbar.
