Heard a lot of positive things, but ultimately a bit disappointed. The fact that they offer four different meat dishes with just one sauce is subterranean. Not everyone likes honey thyme...Presentation of the food was very successful! Overall, no dominant aromas, very well seasoned. Portions a bit tight, with desert etc. Ok. Toilet access for people in the winter garden is only via the main door, and the toilets aren't really clean either. Overall, at best average for this price level

I can only recommend. Have been to Pintli 3 times. Has a playground for the children. Food was great. Service very friendly and extremely professional. Had a family celebration with 10 people. Everyone could order from the menu. We'd love to come back. Tip: As a meat eater, I really enjoy ordering the Vergimenue here.

A great culinary experience! Michelle, our very nice waitress, was able to give us well-founded information about the food and wine and served us excellently. Also a thank you to the young lady (unfortunately I didn't see her name) who came to refill the water and served in a very friendly manner. The food was excellent and the menu prices were moderate. The service here is top-notch, and it's refreshing to see such young and professional staff. The food was outstanding, every dish was a delight to the taste buds. However, if I had to nitpick, the sauces were so foamy they almost gave me a bubble bath! Overall, a wonderful dining experience. I'll definitely be back!

We always visit the Hardern Pintli in the autumn. The slightly longer journey is worth it for the game menus. Very good food and decent portion. Only recommended.

Very disappointing. No decorations on the table when making a reservation for a celebration and waiting over an hour for the next pre-ordered course. The staff seems unprofessional, leaves you alone and the chef is never seen. No comparison to the friendly and courteous Freudiger's. October 14, 2022 I didn't expect a free cake, you're confusing me. Another unprofessional act to write something like that without knowing for sure who it is!

Hardern Pintli is actually a good restaurant with very friendly and attentive staff. What is incredibly sad, however, is the sad fact that people are taking advantage of the economic situation. The Hardern-Pintli is the only restaurant in the area that charges a surcharge for the menus. 4.Fr more per menu! 4th Fri!!! Here you can just see that some people are greedy for money. We were regular guests who consumed AT LEAST once a week. Since the price increase, we have been happy to give the pub a wide berth. Those of us who are always extremely surprised at this price gouging. 2 stars because the greed for money drags down the actually high value of the pub.

Our visit was some time ago, but I still remember how we had dinner with you on my birthday and then we were pretty full, I would say more than full, when we marched onto the last train in Lyss and there was no time left to buy a ticket and as a result of the buses we promptly had double the amount that evening. But we will definitely visit you again. 🤗

Apparently a little joke is totally out of place with certain employees when you have to listen to them on the way out and see (facepalm) how wrong they obviously found what you said as a guest and then discuss it loudly in the kitchen. I have not insulted this person in any way and therefore I do not have to put up with such a derogatory reaction from him. Even if she thinks I didn't notice anything about it. I don't have to go to a restaurant like that anymore, sorry. Just pathetic!

We waited 1 hour 45 minutes for our main course The service staff apologized on the grounds that all the guests had come together. But that wasn't our impression. Food was good

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The service is excellent. The staff was very friendly and the food was very tasty Reservations must be made on weekends. There is a season ticket (highly recommended at the moment) and a standard ticket. The dishes are freshly prepared. I don't want to reveal much. Try it out for yourself and I hope you like it as much as I do. By the way, in summer there is a great terrace to spend lovely evenings.

There were five of us on Fri. September 17th. there at midday. We had to wait a whopping hour for our food, even though we ordered the lunch menu! Food bland and greasy. Service courteous and friendly.

Great kitchen with friendly and attentive service!

On one of the few warm summer evenings so far this year, we were guests in the garden of the Hardern Pintli. In keeping with the tradition of the previous owners, the current host couple is continuing the business, with some well-known classics on the menu. At the beginning we were able to enjoy one of the refreshing aperitif cocktails. After this hot day, the Appenzeller beer also tasted like a beer should taste. The evening was launched. We started with a chicken liver terrine, an off-menu specialty offered by the always cheerful and attentive service. The excellent sweet wine that we bought with it was a hit and went perfectly. Together with the rock lobster, the exotic, lukewarm salad with a subtle sesame dressing formed a small symphony of Far Eastern flavors. The main course consisted of grilled turbot for two people. This was first presented in all its glory at the table before it made its way onto the plates, where it found its way back to the guests surrounded by the feather-light foam of a herb beurre blanc, who also appreciated the selected and beautifully presented vegetable side dishes. The potatoes, which were also perfectly fried, did the rest. This freshness, this delicacy and the slightly nutty taste of the perfectly cooked fish shows what the excellent cuisine is capable of. As a wine accompaniment to lobster and fish, we tried a Chardonnay from the Bündner Machtum - perfect with the seafood, but a bit too contrasting with the delicate and mild fish dish. For dessert we treated ourselves to a classic iced coffee, which came with a light, creamy whip and completely fulfilled our sweet expectations. We ended the evening in the lounge adjacent to the terrace, although we would have been happy if this space had not also been used as a car parking space. All in all, a very successful culinary evening, without much chi chi, but with class, completely committed to tradition.
