We 4 PHSG students held a lottery afternoon with Haus Vorderdorf. The event was very successful and everyone involved had fun. Haus Vorderdorf is very cooperative and really helps you with the implementation, it was a pleasant collaboration. The only thing to “complain about” was the contact process, which took a bit of a long time but that was a thing of the past. If you would like to carry out a project with Haus Vorderdorf, we would be happy to recommend it to you, that would be a good idea

I had the pleasure of being able to work at Haus Vorderdorf for two weeks. As an intern, I got to know the home as a very beautiful, modern and comfortable place to live for those in need of care. The retirement and nursing home in Trogen offers beautifully furnished rooms, a great garden, varied activities, delicious food and much more. The residents are well served by the staff and nothing is left to be desired; you will look for defects in vain. Anyone who chooses Haus Vorderdorf will undoubtedly not regret it!

As part of a project, I was able to get to know Haus Vorderdorf and Ms. and Mr. Selmanaj personally and am thrilled by the humanity, warmth and foresight that are impressively visible and tangible in this retirement and nursing home. A dignified and beautiful place for all residents.

The view is great, you can see the beautiful old Appenzellerland and the staff are friendly and very helpful, new bed linen every day and everything is nice and clean, you can sing and the staff read stories just great 👍

The location, close to the old village center and yet in a quiet location with a view of the beautiful Appenzell landscape, is excellent. The staff are very friendly and take care to make everyday life attractive for the residents. The many festivals and excursions as well as art exhibitions are some examples of this home culture.
