Zunfthaus direkt neben der Limmat im Niederdor vomn Zürich. Sehr gediegene Atmosphäre und superfeines Essen!

Ausgezeichnetes Essen. Wir hatten das Kalbskotlett. Es war fantastisch. Auch der Wein - Aurum - war top.

Me sorprendió cuando se anunció que la tripulación había cambiado y fui allí para ver cómo sería. Y fue genial de nuevo. Hemos elegido el menú degustación acompañado de vino. Cada plato fue perfecto, realmente sabroso en un alto nivel. Además, el vino por el precio era bueno (42 CHF por 7 vasos de vino). Un punto muy pequeño, para mí los platos han sido un poco demasiado grandes; -) Me sentí un poco lleno después de todos los platos pero oye han estado tan buenos que tuve que comerme todos: -))

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 8 Personen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und der Service mit dem sympathischen Wirtepaar top. Wirklich schön zu sehen, dass Zürcher Küche so modern interpretiert werden kann! Empfehlenswert ist das Zürigschnätzlete und die Weinkarte!Wir waren überaus zufrieden und können nur empfehlen, es selbst auszuprobieren!

Gourmets aufgepasst! Dieses Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen: Sehr zuvorkommender, professioneller und sympathischer Service, über sämtliche Gänge absolut delikate Küche, sehr gemütliches Ambiente... Die vielen geschnitzten Herzen an den Balken des schönen Deckengewölbes wiederspiegeln die Seele dieses Restaurants!!! Tolles Gastro-Erlebnis!

Servicio muy amable, buen lugar soleado,Cool whine blanco mezclado con Soda como nos encanta en la parte suizo-alemán. Nada de que quejarse. Luego pedimos un capuchino. Vivo en Zurich y frecuentado varios restaurantes en Zurich en áreas caras. Pero no podía creer cuando llegó el proyecto de ley - 7. - para un pequeño capuchino. Increíble y mi primero. Muy malo para la imagen de Zúrich como destino turístico. Precio de cohete por un poco de agua marrón y leche. . .

Neuem gegenüber offen, neutral in der Erwartung enttäuschend in der heutig Erfahrung. Die Schuhe die man sich anzieht, wählt man sich selbst aus, entsprechend sollten sie passend gewählt werden. Die heute haben leider nicht gepasst, die schmerzten. Eine Enttäuschung.

Hemos visitado este lugar justo después de la reapertura en agosto de 2020. La comida era increíble y el ambiente en esta antigua casa gremial es único en Zúrich. El servicio fue excelente y las bebidas en el bar de la planta baja son imprescindibles para todos los visitantes de Zurich. La propia ginebra estaba muy rica y allí mismo se puede comprar una botella para llevar a casa.Solo podemos recomendar este restaurante para cada tipo de ocasión.

Sehr sympathische neue Gastgeber, freundliches Personal und ein sehr feines Zürigschätzelts. Auf jeden Fall wieder ein Besuch wert.

Ich war im letzten Jahr zweimal dort, beide Male mit meiner Frau. In beiden Fällen hatten wir leckeres Essen, das von sehr kompetentem und freundlichem Personal serviert wurde. Das Highlight waren die Crepes als Dessert direkt an unserem Tisch!

Es ist viele Jahre her, dass ich hier bei Geschäftspartnern zu Abend gegessen habe, also war ich daran interessiert, wie es in diesen Tagen für ein Mittagessen unter der Woche lief. Ich freue mich, berichten zu können, dass es immer noch gut geht. Die Atmosphäre ist altes Zürich mit dem Fassdach im Hauptspeisesaal. Der Service war prompt und einwandfrei. Ich empfehle es sehr.

We visited the Bar at Haus Zum Rueden on a Saturday afternoon. I booked in advance. We got there around 40 minutes earlier and there was no problem in getting our booked table earlier which was great. The gentleman in charge was very friendly and welcoming. We wanted to order a burger for my daughter but unfortunately the menu had changed the previous week but the gentleman in charge suggested a few kids meals options which was great. My husband ordered the Wiener schnitzel, my daughter had the cod fish fingers and I ordered the Club sandwich. All dishes were great. We had a nice tomato foccacia for starter. The Wiener schnitzel came with a very nice cranberry sauce. The Club Sandwich was absolutely amazing. It had a big chicken fillet, a perfectly cooked fried egg, bacon, gherkins, tomato, lettuce, chopped red onions and a delicious dressing. It’s definitely one of the best Club sandwiches I have ever had. It was a very pleasant experience. Great food and one of the best and friendliest customer services. We happily come back next time we visit Zurich.

This is value for money, food excellent, wine excellent (quattromani) and very professional service. Already looking forward to coming back next time.

Im spätgotischen Rahmen kann man hervorragend Tafeln und geniessen. In diesem Zunfthaus wird auf hohem Niveau gekocht. Es ist ein Vergnügen in diesem Hause zu verweilen. Vom Personal wird man bestens betreut.

Das Essen im Rüden ist einfach Spitzenklasse. Die professionelle Bedienung arbeitet hier absolut makellos. Die Speisen (speziell das zarte Rindfleisch) und die Getränke sind absolut erstklassig

Сесть без резервации - нереально. Произвести впечатление на девушку, состоятельных друзей, бизнес-партнеров - это сюда. Был по приглашению бизнес-партнеров в отдельном кабинете. Шик! Но очевидно, что человеку или очень усердно считающему деньги, или не погруженному в тему высокой кухни, - лучше пройти мимо. Остальные получат удовольствие. Да! Работает только по вечерам.

I can not say enough positive things about the dinner my wife and I had here. The waiter helped us select a wine, and provided a couple to taste, so my wife could get one she liked. The amuse bouche was delicious seared ahi tuna. The salad was fresh and perfect. We shared the whole sea bream with risotto and vegetables, and it was heaven on a fork. The cherry roulade for dessert was delicious and clearly freshly baked. Andreas was patient with us, explained everything well, and answered the many questions we had about the food , the historic house, Zurich, and the high end cars driving by. When TA allows us to give six stars, I’ll amend this review.

De la très bonne cuisine italienne raffinée. Un peu compliqué car le serveur ne parlais ni anglais ni français mais au final une excellente soirée dans le centre.

We ended up eating here spontaniously just by having a look at the menu with our kids as we were strolling in Zurich old city.What a delight and great choice we made!The service is very attentionate, the server suggested homemade nuggets and french fries for our youngest- which were very tasteful. We ordered a cheesburger with fries, a pasta dish with chanterelles mushrooms which was absolutely divine and deep fried river fish with potatoes- excellent.wasnt cheap at all, but nothing in Zurich comes cheap..All in all we had a very tastful diner and pleasant time. Very pleasant service.

Eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants: ob geschäftlich oder privat. Konstant hohes Niveau in der Küche und im Service. Super Weinkarte und wunderbar vielfältige Speisekarte. Ein perfekter Ort um am Samstag Nachmittag draussen unter den Bögen etwas zu essen und die Aussicht auf die Limmat und die Altstadt zu geniessen! Weiter so Giovanni!!

I was looking for Zürcher geschnetzeltes and the price seemed to be between CHF 35 and 40 everywhere, so I plumped for the Haus zum Rüden, rated as one of the best places in Zürich. The waiters were friendly and the table linen thick. On a busy Saturday evening they could fit me in on a high table on the pavement terrace. They took my order pretty fast and it took about half an hour for my food to arrive, The geschnetzeltes was indeed very nice, creamy and savoury, served with rösti with a pinch of nutmeg in it. Nevertheless an expensive dish in an expensive city.

We were here on the day before our wedding anniversary. The restaurant had impeccable personal attention and service. The dinner was fabulous -- fish for two was wonderful and expertly filleted at our table side by the owner/chef personally. The atmosphere was very intimate -- quiet with wonderful original wood interior. We were not rushed nor neglected -- the attention was perfect. I will come back when next in Zurich.

Wow, what a fantastic lunch along the Limmat River in Old Town Zurich! It started with fresh baked bread (delicious) and then I ordered the veal. Zurich Style he says is not breaded, and it’s in a rich mush team sauce that will force you to use the bread to get every drop off the plate. As I did. Wonderful.

Das Mittagessen im Haus zum Rüden war einfach perfekt. Angefangen bei der Einrichtung. Elegant, edel, gemütlich. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Unser Kellner war äusserst zuvorkommend und immer zur richtigen Zeit da, niemals aufdringlich.Die Speisen waren himmlisch.So muss es sein.Die Karte vielfältig und übersichtlich.Sicher für jeden etwas delikates.Die Preise sind gemessen am Niveau von Küche und Bedienung absolut moderat.Hier möchte ich ein grosse Lob an das ganze Küchenteam sowie den Serviceteam aussprechen.Ich empfehle diese Lokalität jedem weiter, der in gepflegter Atmosphäre delikat speisen möchte.Einfach Himmlisch.

Having a reserved for lunch we ended up with a sumptuous meal! I love the location and the perfect. My friend had a lovely classic “Zürich geschnetzeltes” and I loved the salmon! Wine was perfect, so was the Schnaps to terminate. The perfect place in Zurich!

Das Haus zum Rüden ist lange im Voraus aus ausgebucht aber im Erdgeschoss ist eine Bar mit Bewirtung und eine kleine Auswahl der Spitzen Küche. Personal sehr freundlich.

It was a Monday night in Zurich; lots of restaurants closed. The Haus zum Ruden fine dining restaurant was closed too, but the bar was open and served a restricted menu. In this historical building, we enjoyed an excellent dinner of veal, white asparagus and potatoes, the daily special. It was delicious. The two glasses of local Chasselas were a perfect accompaniment. The service was superb.

Beatiful location to have lunch outside by the river. Excellent food and service, good quality price ratio. I would certainly come again for dinner.

We arrived at the restaurant without reservation and the staff warmly welcomed us. We ordered 2 starters and 2 main, which were all excellent: the fish and meat were nicely cooked with the right amount of sauce and sides. The wine was also excellent. Although we were no longer hungry at this point because the serving size is quite generous, we still wanted to try dessert, and were not disapointed : the fruit-based dessert with avocado ice cream was amazing, and the best surprise came with the tiramisu that the chef prepares at the table (I had never seen taht before). Not only it is a great idea, but the tiramisu itself is excellent. In addition to the dishes order, you are also offered excellent bread with oil and small appetizers at the begining, and small sweet bites with the check, which contributes positively to the overall excellent experience. The staff has been extremely nice, polite and thoughtful all through diner. One more note that also makes a great difference : we came with our dog, who received a bowl of water, a bowl of dog food and a little blanket! We were absolutely amazed by this thoughtful gesture.I recommend 100%, and I yill definitely go back the time i am in Zurich !

Essen war erstklassig mmmmh! Tartar Oooober-Suuuuuper!! Gschnäzläts und Rösti s, war HIMMLISCH!!!! So guät gemacht der Koch ist GENIAL!!!Service erste Klasse noch besser kann keiner sein! Der Dessert Oooober Hammmer!!!Ich würde dieses tolle Haus jedem weiterempfehlen innen ist sooo schön!Der Chef sehr zuvorkommend und Hilfsbereit ,da stimmt einfach alles!!!

Das jährliche Jumelagetreffen zweier Serviceclubs aus München und vom Zürichsee. Insgesamt ca. 60 Personen. Hervorragende und sehr professionelle Betreuung des Anlasses bereits im Vorfeld und dann an diesem Samstagabend im November 2018. Alles hat gestimmt: Gastfreundschaft, Essen, Trinken und das einmalige Ambiente des Gotischen Saals. Ein sehr gelungener Anlass für eine grössere und sehr anspruchsvolle Gesellschaft.

We arrived at the bar below the restaurant and tried eating here a few days later because the “bar menu” was phenomenal. After begging suggested a perfect wine that paired very well with our dinner we enjoyed a wonderful 3 course meal, they gave of free samples of of another starter we were interested in. Everything was delicious and the service was speculator.

The owner was amazing! He helped us decide what the best dishes were and he was not wrong! The server was also amazing he was attentive and kept our water glasses filled and he suggested the best wine. It was truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had.

We ate here as surprise guests for a relatives 80th birthday. The team were so happy to be part of the surprise that they even hid us in an upstairs room until the main party arrived & then took photo's of 'the big reveal'The food was delicious and the service impeccable. For a special occasion, I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. It has an aura of calm in a really historic room with lovely views over the river.Members of our party ate veal & rosti, fresh perch and amazing pasta. Leave room for dessert - which I didn't, to my regret.

Some friends chose this restaurant as it was their last night in Zurich, and they wanted to eat Swiss food. From the time we entered, we were treated very warmly by Andrea and Giovani. They joked with us, (there were 6 of us). We enjoyed everything so much, we decided to return the next evening which was our last night in Zurich. They were already waiting for us and gave us extras we weren't expecting. The service, food, and hospitality was excellent. If we ever get back to Zurich, we'll be there for dinner again.

Dined here as a member of a private party and could not fault. The interior is very well presented with plenty of history and the menu and wines were delightful. Not sure how easily this is accessed by casual diners but worth checking out. A point to note is that the restaurant is on the first floor.

Genuinely friendly service, great food and less expensive than I feared. Great location and beautiful dining area. Would certainly recommend for anyone visiting Zürich.

This place that dates back to the 14th century was a meeting place to share alcoholic beverages amongst the members of the constaffel society ( guild) . The name "zum Rüden" derives from the wolf hound, which was adopted in the heraldry of the Constaffel as a symbol of aristocratic hunting rights. Today the ground floor is a bar (very nice) and the 1st floor the restaurant and the top floor is used for closed events. Upscale place...tables big and distant from each other for increased privacy. Small pets allowed. A dish to mention is surf and turf. fish, king prawns and a perfectly prepared filet of beef. Spicy mango chutney and wasaby puree of potatoes. Very good and unusual. Reservations recommended , especially weekends.

Lange in Zürich geschaut, wo man ein preiswertes Menü bekommt und man sich auch von der Atmosphäre wohl fühlt. Hier seit ihr absolut richtig. Auf jedenfall einen Besuch wert. Super Service vom staff.

the only reason I dont rate it 5/5 was the relative long wait for starters and maisn. I am not sure if they had a function going and at these prices, I dont care. I want my service impeccable, which normally it is. The quality of the place, the menu, the cooking, the wines, paired or recommende is extemly good. An experience not to miss if you can make it and are ready to pay a little over ther average. En guete!

Ehrlicherweise bin ich immer ein bisschen skeptisch, wenn ich einen traditionellen Namen bzw ein bekanntes Haus in einer Stadt zum Abendessen besuche. Denn all zu oft hält der Name und das Ambiente zwar was er verspricht, Service und Essen fallen aber leider gerne durch langweilige Routine ab.Was für eine positive Überraschnung im Haus zum Rüden! Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, unser Tisch am Fenster war dezent beleuchtet und die Halle im ersten Stock ist nicht nur wunderbar historisch sondern vor allem sind die Tische sehr angenehm locker gestellt. Die exklusive, historische Note des Hauses spiegelt sich auch im Degustationsmenü wieder. Wir hatten uns für 4 Gänge mit hauptsächlich Fisch entschieden und waren durchgängig begeistert. Qualität, Service und Abstimmung der einzelnen Gerichte war auf sehr hohem Niveau. Die dazu gereichten Weine der Weinbegleitung harmonierten hervorragend und waren gar nicht „Standard“ sondern wirklich gut ausgesucht. Fazit: wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Dont get me wrong. The rest of the food was very good too. I had the ravioli with lobster and the duck breast. Both tasty especially the duck. But the tiramisu, mama mia, they make it on the table, right in front of you, with fresh materials. The result is extraordinary!

Mit meinen Freunden besuchte ich das Restaurant und wie assen uns quer durch die Speisekarte.Das Degustationsmenü hat sehr spannende und hochwertige Produkte, saional und mit Liebe zum Detail auf den Teller gebracht. Food-paring geliegt dem Küchenchef also sehr gut. Auf der Speisekarte findet wirklich jeder was. Alles, was ich probiert habe hat grossarig geschmeckt! Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und fachlich kompetent. Man fühlt sich auf Augenhöhe behandelt und es wirkt nichts, im Haus zum Rüden, abgehoben. Das Ambiente ist ausgezeichnet und nun eins meiner Lieblingsrestaurants.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of dining in your restaurant on February 23,2019. We have been lucky to dine in many high level restaurants in several different countries around the globe. We both can not be happier with our overall experience. Mr Giovanni Pecoraro was incredibly welcoming and attentive and overall made our experience fun. Our food was artfully prepared and delicious. The decor is beautiful. The wait staff was pleasant and helpful. My only regret is that the rest of my family did not get to join us for this experience.

Im beeindruckenden altehrwürdigen Lokal wurden wir als Freunde empfangen. Das Personal arbeitet mit Leidenschaft und Freundlichkeit zum Wohl des Gastes; zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und geduldig unsere Fragen beantwortend. Natürlich fehlte auch der Knigge nicht --> Ladies first. Fachkundige Diskussionen über den geeigneten Weinbegleiter rundeten das Gesamtbild ab. Als Vorspeise genossen wir ein hervorragendes, handgeschnittenes Tartar. Meine Partnerin erfreute sich eines perfekt medium reare gebratenen Steacks währenddessen ich das Zürcher Geschnetzelte genoss. Sogar zu meiner Frage zur Art der Saucenzubereitung gab mir der Chef des Hauses bereitwillig Auskunft und brachte mir ein "Rindsfondmuster" aus der Küche. Die Portionen sind grosszügig weshalb das Dessert leider ausfiel. Eine kleine Anmerkung zur Art wie die Kräuterbutter angerichtet wurde, nahm der Chef sofort auf (es war zu viel) und ich bin überzeugt, sie passen das an.

Wir waren heute zu einem Stammtisch Event in diesem schönen Haus. Der Service ist sehr gut und freundlich. Ich hatte nur einen Salat und der war sehr gut.

Das Essen sowie die Bedienung hätte nicht besser sein können. Saisonale und regionale Gerichte im Herzen von Zürich.

Went here on a Thursday night, reasonable crowd and nice place to eat. I liked the food and I liked the wine but the price was over the top for what we had. Service was okay.

Das Essen im Haus zum Rüden war perfekt. Es ist schnell gekommen und war von der Zubereitung, der Qualität und dem Geschmack her hervorragend. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und steht mit Leidenschaft hinter dem Lokal.

Nous avons réservé une salle à Haus zum Rueden pour l'intervention d'un speaker puis un dîner. La salle était magnifique à l'étage, belle vue sur la ville et la rivière depuis les fenêtres, le personnel très professionnel, le dîner était très bon. Une très belle prestation.

Mangé un turbot absolument incroyable! Accueil très chaleureux, atmosphère unique et service fabuleux! Sans parler du repas et du vin absolument divins!

Ohne Reservation hatten wir keinen Platz im Restaurant und somit haben wir uns in die Bar gesetzt zum Essen. Das Essen war sehr sehr gut, ausser einem Fehler, der wurde aber mehr als nötig durch den Chef wieder ausgeglichen. Der Service war sehr gut und aufmerksam. Es ist eine Freude dort zu essen.

Since 1335 this house is the home of the Konstaffel Guild. Its members were the old Zurich nobility and all those Zurich personalities who did not belong to another guild. It is considered the first among the 2 dozen guilds in town and it is still active. Very well maintain historic house, with an excellent public restaurant, and a guildhall on the upper floor best suited for larger parties and reunions in downtown Zurich. Excellent food, wines, service and a high class cosy atmosphere. Price in consequence.

5 stars for everything: the delicious food, the wonderful service, the exquisite wine, the unique setting. We loved it and are looking forward to our next visit!

Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal dort und sicher auch nicht zum letzten Mal. Einfach immer wieder ein Erlebnis für den Gaumen und das Gemüt. Das Essen ist fantastisch, die Bedienung herzlich aber nicht aufdringlich, einfach stilvoll aber auch nicht steif. Wir kommen sicher bald wieder...Ein grosses Dankeschön an die Küche und die Bewirtung.

We had dinner at Haus zum Rueden in late November in the Gothic hall. The food was fantastic — my husband got the crostini and then the veal chop and I got the a steak. We shared the tiramisu (made tableside) for dessert. The service was exceptional — attentive but not at all intrusive. And the dinner was all the more memorable for the beautiful view of the Limmat right outside our window. We highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable meal.

Went to the place for its special 14th century building! But food is great too. Menu is not big but even vegetarian will find something for themselves. Servies is great and on my experience most friendly then any other places in Zurich. Definitely worths to visit for quite dinner among the friends, lovers or clients. Thank you for the evening.

Mein Mann hatte das Restaurant ausgesucht und meine Schwester war skeptisch ob es nicht vielleicht nur so ein “Touristending” sei. Weit gefehlt... die Räumlichkeiten sind klein und nicht voll. Eine super gemütliche Atmosphäre. Wir würden super herzlich mit Namen begrüßt. Der Tisch war toll. Beim Essen würden wir beraten, ebenso beim Wein. Mehrfach würde nachgefragt ob alles ok sei... Wasser und Wein würden immer nachgeschenkten. Der Abend war nicht billig, aber es war jeden Franken wert. Einfach etwas besonderes

My boyfriend and I ordered the entire fish for two. Beautifully cooked. The service was what stood out the most. The manager fillet the fish table side. The Resturant was extremely accommodating to our food allergies. The waiter recommended great wine. The manager made this an unforgettable experience

Das Haus zum Rüden gehört der Gesellschaft zum Constaffel, eine der 13 alten Zünfte Zürichs. Das mittelalterliche Haus ist sehr schön renoviert und hat sogar einen Lift. Die Aussicht auf die Limmat ist wunderschön und das Essen ist ausgezeichnet!

Such a memorable dining experience in Zürich. Stunning restaurant- excellent food! The owner, Giovanni, makes you feel as if you are dining in his own private fancy haus. My husband had the octopus and the veal chop-both which he described delicious, very generous portions. The owner assisted with selecting a wine which was excellent. The decor was beautiful, and very romantic There is limited seating- so very private and intimate dining experience with a very attentive staff. One of the servers gave us a private tour of the banquet hall before dinner.We ended the night with the citrus crepes, cooked table side! They were delicious! Make sure to leave room for them.Side note for uber users: it is mismarked as being down the block .

Wir haben den Geburtstag einer Freundin gefeiert und alles war perfekt, vom Empfang, der Bedienung und dem Essen. Der Saal mit dem halbrunden Holzdach ist sehr speziell und, was wir besonders geschätzt haben, die Tische sind so gesetzt, dass immer genügend Platz und Luft bleibt. Keiner muss schreien, um gehört zu werden. Und die Gespräche am Nachbarstisch sind weit genug weg, stören also nicht.

This was a very enjoyable experience. The staff (owners) were not overly formal but perfectly attentive. Food was very good.

Uno de los locales mas hermosos del viejo Zurich, con inmejorable vista sobre el río y la ciudad, Haus zum Ruden es una excelente opción para una comida o cena especial.El menú es pequeño y bien cuidado siempre sobre clásicos, la comida de primera, el servicio muy bueno aunque a veces, si está muy lleno o tienen un evento privado puede ser un poco lento.Muy recomendable.

Questo è sicuramente, almeno dal mio punto di vista, un ristorante al top. Ero con amici/clienti e ne siamo usciti entusiasti. La location è fantastica i pochi tavoli ben distanziati e apparecchiati con eleganza; il servizio eccellente sia a livello di preparazione che di cortesia. il menù con piatti di carne e pesce ti invitato, dopo aver provato anche il solo antipasto, a tornare per assaggiare i piatti che non puoi gustarti in una sola serata, lo stesso dicasi della lista dei vini. Fa anche piacere riscontrare che il general manager ed un collaboratore base sono italiani; tutto perfetto. Complimenti!

Even if you just sit outside at the tables facing the Limmat River, you will get a great selection of food presented by friendly servers. This is one of the best places in Zürich to just watch the world go by. If you are in the mood for a more elaborate meal, Haus zum Ruden can also do that - and all of their special-event rooms feature excellent views, and depending on which direction you look it's either a view of the Grossmunster church or of the river. Honestly, you can't go wrong -- this place has great food, great drinks and great service in a beautiful, historic setting.

Sehr angenehme Ambiente und schöner Saal. Tische fein gedeckt. Persönliche nette Bedienung. Wir kommen wieder.

Ausgezeichnete Bewirtung im 'Rüdenstübli' mit malerischem Blick auf das beleuchtete Grossmünster und Limmatufer. - Attraktives, unterteilbares Degustations-Menue mit Weinempfehlung. - Sehr freundlicher, zielgerichteter Service, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. - Zu erwähnen ist, dass die Weinkarte sehr reichhaltig ist, preislich aber 'den Boden' nicht verliert. Fazit: Für unsere Familienfeier der ideale Rahmen.

Il n’y a rien de mal à cet endroit, rien. La nourriture et le service sont excellents et si elle l’atmosphère. Je vais revenir ici encore à essayer de nouvelles choses sur le menu.

Jolie restaurant manger en terrasse côté de la Limmat très calme pour être en plein centre ville de Zürich (passage de tram et Taxi) Repas très bon et très bon service à recommander !!!

We had dinner as a table of four and had a very nice meal. The service was impeccable, the wine list substantial and the food delicious. We ate al fresco and were able to people watch and enjoy the trams pass by along the Limmat river and located in teh Old Town or Zurich the patio dining features beautiful views of the historic city and churches. Open at 11:30 for lunch until 22:00 and are closed on Sundays. I had the Weiner Schnitzel with fries and it was very good.

L’esperienza che abbiamo avuto in questo ristorante è di quelle che capitano una volta nella vita! A seguito di un fraintendimento con la prenotazione arriviamo quando il ristorante ha appena terminato il servizio del pranzo (ore 14). Va bene, ci possiamo accomodare al bar, dove il menu è più ridotto ma pazienza...a quel punto arriva il proprietario che con insistenza ci porta nella sala ristorante e ci offre la possibilità di pranzare li! Che dire, avevamo la sala tutta per noi, è stato bellissimo!! Il menu ovviamente era quello per niente ridotto del bar e davvero eccellente, torneremo sicuramente a Zurigo solo per avere il piacere di cenare all’Haus zum Rueden! This is for years a solidly excellent, traditional restaurant. Food is excellent, service similarly. Must be one of the last restaurants in Zurich that still serves second helping - at least last time I visited this place. Can only recommend, if you want a quiet, high class evening with no surprises.

we went here it was a very pleasant evening there were three young ladies performing operas and the sound quality was astonishingly good the catering was also very good and we had a very good evening

Da ich schon länger dieses Restaurant mit den spitzen Bewertungen ausprobieren wollte, haben ich und meine Kollegin bei einem Abendspaziergang und einem Hüngerchen spontan entschlossen, da gerade ein Plätzchen frei war, mal im Haus zum Rüden zu speisen. Am Anfang war der Kellner sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir hatten sehr schnell die bestellten Getränke sowie Speisekarte, die zwar etwas mager war, aber auf jeden Fall potential hatte. Manchmal ist sicher weniger mehr und Ich nehme mal an, dass die Menus auch regelmässig geändert werden. Auch auf das Essen mussten wir nicht all zu lange warten und es war zwar schmackhaft und gut angerichtet, aber nicht sonderlich abweichend von anderen gewissen Restaurants in Zürich, ausser das Ambiente natürlich. Leider liess die Aufmerksamkeit des Services im Verlauf des abends etwas nach. Sehr lange Wartezeit bis man überhaupt nochmals Getränke bestellen konnte und die Rechnung liess ewig lange auf sich warten. Beim 4ten mal Fragen und nach gut 20min hat es dann doch noch geklappt. Man sieht ja meisstens nicht alles, was gerade alles getan werden muss, jedoch erschien es einem in diesem Augenblick ein bisschen unkoordiniert und bei den Preisen, erwarte ich doch etwas mehr.Fazit...sehr schöner Ort zum Speisen, ob mit Freundin, Freunden, geschäftich. Leider blieb aber die leicht erwartete Begeisterung bei mir und meiner Kollegin aus.
