Perfect for a quick, uncomplicated meal, but not for leisurely enjoyment. We had barely finished the starter when the main course was already served, too quick for dinner. Food good, nothing special. What wasn't right for us was that we had to pay separately for the side dishes and didn't even receive them separately in a quantity that was appropriate for the price, but instead had a mini quantity on our plate for that price. The vegetables on the side were overcooked.

Unfortunately the reservation didn't work. Food is not freshly cooked. Tastes strongly of warmed ready meals. Large portions prepared without love. The service didn't really speak German. The innkeeper's sayings are more reminiscent of an entertainer from a holiday resort.

Despite the limited space, something was quickly made available for us. The food is, as always, very good and arrived quickly despite the very full restaurant. Absolutely recommended.

Fr. 34.00, it's really a shame that I didn't take a photo as proof, it was never 160g in my life, at most 80g, it was a schnitzel a la minute and maybe the last piece in the kitchen and that was cut into 3 strips, and There wasn't much left on the salad either, and it was on a rectangular fondue plate. Pork steak 250gr. Fr. 19.80 homemade spaetzli Fr. 6.50 the meat was a bit tough, I think the sole of a shoe is more tender. The food wasn't bad but unfortunately I expected more

Ordered a cordonbleu (pork) I've definitely had better ones when it comes to meat, including pork of course. It was rather chewy and I didn't like it that much. Everyone has different tastes. The cheese should definitely be replaced. Didn't fit at all. I would recommend a more intense variety. I can't say anything negative about the amount of cheese. It was very crowded. Fries were delicious.

Me and my friend had to wait over an hour for our food, I got the wrong drink and the bill was also wrong, but the food was great.

After being a client here for the past 6 years I think it’s ridiculous they charged me for a glass of tap water 4.20 francs! And the response from the waitress was that the boss wants it like that. It’s a pitty to start losing clients for this reason. How can you charge 4.20 for a glass of tap water. Ridiculous!

For me a typical 🇨🇭 pub. Also known locally as “Stützli füfzg”. This is also where the 'Büezer' goes for a snack. Sandwiches are prepared to order. Home-style menu. Dining room with large tables, Sääli with smaller tables, smoking room where you can also eat and drink. Price/performance is right!

When we ordered something ourselves, the platter was served - 5 minutes before the actual meal. A pity. Things like this shouldn't happen and made the slightly drunk host look a bit stupid.

METZGETEZYT! Spent a pleasant, fun evening in the Hecht in November, together with friends (gentlemen in a wheelchair.) We were welcomed in a very friendly and helpful manner and were treated to attention and fine food “just Metzgete” throughout the evening. And all this with a FULL house of hungry and thirsty guests! The joy of being able to enjoy a special day away from home was great! A big thank you to ALL the “helpers” in the house!! @n/a

The garden terrace is very nice. We often eat an ice cream or frappe there in the summer. It's a bit noisy inside and not that comfortable. We had to wait a long time to eat. Drinks or dessert were forgotten and you had to order them again several times...
