The path that leads to the Hütte is magnificent, beautiful. Too bad it was closed

The scenery is beautiful, but it takes two hours to walk, and the mountain road goes up, so it is very tiring. From the Internet, we saw that there would be more than a dozen exhibits introducing Heidi’s story along the road, but we only found a few, and most of them were demolished. I don’t really recommend this place.

Heidihutte is closed and it is quite difficult to get there, as they only allow access on foot and the path is quite difficult. It's a beautiful place but when you go look for Heidi's house, there are umbrellas and other accessories that have nothing to do with it. It was a little disappointing, especially after such a difficult journey.

Great ambience and it still looks exactly as you would imagine. Not overcrowded due to the hiking trail. Is a dreamlike alpine pasture.

A very nice Alm. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had a very nice stay there and would love to come back. From Heididorf you can reach the Alm in about 1.5 - 2 hours via a good path.

Magically involve you in the context of the story taken from Heidi, a very fascinating environment suitable for all ages, breathtaking view and the illustration of the environment is very suggestive, if you then want to enjoy the pure meaning of Heidi's life with no less than an hour of walk from the village you can enjoy the view of your grandfather at the foot of the real peaks of the Alps, a panorama that is lost in the gray Swiss plains, very suggestive here too..... It was great to climb up to reach Heidi's cabin. Amazing views. A pleasant surprise, despite the hut being closed (we arrived late in the afternoon), sweetened drinks were left to quench our thirst after the hike, of course for a fee left in the designated place.

Small alpine hut with a manageable menu. Very tasty alpine cheese! Prices for drinks are quite high at 5 francs.

Place that has to be reached on foot, the path is good. The treatment is excellent, Bettina treated us very well. We were able to fly our drone and capture some beautiful photos. I recommend to everyone who is in the area.

I don't recommend it... everything has been redone, there is nothing original left, only the lawns around it, otherwise just a business; many closed and narrow spaces, no one asks for a green pass and most visitors are without masks. A small booklet in Italian, everything else: labels, videos etc. not translated... long live the welcome.

You could do more with the Heidi story. We were disappointed.

It's called Heidialp but doesn't want to have anything to do with the Heidi story, so it's good if you can have the whole story in the Heidi Museum and Alpine hut in the valley. You can get a glass of water for less money in the Heidi Museum or then a real meal in the Heidihof...

We were at Heidialp Ochsenberg last Saturday. I was thrilled by the beautiful view. The service is also very friendly and recommended ☀️👍

You must visit and experience the Heidi trail.

One for the location and one for the route. The goal is not always reached when you get to the top. With a family, quenching your thirst becomes expensive. It's a shame that at the end of the Heidiweg there is no place for a picnic where you could enjoy the view or toilets so that everyone doesn't leave their business in the forest... The climb is still free, but who knows what the enterprising mountain people plan to do with Heidi. ..

Sehr einladendes Lokal. Man sitzt an langen Holztischen, von weidenden Kühen umgeben. Die Karte ist einfach, kleine Brotzeiten: Wurst vom Grill, Alpkäse, Trockenfleisch. Schmeckte alles ganz gut. Das Wirtepaar war sehr freundlich. Sehr gute sanitäre Anlagen, was auf längeren Wanderungen sehr geschätzt wird ......

There is a beautiful hiking trail up and the Heidihütte is catered for! Friendly service. Cheese sale of fine Alpine cheese.

Small but nice with a humorous host. You also have a great view here and the climb can be done in just over an hour. Recommended especially when the weather is good: as befits the Heidihütte, there is only one table inside!

It's a wonderful place between the mountains and meadows, practically the same as grandfather's house in the cartoon. It's a shame that it is now under private management which, unlike the buildings down in town, uses it only as a restaurant and does not allow access. However, there is reconstruction down in the town.

I drank some mineral water on the Alm to refresh myself, the water was totally warm for €5 or Fr. They said there was no electricity but then I noticed that all the cold drinks were in a spring water fountain for the same price. I would never go to this Alm again and then that was what it said it is NOT the original Heidi Alm. I'm totally disappointed!!!

Cozy, very pretty for small and large mid strollers

As you climb, you will find a beautiful mountain full of tall trees with wide meadow spaces around it. This meadow is so green, it evokes happiness. You can see the mountains in their maximum splendor. ~Dandelions~ on the road, which is solid and comfortable with the right asphalt, sources of natural and fresh water, signs in English and German indicating the route, games to stimulate the senses and cause entertainment. A not tedious uphill climb, on the contrary. Animals loose in their habitat as it should be in the rest of the world, prisons are not for the innocent. The house is impressive, made of wood with a slate roof. Cut wood gathered on the façade, informative signs inside, a staircase of course, made of wood and unique details represented in the series. I didn't know ~Heidi~ also ate corn! Of course, there is another building further down. House, museum and stable. If you don't like hiking, it's better not to go. Pleasant memories. 5/5. *****

Very nice owner. Friendly owner. Humorous owner. Arrived here after seeing Heididorf and hiking for 2 hours. I drink a glass of water and a cola and take a rest. The friendly owner said that the author of the Heidi novel wrote it here. He also showed us the interior space. He said it was built 200 years ago.

The Heidihütte can be reached after a beautiful, fairly easy hike along a freight path. Along the way you will always find stops where you can find out information from Heidi's story. The Heidihütte on the Heidialp is a small alpine hut that could have come straight from the films, beautifully located on the alp with the trees behind it. At the hut you can fortify yourself with a snack before you (usually) descend back into the valley feeling refreshed.

We recommend. The view of the valley makes you completely forget the climb 😊🍻

Good hospitality and very nice views.

This is a simple restaurant in the mountains at a hutte in Heisgialp. The best scenery will greet you. We ate sausages, drank beer, and enjoyed the scenery. Even though we eat the same thing, it tastes especially delicious here. The owner is also friendly and welcoming. The information board says you can walk there and back in 2 hours, but it usually takes about 3 hours. It takes some time to take a break at a restaurant in a hutte. The road is winding, sometimes paved, sometimes unpaved, but it is a wide road used by agricultural vehicles. I only met a few people on the street, but there were about 20 people in the restaurant. It's good for people who like mountain climbing, but it's not a long walk. At several places along the way, scenes from Heidi's story are carved out of wood, and there are explanatory notes. They are so much fun.

Nach der langen Heidi-Weg-Wanderung konnten wir uns hier Ausruhen, inmitten der Natur. Ein kühles Bier, ein feines Plättli und einem gratis Schnäpsli zum Geburtstag meines Mannes rundeten diesen Besuch ab. Die Aussicht ist mega. Man fühlt sich wirklich ein wenig wie Heidi :)

Wir waren mit dem Kids nach einer 3h Wanderung hier etwas essen. Die Preise sind etwas hoch, jedoch mit der Logistik absolut gerechtfertigt. Tolle Aussicht bis nach Chur.

Very nice location and view in Heidi's mountains (: The alp itself is very small. Little choice on the menu. The way to the alp isn't really exciting either. The 3 stars are mainly for the landscape.

If you come all the way to Maienfeld, it's definitely worth the trip. It's great to have a light snack after climbing a mountain and feeling tired both physically and mentally. There is no electricity in the hut and there is no refrigerator, so even if you order a cold drink, it will be lukewarm, but that's a charm. The people working at the hut were also kind and by chance gave me a ride to Heididorf.

Nice hike to get to the top. Too bad you can't see inside the shack as it is private. Also little choice of desserts. I would have liked to enjoy a nice ice cream sundae but instead I had to return to the hotel near Heidi Dorf

ハイジの家のモデルのようですが、カフェになってます！軽食？もありそうでしたが、ドイツ語なのでなにがあるかは分かりませんでした！ハイジドルフ（ハイジ村）から山を登り1時間30分くらいかかり、めちゃくちゃ疲れます！帰りは下りなのでハイジドルフまでは1時間10分くらいでつきました。往復3時間近くかかりますが、時間があるかたは是非

Immersed in nature in the true sense of the term. A very quiet restaurant that makes the atmosphere its strong point. The food is typical of the area. Meats cooked in various ways and side dishes. The quality of the raw materials is good, the preparation is simple but successful. Children can play freely on the lawns while parents eat peacefully. Prices are good

The place is definitely not worth a visit. There is no food or view, and the owners claim that it is better than the Heidi Museum. Walking for an hour or more at the rise and the same at the descent is a failed experience for me. And the star is too many for him 🤬🤬🤬

Friendly, attentive service, the only point of criticism is that the signage needs to be updated (travel times). But a great experience.

It's a very nice place...With very friendly and fine hospitality

It was a wonderful trip, but it bothers me that the hut is not a museum, but rather haunted, and I was prevented from going up to Heidi’s room.

The Heidihütte is simply a normal mountain pub with compulsory consumption. People with sandwiches have to eat on the lawn in front of the house. There is nothing in the hut that reminds us of Heidi and Alpöhi. Why this mountain restaurant can even call itself “Heidihütte” on the official map is a mystery to me.

A beautiful hiking trail leads to the Heidi Hut at 1111m altitude. There you will be warmly welcomed and looked after by the host couple! We recommend the Zvieri platter and a white wine followed by the hut coffee and the nut cake 🤣 simply heavenly - we would love to come back! Thank you very much for everything! Ps - there is even a great toilet on site - we didn't expect so much luxury! 👍🏻

Worth a trip. By bike or on foot. The path leads either through a beautiful deciduous forest, which provides coolness, especially in summer, or directly across the pastures. Once at the top, you have a beautiful view.

Nice landlady, simple but lovingly designed menu and a breathtaking view. As a family hiking destination from Heididörfli, it is rather cross-country but doable. Attention: Inquire about the opening times in the Heididörflis shop beforehand.

The best I've had in Switzerland. The food is also local food.

We pass through the narrow path behind Heidi's house and continue climbing. It's a straight road so I don't think you'll get lost. Since it is located halfway up the mountain, there are no groups of tourists, so you can enjoy a pleasant hike.

A model of the so-called "Onji's house (mountain hut)". It takes about 2 hours to climb the mountain path from Heididorf below. The views from the mountain path along the way are also spectacular, so if you're visiting Maienfeld, you should definitely come here.

No area for picnicking and very small seating area

A child must not have seen it. Expectations for children are not met. But in this case the journey is the destination.
