Tastes are different, there's no arguing that. I cannot and do not want to rate a mushroom sauce with an incredible 0 (!) mushrooms as good. Burgers very dry. The advertised district-beizli charm is more like that of a canteen. But what you like is a matter of taste.

Went outside for lunch when the weather was nice... friendly service... good fitness plate with chicken... and offered as dessert... soft ice cream in a glass... and lots of flowers... We were completely satisfied.

We were your guests this Sunday (July 23rd, 2023) and were very spoiled with good food and great service. I was impressed by the many homemade dishes that can be consumed on site. We'll definitely come back, even if we don't live nearby. Kind regards from Solothurn.

We were there for the first time, a nice welcome and very friendly service, the food was so delicious. We recommend.

Restaurant with a large garden terrace, clean. Inside I was greeted very kindly by the boss cellarer S.L. received. Menu 2, Süppli as a starter, main course egg nüdeli with pork starter and some vegetables. Portion exactly in perfect size. The taste is A+, the kitchen is sparkling clean, the country needs chefs like that. A coffee and the newspaper for dessert, price 22.50 CHF. Yes, what more could you want.

Just outside of Uster in the Gschwader district. The journey there is worth it, there is always something nice.

Für diesen spontanen Aufenthalt konnten wir unbeschwert einen freundlich bedienten und gut bekochten Abend geniessen.Ich hatte, BeefTatar und zum Hauptgang das Schweinshalssteak mit Pommes, Gemüse und Kräuterbutter. Tatar: aufmerksam nachgefragt wegem schärfegrad und was dazu serviert wird.Der Toast ist an vielen Orten mangelhaft, hier jedoch richtig getoasted, nicht trocken und auch nicht kalt sondern schön lauwarm.Schweinshalssteak: Gut gewürzt und schön angebraten so, dass auch ein schöner Röstgeschmack entstand.Komplett durchgebraten aber nicht trocken. So wie es sein muss. Pommes: Heiss, knusprig, nicht übersalzen. Gemüse: leicht abgeschmeckt, für meinen Geschmack könnte es schön glasiert sein, dann würde es nicht "trocken". Aussehen nach ein paar Minuten. Aber überhaupt nicht schlecht, gut gegart mit noch ein bisschen Biss. Noch eine grüne Komponente beim Gemüse wäre das i Pünktchen. Ein Bier dazu und 4cl Rum mit einer Kugel Caramellglace zum Abschluss, ein sehr angenehmer Abend, empfehlenswert und Preis/Leistung stimmt definitiv.Vielen Dank und weiter so!!! :D

Wir haben das Garten-Restaurant genossen. Grossszügig überdeckt. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen hat sehr geschmeckt. Grüner Salat, Schnitzel und Pommes sowie der Heimat-Burger waren vorzüglich. Erwähnenswert ist die feine, leicht scharfe Sauce zum Burger. Der Abschluss war ein sehr guter Espresso. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen!!!
