We would like to thank Restaurant Buech again. We celebrated our engagement in the “Paradiesli” winery hut. From the decoration to the service and the food, everything was just perfect. We had a wonderful day with our closest family and everyone raved. The reservation and communication was uncomplicated and was very much appreciated by us. Highly recommended for small celebrations or events! Thanks!

We eat at this restaurant often and absolutely love it. It has a fantastic view and a wonderful outdoor patio. They also have a great “hunting cabin” that you can reserve for special occasions. The service team is very kind and attentive. Give it a try if you are looking for something nearby.

We wanted to have a coffee on the panoramic hike from Erlenbach to Fekdbach. Unfortunately we were turned away with the flimsy argument that it was a restaurant and you couldn't just have a drink. The restaurant was half empty, hence the attitude was incomprehensible and not customer oriented. Customers who do not consume expensive goods are not wanted. Very unfortunate; the restaurant should be taken off the list!

The menu offering is poor, nothing special, average...too expensive for that. Staff = weak, no elegance, more of a bar reception…average, can be improved. The Oet is very, very beautiful… what a shame!

We came at 14.15 and they said they are closed although officially it says they close at 15.00. We asked multiple people if we can at least have a drink and were rejected. There were free places both outside and inside. There are many other great places in Switzerland where you can have a great time instead of killing your mood with this attitude. Don’t recommend.

This place is absolutely beautiful from the setting to the view. The service is one the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere. The food is absolutely delicious enough that I drove 1 and a half hours just to experience it. Highly recommend the very spicy beef tartare if you can handle the heat. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, coming from Florida in the USA this place was what I imagined a great Swiss restaurant to look and feel and taste like. Please give them a try if you’re interested I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Unfortunately the service is/was a complete disaster for this price range! Wrong aperitif, wrong wine and wrong dessert. Only the main course could have been delivered incorrectly.

This restaurant is an absolute gem. Starting with the excellent service, all the waiters have been incredibly friendly, until the delicious food! I can absolutely recommend the octopus carpaccio, the fish and the desserts were incredible too. On top of it all, the location and the views are absolutely breathtaking, you feel right in the middle of nature while being really close to Zurich.

The restaurant was rather poorly attended at lunchtime, but we couldn't drink anything and were immediately turned away because it was purely a "dining restaurant". OK, we went to a restaurant that also warmly welcomed customers "just for a drink". Me and my girlfriend wanted to have a nice meal there, but not anymore.

We were on the terrace in summer. Fantastic location with a view over Lake Zurich, very good food and courteous service. Absolute recommendation.

We spent a wonderful evening in the book! The service was simply great - I haven't experienced that in a long time! We had the pulpo salad as a starter and the cordon bleu as the main course - a poem. The cheese just flowed out and even our dessert request "Affogato" (which wasn't on the menu) was fulfilled and served wonderfully. And of course the view is priceless! Due to the construction site, it wasn't that easy with the parking spaces, but things should improve from September... Thank you very much, dear Buech team - we will come back as soon as possible.

Beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view of Lake Zurich. Everything we had was fabulously prepared. The service was very attentive and you just felt comfortable. The only thing that could be improved is the selection of open wines.

Regarding table reservations. Apparently it's not quite worked in (yet). Additionally, there is still a railing missing to get to the beautiful terrace. Food and service excellent!

Great weather, great view, nice service and top food. The two soups are a real treat for the eye and the palate, beautifully presented and fantastic in taste, the beetroot, the curry cream, the corn soup with mango, special but wonderful. The main courses are also excellent and have to be enjoyed.

You could at least make the effort to indicate in the opening times that the restaurant is closed for renovations. Instead, you can make a reservation as normal and then find yourself in front of the closed door. At least the management apologized via email.

One of our favorite restaurants. No matter whether in winter in the cozy living room, in summer in the garden with a fantastic view or on special occasions in a little hut - it is always a pleasure in the Buech. The food tastes extremely good and the service is very attentive and friendly. We'd love to come back.

We had dinner at Restaurant Buech on December 22nd, 2022. The map is manageable, just the way I like it. Less is usually more. The ambience is enchanting and recommended. The service was good but a bit intrusive. We ordered a loup de mere. The quality was good, the quantity was plentiful and home-style food, even if the finesse was missing. Negative though: The fish was really, really badly filleted. I lost the fun because of all the bones. Maybe we'll come back after reopening in spring 2023 and give it a second chance.

The restaurant is worth the trek. The decor is very cozy. They have lovely artwork on the wall, including ones from famous artists. When the weather is good, the view is an excellent view of the lake. In the summer, they have outdoor seating. The food is delicious. Especially the cordon bleu. The pumpkin soup is excellent with pumpkin oil. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The food is quite okay, which I didn't like, the service staff petted the dogs at the next table (they were regulars) and then served us the food without washing their hands; Given the prices, that's not possible in my opinion...

A dream of a restaurant. An amazing view of the vineyard and Lake Zurich. The restaurant is also very, very nice. The food is crazy. Simply culinary delights. The service is simply great. Anyone who likes to go out for a fine and exclusive meal simply wants to be pampered. However, you should reserve in advance.

You have to know the Buech restaurant because it is located in an elevated location in Herrliberg in a green idyll. Nevertheless, it is fully booked well in advance. Rightly so! We have visited twice now. The view, the location, the staff, the food and ambience leave nothing to be desired. The book has mastered the art of combining fine, exclusive cuisine and down-to-earthness. If you go to the book, you should plan enough time, because you could enjoy this view for hours. But it wasn't quite enough for five points, as the menu on the second visit unfortunately didn't quite suit our taste. Nevertheless, it was very good and we would like to come back!

A very special place with a wonderful view over Lake Zurich. The lettuce with the house dressing was a poem. Rather small portions. In my opinion, the men didn't have enough.

Nothing to fault in the small and cozy restaurant. The dining room is small, with a countryside decoration. The view is great, but unfortunately we couldn’t sit outside due to rainy weather. The staff was friendly and easy. The food was very good (service was very quick): we had the beef tartare, the soup and the sea bream. Despite having many ingredients and colors on the plate, the dishes come together nicely. Wine list is ok, with maybe some weight on Spanish red wines. In any case, highly recommended.

In every sense, a gorgeous restaurant! Most friendly service, very high quality cuisine, together with a dream-like atmosphere, it is much more than dining: it is a real adventure in the most positive sense of the word!

Dine with a fantastic view of nature - the mountains, Lake Zurich and lush green meadows. Very courteous service. I had a hard time choosing the dishes - everything sounded very interesting. As a starter: The best tartare I've had so far! I will definitely come back the next time I visit Zurich.
