Nice restaurant. It is especially wonderful to sit on the terrace. Great view. Nice service, very quick and courteous. The food tastes good. Unfortunately, the entrecote didn't convince me. It was a bit tough. Even with the Zurich Geschnetzelte, the meat wasn't of the best quality. It's a shame, maybe a better butcher could be found.

Great restaurant, wonderful location, beautiful garden, boss in the kitchen, boss in service, friendly and very well trained staff. You can feel the good working atmosphere and feel very comfortable and well looked after as a guest. Always my pleasure.

It was a culinary highlight from the starter to the main course to the dessert and finally a great espresso. Of course also great service, keep it up. It's a pleasure every time. Thank you.

It's a bit noisy when the restaurant is full

Food was good, but not in keeping with the ambience, service and general presentation. Service was very friendly. He was happy to accept requests and always had enough to drink ;) View was wonderful. Also the most unusual toilets I had ever seen up to that point.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! At our wedding party (55 people) in the Hertenstein Restaurant, we and our guests were pampered from A to Z! From the uncomplicated preparation in advance (tour, menu discussion) to the service/ambience in the evening itself: everything was perfect. The warmth, passion and professionalism of the Ettisberger family and the entire team is noticeable and you simply feel comfortable and welcome. We will definitely come back and can wholeheartedly recommend the Restaurant Hertenstein!

The food is very good. The wine list anyway. Very friendly and attentive staff. The dining room is well filled on weekends. The vegetarian food is also very good. But could do with 1-2 more dishes to choose from.

Super nice restaurant of a slightly higher class, with the best panoramic view over the entire city of Baden (from the window seat) and despite the excellent ambience, all working classes are welcome, whether in craftsmen's clothing or in a noble banker's suit, everyone gets a place, if possible even without advance reservation. The dishes are served in a hood and are excellent according to the price.

For a special occasion we chose to visit the Hertenstein panoramic restaurant. In advance, after consulting with the restaurant, I brought a small table decoration as a surprise for my friend. The table was beautifully decorated on the evening in question and the surprise was absolutely successful. The food was outstanding, the staff very friendly and attentive. We were suggested the daily recommendation, which was excellent!

Sensationally good food like I haven't eaten in a very long time!

There isn't a restaurant I can recommend more. I was probably in the right place at the right time. 30 minutes before the restaurant opened, I asked a very nice and helpful employee in the empty parking lot if it was still open today. To which she replied: “unfortunately fully booked”, but she could ask. She immediately did everything she could to find it in the restaurant - first asked the manager and then the boss and came out the door again beaming - "There is still a place, but only for a short time." (for 2 hours). I have rarely been so impressed by the staff, who guide the guests to the table, rehearse 3-course menus and are also open to short dialogues. Not to mention the cuisine, which conjures up a fascinating taste experience on your plate with naturally fragrant ingredients and fresh food. And the ambience in country house style, with varied tables and a unique view of the little town of Baden. By the way, it's worth visiting the bathroom here; it has a moss ceiling and you feel like you're in a forest. The flambéed saddle of venison is a very special experience. This is prepared, flambéed, cut and served by the chef personally at the guests' table. Thank you for the great evening, these 2 hours will be remembered for a long time.

This restaurant is very nicely located. The staff put a lot of effort into it. The food was creatively presented and prepared with care. I felt very well. In my opinion, some of the dishes are medium to high priced; However, this seems to me to be justified overall.

We visited the establishment Wednesday 2nd August. Staff really friendly, helpful and service minded. The restaurant itself is spacious, not noisy, good space between tables. One quite important part for a restaurant is the food. It was me, my wife and daughter of 5 years. We didn't like the food at all...we loved it. The presentation, the structure, the taste, only one word to say wow, they really know how to satisfy the taste buds and send the perfect signal to the brain. Food excellent, wine great and my daughter (well all of us) loved to taste from the cheese they offered to try. In top of all my daughter had paper and drawing equipment, that was great so mum and dad can relax. And thanks for the special birthday cake for my wife. Well done.

Our wedding dinner in Hertenstein was an absolute highlight! Each of our four courses was excellently prepared and presented. I attended a wedding there. The restaurant has a beautiful terrace with a view of Baden. Getting there was a little complicated with the Google Maps navigation system. The food was tasty.

The food was excellent, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. The wait for the food took two hours for those without an appetizer, which is definitely too long. We also found the waiting times to be above average. We were also bothered by the constant asking for more drinks, which we sometimes found to be too intrusive.

We chose the Panorama Restaurant Hertenstein in Ennetbaden for a friend's birthday dinner. If you want to reserve a table at the window for Saturday evening, you have to reserve it a few weeks in advance as the restaurant is always fully booked. The welcome in the restaurant was very warm. The entrance area is stylishly decorated. As soon as we arrived at the table, the service employee listed the daily menu and various classics with the corresponding wine recommendations. For starters, we chose the starter plate with graved salmon, mushroom wonton, bresaola with apricot chutney and house-smoked trout tartare made from birch peat. The quality and the plate arrangement was excellent. The price/performance ratio is right here. For the main course there was the Châteaubriand (double beef fillet served carved at the table) with freshly whipped Béarnaise sauce, a rich selection of vegetables and potato gratin. We ordered the meat with a cooking level of saignant (rare). We also ordered minced meat and stroganoff. Unfortunately we received the meat with a cooking level of medium. After 20 minutes the meat arrived at the correct cooking level. To accompany the main course, we chose an open Spanish red wine, Ensayos Capitales 2020. For dessert we had various clace (bourbon vanilla, sour cream) and a small coupe colonel. The birthday child received a beautifully decorated dessert plate. Coffee and grappa rounded off this evening. The evening for four people ultimately cost us 470.- When we looked through the bills, we discovered that we didn't receive a reduction in either dessert or coffee for the faux pas with the meat. At this point we would like to make a small concession. I would like an apology when saying goodbye.

Not a big map but the content is perfect. Food was super tasty (smoked lamb rump) A modern ambience in a large hall look awaits you in a very harmonious atmosphere. Staff very friendly, accommodating and attentive. You can really tell that they enjoy their work and do it with passion. As a tip: A place at the Panorama Front is worth it.

Amazing food. Even the salad was delicious. The service was one of the best I ever had. Many waiters and waitresses that give you a lot of attention and give you recommendations. It is a beautiful place, with a wonderful view and a super cute entrance. Recommendable!

It was a nice experience. The ambient is pleasant, service is courteous but somehow slow. It took an hour between dishes also to get my first glass of wine. The english menu was much smaller and even different than the original one. As a vegetarian I felt left out during the appetizer. The food was tasty also the desert. I was only disappointed with the main dish. It was rice with vegetables, and too sweet for my taste. My colleague did not finish his veal because it was undercooked. They should have asked how he wanted it. Overall experience was good, but a bit too pricey.

Great view, great food, great experience. It definitely worthed the trouble of climbing so many stairs from Baden downtown. For those who don't like climbing the stairs, can drive by car till the restaurant.
