Very nice and quaint restaurant with great service and very good food.

-Very nice restaurant at the top of the hill with wonderful views. -Excellent atmosphere, we felt very comfortable. -The waitress went out of her way to ensure we had a lovely evening. -The home-style cooking was excellent, a huge compliment to the kitchen too We are already looking forward to our next visit to the Heubode!

I discovered the hayloft on a hike from Sternenberg to Saland. Beautiful garden spot.

Super tasty: fresh meat from the grill. Beef, veal and pork from our own farm. Delicious chicken and other delicacies for dessert. The service is warm from the family business, consisting of 3 generations (grandparents, parents and children). The atmosphere was perfect, outside under the awning, with sunset and then a distant view of fireworks, ideal for our company outing with 40 people.

Heubode was closed, unfortunately. But there was self-service. That's why Boris beer and I soure Moscht. Refreshing!

Probably the best butcher shop in the Winterthur area. The crispy Rösti is an insider tip. The quality of the meat is very good. A must for everyone who wants to enjoy a fine butcher's steak!

Pleasant atmosphere in the tent. Today was Metzgete. A black pudding was served with hash browns and sauerkraut. For dessert there is a homemade burnt cream. given. The restaurant is from the world in the Manzenhueb above Tablat near Wila.

We stayed next door at the Manzenhub farm with our ponies and never thought we would be treated to such culinary delights. On Sunday we even got a rich, regional gourmet breakfast, something we never expected! Very warm people and great solution with the heated tent! (Oh yes, and the pumpkin and Riesling soups are simply divine...)

Wir waren mit einem Freundespaar zur "Metzgte" im Heuboden.Es war Weltklasse, Preisleistung top, Qualität regional hervorragend, sehr freundlicher Service, wirklich Kompliment an ALLE.Wir hatten grosse Freude, wie junge Menschen mit so viel Herzblut eine "Beiz" führen. Am Schluss haben wir noch regionale, hausgemachte Köstlichkeiten im Hofeggä eingekauft.

The Heubode restaurant, which has been family-run by Regula and Josua for around 4 years, is an insider tip for home cooking gourmets. The Stübli, furnished with a lot of charm and attention to detail, as well as the finely selected dishes with meat and vegetables, mainly from our own farm, skilfully round off the visit. It will certainly not be the last time we as a family enjoy a culinary delight here. Keep it up and say hello to the great cook!

Den Heubode können wir wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Die Menüs sind liebevoll zubereitet und wunderschön ins Detail präsentiert. Das Ambiente ist wunderbar und die Gaststube sehr schön und immer saisonal dekoriert.Ob ein geselliges Raclette à discretion im Gnüsser-Hüsli oder ein spontaner Besuch – im Heubode isst man einfach gut und gerne und wird auf allen Ebenen verwöhnt. Der Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse ist super – denn unten im Tal sieht man die Sonne nie so wunderschön untergehen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Very authentic restaurant, beautifully located above Wila, totally in the countryside with seasonal and, above all, regional dishes. Very high quality cuisine with meat from our own farm. The food is beautifully prepared and the service is top. The host couple and staff are very attentive and offer wonderful service. You feel very comfortable and welcome. We always enjoy coming to the hayloft.

Es gab 'Hofeigenen Burger mit Speck'. Dazu Brötli von der Bäckerei Janz (Wila) und Käse aus der Käserei Preisig (Sternenberg). Das ganze mit hausgemachten Ofenkartoffeln.Das Essen war ein Traum und wir konnten bei der Zubereitung zusehen weil die Küche ein Teil dieses bodenständigen Familienbetriebes ist. Das Geheimnis ist die Frische. Immer wieder ein Hochgenuss - freue mich schon auf die nächste Wanderung zum Heubode!

Das Essen wahr hervorragend. Die Bedienung wahr sehr gut, wir wahren etwa 90 Gäste, es wurden alle ohne lange Wartezeiten bedient. Sogar die 2 Cars konnten Parkieren, an dieser Tösstaler ausserwacht.
