10/13/23: Exactly a year since our first visit to the Hirschen, we had lunch today - outside in bright sunshine and wonderful autumn/summer weather at 24°. The quality of the food and the service remain excellent! An excellent country inn! We experienced a successful culinary summer evening in a cozy ambience in the garden. The staff is authentic, local, humorous, attentive, committed - you can tell that the team works! The food was super delicious! We had various combinations from the menu, everything was tastefully prepared and a pleasure. All in all a culinary treat that is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare! Again any time!

Great restaurant in an old farmhouse with a beautiful view of the Emmental. Very well-kept operation and professional (but well-positioned) service in a nice atmosphere. Inexpensive lunch menu. What particularly struck us was how beautifully the food was prepared - professionals at work simply make a positive difference! Gladly again!

A pleasure for the senses! As a guest at the Hirschen I had an unforgettable experience. The ambience of the restaurant is inviting and cozy, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. As soon as I entered I was warmly greeted and immediately felt welcome. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes and I found it hard to decide. Finally I decided on the daily menu and I was not disappointed. It was simply incredibly delicious! The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality, and the preparation was perfect. Every bite was a true taste experience. In addition to the great food, I would also like to praise the staff. They were not only attentive, but also very friendly and helpful. The service was simply excellent. The restaurant was busy, but the atmosphere was still pleasant and relaxed. It was noticeable that a lot of attention was paid to details here, from the presentation of the dishes to the quality of the service. I felt like a valued guest and was completely pampered. Great guesthouse in a wonderful natural setting. The restaurant has various rooms, a shady garden and a seasonal menu. All the food and drinks served tasted excellent, were generously portioned and fairly priced. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great location, friendly service, delicious food

Although the description of this restaurant says “suitable for vegetarians”, this is unfortunately not the case: my partner and I have just received a rejection from this restaurant on our request for a vegetarian meal for a baptism party of 25-30 people. The reply email said that vegetarian food was not “their core competency” and that they had “decided” that they were “the wrong restaurant for it” and “didn’t want to do our food”. When we asked again whether they could please prepare the vegetarian menu “Chässpätzli” that they offer on their menu for us, they did not respond, but replied that “other catering teams are better suited for it” and “this one “The restaurant wasn’t the right one” for us. Wow, I'm really speechless!

We came to this beautiful, stylishly maintained inn by chance. The farmer's sausage and the Hobelkäse tasted great, the dessert was a dream, and the tea alone is worth visiting the Hirschen! We'll definitely be back!

We happened to come by here on Thursday afternoon at the end of July. According to the staff everything is occupied. Then a guest reported that he would pay straight away and then we could get his table! It worked. Some who came after us had to leave again. So a reservation is recommended. I have to say that the food didn't quite meet our expectations. The staff was visibly under pressure. Some kindness would have been nice. All in all, acceptable but room for improvement. The price-performance ratio is OK.

Beautiful inn in Heimiswil in the cozy, homely Emmental. It has a large outdoor area under an awning and a lounge. And the view, brilliant. There are always plenty of parking spaces along the house and a larger parking space a little further ahead. The coffee, fine. And the service was also very friendly. It worked perfectly. Lieu magique où nous sommes arrêtés par hasard. C'est une bâtisse ravissante. L'accueil y est très chaleureux. Nous avons dejeune dans une salle entièrement vêtue de bois L'atmosphère est ouatee, hyper cosy Nous avons commencé par des bâtonnets de rosti délicieux. Puis des spatzi, sortes de pâtes courtes, cuites dans un bouillon de poireaux et champignons. Le tout est gratiné avec de l'emmental et du jambon Cette halte nous a enchanté. Faites de même vous vous en souviendrez

Ich war dort Abendessen und einmal hatte ich etwas Süsses & einen Kaffee. Dieses Restaurant war gut besucht, da dieses auch beliebt ist für sein sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Atmosphäre war gemütlich.

Im Hirschen ist die Welt noch in Ordnung. Man fühlt sich in einer anderen Welt. Wir waren im Garten und hatten zwei, drei Aperohäppchen und zum Dessert den genialen warmen Apfelkuchen. Die Bedienung war so freundlich, bin das gar nicht mehr gewohnt. Werde sicher wieder kommen

Wir waren heute mit der Familie zum Mittagessen im Hirschen. Ein wunderschönes Haus liebevoll dekoriert mit einem tollen Garten. Hervorragender herzlicher erfrischender Service mit durchwegs bärnerdialäkt. Die Speisekarte liest sich sehr gut und die servierten Speisen waren entsprechend sehr gut. Auch die Dessertkarte bietet vieles und geht weit über das 08/15 hinaus. Alles in allem ein wunderbares Erlebnis.Etwas jammern auf hohem Niveau muss aber auch sein. Das Entrecote sollte einiges dicker sein. War etwas grenzwertig da man bei einem dünnen Stück Fleisch keine optimale Garstufe erreichen kann. Anstelle der knappen 2 cm wären deren 4 eine Aufwertung dieses Klassikers. Denn dies war das einzige Gericht welches wir aus diesem Grund nicht mehr bestellen würden... aber trotzdem volle Punktzahl denn hier stimm einfach zu vieles um nicht maximal zu bewerten.. bravo
