Great experience! After a short climb (quite steep) you reach the entrance to the caves. You can also walk it alone without any problems. A little tip: take a thin jacket with you even in summer :)

Not as large as some of the other cave systems I've been to, but nice regardless. As the guide says, the most interesting thing about these caves in particular, is the unusually quick formation, due to the thin roof and the roots that have been fossilised, rather than the traditional pure stalagmite/stalactite formation.

Easy to find thanks to signage in Baar and plenty of free parking spaces available. the tour is beautifully done (interior lighting) and can be done in just under 30-40 minutes. Approximately 15 minutes long, unguided tour. Wet, cool conditions throughout with some steps and low, narrow passages. Good shoes, a rain jacket and safety are an advantage. Ticket price adults 12-. Ms. There are several screens with information along the route. A 5 minute steep forest path leads to the entrance. The exit is then downstairs at the cash register house with a kiosk and small restaurant. Highly recommended and impressive for young and old. Beautiful, mysterious, independent of the weather + Suitable for the whole family + There are 2 caves one after the other + Duration: You can run through it in 15 minutes or take up to 1.5 hours + everything is beautifully staged with light (sometimes also with music) + you just need to bring a little imagination with you ;-) + cheap entry prices (it would be great if it stayed that way - for families) + You can grab a bite to eat at the kiosk or seek shelter from the rain + There is a toilet + Souvenirs are also available at the kiosk o You have to get the tickets at the kiosk downstairs and only then dare to go up, otherwise you have to walk twice :-P o The climb is quite tight and older people who are not good at walking might find it difficult. o Duration of the ascent approx. 3 minutes o It is cool in the caves (around 10 °C in summer) - Unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers (turnstile at the entrance, stairs and narrow passages in the cave, toilet also has a step) We'll definitely go again at some point.

What I particularly loved was the ability to take photos to capture these memories forever. There was also a souvenir shop at the end of the tour where you could buy memorabilia from this unforgettable visit.
