Holy Cow! Gourmet Burger Co. BIENNE in Biel/Bienne

I loved this place. Very friendly staff, especially a girl who spoke Spanish and was super nice! The food is 100% Swiss and super tasty, and they are very fast. I recommend their holly cola, I love it, super refreshing and tasty and their potatoes are amazing.

Excellent 🍔. Too bad the staff got the order wrong. They happily offered us a free cookie and offered us a drink. Few customers at 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon. But satisfied

Ambiance is so-so but service and food is fantastic. The jalapeño sour cream is simply awesome. VERY VERY RECOMMENDED

Best burgers and fries around, always very good and local products! On the other hand, the desserts are of no interest, the ice creams and cookies are expensive and bland, a shame for lovers of sweets.

It’s a very nice Burger place. They were kind enough to make me a vegan Burger which was not on the menu. This was very kind but I was super disappointed when they then just gave me a Burger-Bun and a vegan Patty with literally nothing else on it ….. so this is not the place to go as a vegan if your looking for a good Burger experience.

I love this Restaurant. I'm vegetarian by choice but I make an exception for their 'Elvis blues cheese' burgers. Their fries are excellent. The service is fast and attentive. Small, well-maintained, clean room with a good atmosphere of lightness.

I ate in Holy Cow again with my girlfriend after a long time. That was the worst burger I had ever eaten. Had stomach pain that same evening. The meat was like a compressed pulp that didn't even taste like meat. The burger patty was more reminiscent of a veggie burger than meat. The fries were soaked with old oil and were just greasy and hard. We didn't finish the food and were completely disappointed.

I had a burger with avocado and big beef. The avocado burger was more delicious. It doesn't taste that great, but it's just edible. But strangely, the beef patty tasted like chorizo. The French fries are so delicious. They're so delicious. They're crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.. I don't usually eat French fries, but I ate them all! Cola is not recommended. It tastes like candy..ㅎ

Nice restaurant! The staff is adorable, the service is great. We have at our disposition a table with sauces, salt,pepper…etc. Big portions, especially for fries.

It's really fun to eat here with you because it tastes good and the price and quantity are right (please don't make it more expensive 🤣) The only point of criticism (Biel branch) is that the toilet is often reminiscent of a toi toi toilet, but of course the guests also contribute to this!!!! By gourmet I mean something different. My burger with avocado was a huge disappointment. There wasn't a bite of meat, the avocado was overwhelmed by the ketchup and was completely lost. So does the lettuce leaf. My burger tasted like it came from a fairground. Except I paid twice as much for it. Tastes are different, this burger couldn't convince my gourmet palate at all🙏🤷‍♀️

Well, it’s because it’s Switzerland but the price is quite high. 16.90 francs for a vegetarian student menu (you better be Swiss to get it but the waiter was nice), otherwise 15.90 at 9 for the burger alone without fries or drink. The bun was good, the veggie steak okay but a little simple, but above all not a lot of vegetables so I mainly have the impression of having eaten bread. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

With great expectations for the best burger, I was unfortunately disappointed. The bread is soggy, the sauce is way too sweet and unfortunately the meat doesn't do much either. All in all a disappointment and probably more for a younger generation. Still better and different than the usual food chains. Input: Don't use sauces that are so sweet, use better bread and let the meat be stored well but cooked through.

Food is good but the perfect cleanliness and hygiene standards are missing. There is no disinfectant dispenser at the entrance. When asked if they had disinfectants, they said no. This makes me wonder about the hygiene in the cooking area...

Food was very good, I was always very impressed with the quality. HOWEVER, recently I and my colleagues were rudely shouted at by the cashier. She refused to take our order because we didn't say “Grüessech”. To “I would like to…” She repeatedly only answered “Grüessech” with an immodest attitude. I won't put up with something like that, especially not from someone who, as she called herself, is an "almost boss."

Friendly service, I have never eaten such good fries in my life! the burger is also excellent. Mention for the cold peach tea which rivals the greats! The only flaw is the price (around 20.- for burger-fries-drink) but this is understandable given that all the products are local. Plus, unlike some burger brands, you are well fed with a burger that is also delicious. In short, I will definitely return and I recommend 200%!

If you like burgers, you can't miss HolyCow. Great sizes, great coverage, very good value for money. There are also salads and meatless versions.

Anyone who knows Asllani's Corner in Interlaken has probably had the best burger in Switzerland anyway. Nevertheless, we (2 adults and a child aged 11) tried this burger shop in Biel because the pictures first appealed to us. The burgers look good, but the look is deceptive! The meat is so over-seasoned, the roll tastes like cardboard, the sauces are over-sweetened, even the pigeons didn't want to eat the fries because they were dripping with oil. Even the drinks are so sweet that my child didn't want to drink them. Making burgers is an art. 3 menu 65.- without drinks. Now a burger joint is off our list. Reply to your comment: you can save yourself that... All ready-made texts that I read everywhere here... Shame the beef had to die for this gourmet disaster! We definitely won't be coming back. Money thrown out!

Unfortunately, the appearance of the food is the only thing that can be described as good. The fries are ok, although they are a bit too big and sometimes a bit flimsy. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the burger itself and expected much more. Bread looks good and is not a run-of-the-mill bun, but leaves something to be desired. The consistency of the meat itself (beef) is much too firm and compact; you can't feel much of the beef itself because the spices are much more dominant. The meat is not freshly fried but rather has been kept warm for a long time. Bacon is also a mix of chewy, cold, aged and chewy. Sauce rather sweet or too sweet, but it's definitely a matter of taste... Cola rather special, iced tea too sweet. Employee motivation is also below average. Unfortunately, the first and last time

I placed an order via Uber Eats, a menu with cold tea, coke and a beer. On delivery there was cold lemon tea sold with the menu; I said to myself ok, mistakes happen. The next day I ordered again, a menu with 2x additional fries, so I should have received 3 fries, I only received two... Big problem with order preparation

Hello friends I know Holy Cow from several branches but what I was served last time in Biel was subterranean. Fries were thrown into the cold oil and were soaked with oil. The Big Cheese had barbecue sauce on it. :( why barbecue sauce on a cheeseburger? Well... take a look... Greeting

The selection of burgers is extensive. Everyone will find something here. The prices are very acceptable and the atmosphere is modern.

The food is good but the vegetarian burgers are a little undercooked, you can feel the stress of the employees and it's a shame why aren't there more people at the checkout? Otherwise the experience is good, the employees are super nice, nothing to complain about their efficient service.
