Stopped in for lunch with my father. Joanna was a wonderful host and took care of us and helped me practice my German.

We were on our racing bikes towards the Stelvio Pass in the fall and wanted to take a break and just have a drink on the empty terrace in the sun. We asked if card payment was possible, it wasn't, we had to go to the ATM and withdraw money. Since we, coming from Austria, logically didn't want to withdraw an extra Swiss franc for two drinks, we were rudely complimented. Very disappointing because we wouldn't have taken a place away from anyone and we'll probably still win?! We have rarely seen something so stingy and unsympathetic. Very backwards and narrow-minded in this day and age.

Cozy B&B, comfortable beds, very nice team. The restaurant in the same building is operated separately, so we didn't eat there.

Very happy with my stay at the B&B Alpina I stayed 2 nights with breakfast included As the name suggests it is a 'bed and breakfast'. I did not dinne in the Restaurant. Rooms are comfortable, clean some might say dated (I call it nostalgic) but everything needed is available. I stayed in a corner room with balcony at the, at times very busy, main Road. The traffic didn't bother me sitting on the balcony. At night traffic was low and with the windows closed it was barely audible to me. The hostesses are friendly, knowledgable and obliging. Breakfast was fresh and varied.
