My father and I had a very nice time at the Hotel Guttannen. Booking the rooms was uncomplicated and the ladies were very friendly. As Germans, the Swiss prices almost made us lose faith, but we quickly realized that the Hotel Bären in the area was unbeatable in terms of price/performance. The location of the hotel is ideal for taking excursions in the Jungfrau region, but also for taking the Gelmerbahn and much more. Enjoyed the lovey surrounding mountain view at room/on terrace, particularly the cow bell rang non-stop at dusk moment. Waitress a bit busy at handling checking-in and kitchen errands simultaneously, but in general nice & helpful. It’s a popular restaurant too.
