Such great hospitality!! Loved the dinner, probably the best we've had on the hike in a couple days. The waitress was amazing and kind. We had potatoes, chicken, soup and a great icecream dessert! Bed was outrageously comfortable, and the room was clean. The location is amazing, and there are cows with bells walking all around. Meals have a view of the mountain and it's right along the TMB trail. Breakfast was some jam, toast, and orange juice/coffee.

We stayed here on our 7th day of the TMB trail. It’s located very close to it, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Probably the nicest people we’ve encountered so far. Dinner was the best we’ve had. I had read other reviews so we had low hopes, but we were very impressed by the quality and portions. I’m vegetarian and they served me a veggie burger which was very welcomed as veg options on the trail are limited. The rooms were clean and cozy. With the windows shut it’s warm and open it’s very cool. This was the most comfortable we’ve been while on the trail. I highly recommend staying here or stopping in for a meal.

I slept here while doing the TMB route. Very nice hotel if you want to visit Lacs de Fenetre. The views from the terrace are amazing.The managers and staff are very welcoming and kind, they recommended me to visit Cabane d'Orny, near Champex lac, and It was a really good afternoon hike, thank you for all!!

Rooms are okay. Picnic is not recommended for the price. Dinner is okay but salad could be better and wish there are some protein options.

Very well located refuge and very cute and pleasant individual rooms! Dazzling views! Very disappointed with the meals…very very simple meals and nothing homemade, pie and egg extra. Not up to the expectations of a mountain refuge and especially in comparison with the other lodges around the Mont-Blanc tour

To be fair, the room was very clean, the shower amazing, and the place pleasant enough. It’s was just so overpriced I wish we had known we could take bus for 30 mins to Orsières to sleep there instead. Dinner was ok.. but breakfast was really underwhelming. Definitely not a breakfast of champions you’d need to go tackle another long day out. At the rate they’re charging, having to pay extra to have boiled eggs seem pushing things a bit too far.

Expensive and overpriced, rather stay somewhere else. The owner did not recognize us after our check-in, so we had to reintroduce ourselves a few times, which was very awkward. The attic room is cosy and has its own shower and bathtub with nice hot water. However, the room has no curtain, so the adjacent street light lights the room at night. Dinner is mediocre and the mini breakfast is disappointing: you even have to pay extra for a boiled egg. Bonus points: the garden and the sound of the waterfall.

The crouette de fromage was our best lunch on the TMB (N.B., lunch is only served 14:00 - 16:00) Dinner was excellent, also. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is if you get a private room on the top floor. Those rooms are built for dwarves, and you'll be constantly hitting your head.

This place is fantastic. My fiancé and I booked a private room, which was clean and comfy. The shower/bathroom was perfectly clean. The food was great. It’s a lovely quiet place to stay. Mila and Marco are INCREDIBLY nice. Highly recommend staying here whether you’re hiking the TMB or vacationing and passing through!

Our private room with a private bathroom with shower was good. The evening dinner lasagna was OK/adequate and breakfast was limited to coffee, bread, yogurt, and various cereals. The 15 franc ripoff carry away lunch of an apple, a white bread roll w 2 slices of ham and another hot dog bun with cheese was equivalent to a lunch at a homeless shelter

Charming hotel with nice people and very nice comfy rooms. I would have rated it 5 stars except for the picnic lunch which was poor and not worth the money . Much better to stop at the shop in la Fouly and get something

Wonderful high mountain hotel / refuge in the enchanted valley of Ferret, Switzerland. We stayed a week and rode all the routes in the surrounding area with our electric bikes! Excellent and familiar welcome. Excellent quality of food, carefully researched by local suppliers and cooked all at home. Beautiful mountain style rooms. Fresh and sunny garden where you can drink end rest. Changing staff available and sympathetic. They speak Italian, English and French all the time! Super recommended for all ages, pets allowed and parking free.

We were with family on the TMB towards La Fouly. We had already walked a lot and therefore decided to stop at this establishment (it is about 20 minutes before the center of La Fouly). The hotel manager is incredibly kind. She made lasagna especially for us even though it was late and evening service had passed. These lasagnas were homemade and delicious, I don't understand the negative comments on this subject... Mila was also very attentive to our needs. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. I recommend this establishment.

Very friendly welcome, firstly by the very smiling waitress and then by the very friendly owner. The very cozy room makes you feel really good. The half-board meal, although a little simple, is very good. It could be nice to have some little specialties a little more local than vegetable soup and lasagna. Breakfast also simple but effective.

Room 11 to avoid (attic and squeaky beds). On the other hand, the staff is very good. We really enjoyed the garden. Good evening meal and decent breakfast.

Val Ferret is a magnificent place. On the other hand, open a restaurant with a lot of traffic from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Inadmissible

All the workers were very kind. The dormitories and showers were very clean. Dinner was also good, homemade lasagna and soup+dessert. Didn't try the homemade tarts but they looked delicious. Nice stop to have a snack break even if you don't spend the night.

The best food I’ve had on the TMB. Rooms are beautiful, the view is great, and prices for the drinks were very reasonable for the TMB - cheapest we ran across tbh. The owners are incredibly kind and cannot recommend enough.

Clean, cozy accommodations with wonderful owner Mila and staff member Marco. The hospitality, food, and ambience were exactly what we needed after a long hiking day. Mila even went out of her way to drive me to la Fouly the next day because I hurt my ankle and the taxis were expensive. Definitely stay here while hiking the TMB!

To avoid completely it is the worst lodge in the tmb that we are made the beds in the dormitories are not great cold shower of 3 minutes maximum The food as a starter salad leaves the dish was good homemade lasagna but reheated in the microwave They don't want to give WiFi even though they have it and for 70chf or 70 euros at home because it suits them well! I find this really not honest!

First stop on our trip around Mont Blanc where we had everything we needed: A room large and clean enough to accommodate two adults and a dog, modern and clean bathrooms and shower, a very warm welcome, a very good home-cooked meals, and above all warm, caring, attentive, compassionate staff, and very concerned about the well-being of their guests. Many thanks to Mila, the boss who was able to reassure me and support me when I was worried about my companion who had still not arrived in the evening. We will come back for sure! See you soon 😘

Beautiful location at the foot of the glacier. Nice garden to enjoy fresh relaxation. Comfortable rooms. Home cooking, Mila's cakes are excellent!! Friendly and pleasant staff.

Great food and a welcoming staff!

Cold shower, 3 minutes flat, sanitary facilities to be reviewed. Meal, lasagna very good and the rest mediocre. After a TMB stage, a green salad as a starter is very light. Industrial ice cream dessert while the menu displays homemade pies. Insufficient quantity. Above all we want to make money. Damage. Value for money too expensive.

After a long day of hiking in the rain, we took a room in this hotel to rest and spend a quiet night, our stay was perfect. After taking our showers, Mila was waiting for us at the restaurant for dinner, we started with a good vegetable soup perfect for warming up, the main course was a delicious homemade lasagna accompanied by a very good red wine from the region, the desert was a very tasty homemade Italian pie. The private room had two balconies and was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was also heating in the room and bathroom. We were able to pay by credit card, which is not insignificant in the region. Our stay in this hotel was fantastic, thank you Mila for your attention, if we do the TMB again we will stay in your hotel again without doubt! See you next time !

We were warmly welcomed by Mila and her two employees at the opening of the season and we had a good time in the refuge. The only complaint I have is that I was a little cold at night because blankets were not provided due to COVID.

How can I put it....the traditional costumes, the willing staff, but despite all this, the cold installed in each of the rooms of this establishment and a kitchen which is quite simply thawed...a shame for a very beautiful location.

Disappointing stage on the TMB We took a room for 3. The room was cute, but the 3rd bed was added in front of the room's shower, without any separation. The food was industrial, and too limited in quantity. Breakfast reduced to the strict minimum. Staff nice and helpful but seemed to have started the day before. Prices applied: 1€ = 1 Swiss franc In short, not the best address in TMB.

Nos alojamos aquí mientras caminamos por el TMB, y nos encantó. La comida era deliciosa (y porciones enormes, que es genial después de mochilear todo el día). El hotel es muy lindo y tiene una agradable área de descanso al aire libre para relajarse antes de cenar. Había un lugar adentro para lavar la ropa también. En el desayuno, el anfitrión dio a cada grupo pronósticos meteorológicos personales dependiendo de dónde estuviéramos caminando ese día. Fue un toque encantador!

Una buena ubicación al final de nuestro primer día en TMB, comenzó en Champex. Pequeño y lindo hotel, tuvimos la suerte de tener una habitación para nosotros dos con baño en suite (toallas incluidas). El propietario fue muy amable con nosotros y no una diva como tantos otros gerentes de refugio que encontramos más adelante en nuestra caminata. . .Tuvimos un pequeño aperitivo afuera con una deliciosa selección de embutidos, quesos y una cerveza, antes de disfrutar de una lasaña absolutamente increíble. . . un poco decepcionante al día siguiente con el desayuno, que era demasiado básico, aunque podría pagar extras. La habitación no era barata y tenía cruasanes, pan recién hecho, una buena selección de mermeladas locales y un poco de embutidos y queso que recorrerían un largo camino y harían toda la experiencia aún más agradable. . .

Le personnel est aimable, mais,... mais cette fois c’est la grosse, très grosse déception alors que chaque année on y vient comme but de promenade.Les 4 plats commandés étaient décevant et ne correspondaient pas au libellé sur la carte: un carpaccio de bœuf commandé devient un plat de viande séchées, une salade niçoise qui se limite à un poivron vert avec thon en boîte etc etcBref en temps normal j’aurais tout renvoyé en cuisine, mais étant en vacances donc no stress j’ai laissé aller. Mais si cela devait se reproduire je serai beaucoup beaucoup plus sévère

El hotel era agradable y el personal muy amable. Estábamos haciendo el TMB y por lo tanto teníamos hambre. La cena estuvo bien, PERO el desayuno era solo pan blanco (más un vaso de jugo, mermelada y nutella), y si quieres más, te costará. No está bien, porque el hotel es bastante caro.

We arrived here in the dark since we hiked all the way from Coeurmayeur (I don't recommend that long/far of a hike!!), about halfway through their dinner service, but we had made a reservation for a half-board and they came out with a plate of hot homemade lasagne that the owner had made herself (it was wonderful), Our bed was great and the hot shower was great, too! Breakfast was fine- nothing fancy. I've read other reviews and the hotels in Switzerland just have a lower level of value than other places on the TMB. We were happy for a wonderful hot meal (dessert of panna cotta wass wonderful, too).

The best dortoir we stayed in during our TMB hike. Very clean and well run. The outdoor space is unbelievably beautiful and there is both room to relax and a clothesline to dry any hiking laundry on. They have great facilities - shower, laundry sink, and rooms. Supper was hearty and tasty. Would definitely recommend if doing the TMB.

The room and bath where clean (we took a suite). Beds were not comfortable (lucky the next day was an easy one!) The food was very average/basic (we got ONE slice of bread each and small piece of Lasagna for dinner (we left hungry.) Breakfast was even more basic. :-(It was also the most expansive place on our TBM (200CH.) So, it was not a good value for the money,If you are TMB trekker continue to La Fouly (< 45 min), there are better places.

Mann an der Rezeption sehr gut und hilfsbereit beim Einchecken. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber und mit einer guten Aussicht. Keine Heizung, aber ok, wenn man erst einmal ins Bett gegangen ist. Gute Ausstattung in en suite. Guten Abend essen. Frühstück ein bisschen einfach nur Brot Marmelade und heiße Getränke. Ein bisschen teuer bei 200 CH für zwei Halbpension, aber das ist die Schweiz und nicht viel Auswahl in der Gegend. Auch Schlafsaal im Hotel, aber es lohnt sich, für ein Bad zu bezahlen. Wir haben einige Hotels für unseren 10-tägigen TMB Trek ausgewählt und das ist einer von ihnen. Manchmal müssen Sie nur eine Mischung aus Wohnheimaufenthalten und privaten Zimmeraufenthalten haben, um die Dinge besser zu machen. Es war ein süßes kleines Hotel mit schöner Aussicht. Wir haben ein Doppelzimmer mit Halbpension gebucht. Das Abendessen ist ein 3-Gänge-Menü - wir dachten, die Hauptgerichte hatten wir hatten zu wenig Pilze, aber viel Polenta, wir fühlten wir brauchen mehr Protein in unseren Mahlzeiten und bestellte einen Teller Hühnchen Nuggets hinzufügen. Das Frühstück wurde mit Brot und Marmelade und Kaffee / Tee serviert - wir bestellten hartgekochte Eier und Schinken zum hinzufügen. Es wäre gut, wenn sie mehr Elemente in das Frühstücksmenü aufnehmen könnten. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt gut, wir lieben das Zimmer und haben gut geschlafen.

Fra monti e ghiacciai questo chalet offre un menù ottimo: polenta e spezzatino o funghi o formaggio. Tagliatelle con funghi o ragù e lasagne. Tutto fresco e fatto a mano. Vini e birre di qualità. E per finire un Tiramisù eccezionale fatto dal cuoco al mattino. Cuoco e signora gentili e amichevoli. Tornati ancora una volta ci siamo sentiti a casa.

Wir waren hier für eine Nacht im Rahmen der Tour du Mont Blanc. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sprach Englisch. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, eines unserer Favoriten der Reise und ein willkommener Anblick nach ein paar Nächte in Refugien! Wir hatten einen privaten Balkon mit einer spektakulären Aussicht. Das Zimmer wirkte sehr neu und modern. Sehr sauber und die Dusche war super. Wir hatten ein spätes Mittagessen als wir von der Strecke kamen und das war sehr gut - Lasagne und Salat. Auch das italienische Craft Beer war sehr gut! Zum Abendessen (ab 7 Uhr) hatten wir Sitzgelegenheiten in Ihrem Zimmer arrangiert - manche Leute saßen nur zu zweit oder alleine an einem Tisch. Wir hatten eine Rindfleisch + Polenta-Mischung, die sehr gut und sättigend war. Am Morgen haben wir gefrühstückt (ab 7), das war nur Toast + Marmelade (aber typisch für Refugium Hit oder Miss Frühstück). Verglichen mit den französischen und italienischen Seiten ist dieses Hotel teuer - aber das gilt für die ganze Schweiz auf dieser Wanderung. Aber ich fand es günstiger als Unterkünfte in La Fouly. Ich bin froh, dass wir etwa 40 Minuten zu früh aufgehört haben, hier zu bleiben. La Fouly hat mehr Annehmlichkeiten, wenn man es braucht (wie Geldautomaten, mehr Restaurants, Sportgeschäfte), aber wir waren so froh, dass wir im abgelegeneren Dorf Ferret übernachtet haben. Tipp auch, dass sie Franken und Euro akzeptieren. . . Plus Kreditkarten. Wir würden empfehlen, hier während des TMB zu bleiben!

We had a private room with a private bathroom, which was very nice. The people at the front desk/restaurant were very friendly. The dinner was about the same quality as other places where we had half board, which really surprised us since the cost per night was than at any other accommodation of this type while we were on the TMB. But the next day we had heard really bad things from other hikers about the accomodations in La Fouly so we were glad we stayed here.

Beste Flüchtlinge/Hotel, in dem wir gewesen sind während der TMB Das Abendessen war großartig, besten, das wir je hatten während der Reise. Das Frühstück war ein wenig einfach, aber trotzdem einen Besuch wert. Wunderschöner Ort zum Schlafen in mit einem tollen Blick.

we came as a couple to spend the night as part as the TMB cours. the stuff are very friendly. rooms are extrimly clean and food was amazing. very recomended spot to spend the nighr near la fouly.

Wir verbrachten eine Nacht in diesem kleinen Hotel, als wir zu Fuß das TMB Unser Zimmer war sauber, einfach und groß genug für uns zwei. Dusche, aber keine Badewanne. Abendessen und Frühstück waren angemessen, aber nichts Besonderes, obwohl sich lokale Käse und Joghurt sind verfügbar (Joghurt für eine zusätzliche Gebühr). Wie in anderen Auberge gab es nichts für das Frühstück mit Protein - nur Kohlenhydraten - was ist schwierig für Wandern. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich. Kein Wifi.

Mila und Luciano waren die liebenswürdigsten Gastgeber! Unser Zimmer hatte eine schöne Terrasse und wir konnten uns liegen in unserem Bett für eine kurze Pause nach einem Tag Wandern und noch einen Blick auf den Gletscher. Was für eine tolle Lage! Das Abendessen war 3 Gänge, Rich &amp; herzhaft mit Rindfleisch senken konnte ich mit einer Gabel wurde es sehr zart und gut zubereitet. Nachtisch auch sehr lecker war. Sie nahmen sich die Zeit, uns zeigen Bilder von ihren eigenen Abenteuer, Kritik die anstehenden Wetterbericht und wies auf Beispiele von lokalen Red Deer und Ziegen, die manchmal sichtbar auf der Bergseite direkt neben dem Hotel. Ein sehr gemütliches und gut geführtes Hotel!Das TMB Buch schreibt dies als Variante aber nehmen Sie meinen Rat an und verbringen Sie die Nacht hier als Phase 7 ist ein leicht Tag und der Startpunkt La Fouly ist nur eine kurze 40 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt von hier. Mit so viel wandern, eine schöne, ruhige Nacht der Rest ist es wert!

Charmant geführtes Hotel, sehr saubere und gemütliche Zimmer mit toller Aussicht, herrliche Bergruhe, zu Fuss nur 20-30 Minuten nach La Fouly, respektive mit dem Bus problemlos erreichbar. Ausgezeichnete Übernachtungsmöglichkeit (inkl. Gastronomie) auf der TMB oder für Wanderferien anstelle der Möglichkeiten in La Fouly.

Il ristorante ha anche delle camere e fa la mezza pensione, abbiamo cenato in quattro mangiando un ottima fondue ai formaggi, accompagnata da un buonissimo vino bianco locale. Le camere sono molto belle e pulite. Servizio molto disponibile e attento.Il ristorante/Albergo è posizionato quasi in fondo alla valle e il panorama del massiccio del monte bianco che si gode dal giardino è fantastico.

Dieses Hotel in Ferret, Gebühren 100 CHF pro Person für ein kleines, winzig klein Zimmer mit zwei Betten und eine Nacht Ablage. Ein kleines Einzelzimmer Seife im Bad, einfach Abendessen und einfaches kontinentales Frühstück (Toast und Marmelade Stil). Nie wieder!
