Hôtel Du Lac in Crans-Montana

Magnificent location on the edge of a very pretty pond. Our room was spacious and very well appointed. A magnificent view of the snow-capped mountains. All the staff as well as the managers were very friendly and smiling 😀 we really appreciated it. The little extra? The sauna and Turkish bath are available for reservation, which is very nice after a good day of skiing. We will return to this hotel without hesitation. Very generous and varied breakfast. The decoration with all these wooden animals is magnificent. The beer brewed on site was excellent.

Extremely satisfied with my stay here for 4 days! The hotel is conveniently located a few hundred meters from the cable cars, the "Lac Grenon" bus stop which can take you to other more distant cabins, and the Migros. Room 19 for two, although not very large, was pleasant to live in. It was always clean, especially after room service. There was a small terrace, with a (slightly obstructed) view of the Alps which allows you to see beautiful sunrises/sunsets. The shower is a little too small but does the job. She had a problem though because the faucet was running at the same time as the shower head, which reduced the pressure and wasted water. TV didn't work, but WiFi was good. Breakfast is classic: eggs, yogurt, bread, toast, jam, orange juice etc. Evening dinners were more elaborate and diversified each day: fish, meat, raclette, etc., and each time also included a starter (e.g. soup or Valais plate) and a dessert (e.g. fruit bowl, chocolate mousse). ). Everything was very good. The waitresses and reception staff were all very pleasant, attentive and professional. The only BIG FLAT is the ski room, or should I rather say ski closet. It was tiny and couldn't accommodate all the skis, boots and poles in our group of 50+ people. So I was trying to get back from the slopes before everyone else at 3:30 p.m. to find a place. This premises should be enlarged or an additional one built because it is clearly insufficient compared to the number of rooms in the hotel. In short, I very highly recommend this hotel which met all my expectations despite a few small imperfections, and hope to return there next year.

I happened to visit the place in particular circumstances, having accompanied the owners who were affected by an adverse event. The place is lovely, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the vibrant nature that surrounds it. The owners are wonderful and super helpful people, who offered me to refresh myself and rest at their facility despite having no obligation to do so. They also have a space dedicated to coffee roasting and artisanal beer production, what more could you want?! Super recommended!

Super séjours à Crans Montana dans cet hôtel 3 étoiles au bord du lac Grenon. L'emplacement est fabuleux; 7 - 8 minutes du centre de Crans, 10 minutes des pistes et du départ de Montana (tout cela à pied!) Quelques restaurants dans les parages qui proposent des services à l'emporter. L'accueil à l'hôtel était fabuleux, on s'est sentis très à l'aise et contents dès les premières interactions. Nous avons très vite fait connaissance des équipes et de la direction, tel un esprit de famille. On s'est sentis comme à la maison, comme il se doit dans un hôtel 3 étoiles de très bonne catégorie. Le personnel était très accueillant et prêt à tout pour nous faire plaisir. Je recommande chaleureusement l'hôtel du lac de Crans Montana à tout le monde et de toute classe pour un séjour très agréable!
