Hotel Elmer in Glarus Süd

Great family-run hotel in beautiful Elm. Spacious very clean rooms and very friendly staff. We were there in the low season and were probably the only guests at breakfast. Nevertheless, the breakfast was excellent. It was a pleasure.

Very nice place in winter as well as in summer. The hotel is top: modern rooms, everything very clean, service very friendly, sauna in the house with a terrace with a wonderful view.

The hotel offers a large bathroom, clean and modern. A sauna area with a 60-degree organic herbal sauna and a Finnish sauna at 80 degrees, including a terrace and a view of the starry sky. Free parking is available for guests. The mountain railways are a little away, but there is a connection via a ski bus (3 minutes drive) that stops directly in front of the hotel and runs every half hour.

Very nice service and good food. Unfortunately the cistern was broken and ran the whole time.

We only went to the hotel restaurant, but it was great.

We were there with the company for the Christmas party and it was very tasty. Staff friendly. I can recommend 👍🏼

Slept here last night on the Via Alpina. Hotel is fantastic and staff delighted. Rooms quiet and breakfast was delicious. Owners went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Would love to return and stay longer
