But what you have given us the last three times as a waiting time is the last straw. Last Friday we waited 1 1/2 hours for our food. Yes, it's good when food is freshly prepared, but be honest with your guests and say so. After 90 minutes the food arrived. Our daughter then had to wait another 12 minutes until she received a barely edible burger with already dried bread and cheese. We told the boss that he wasn't good, no sensible reaction. We were there for a birthday dinner, it would have been nice to wish the person a happy birthday. At least we had a few party letterings carelessly thrown on the table and a ribbon on the table. Your Cordon Bleus are fine, but very salty. There are also fries that almost sink in the spice. And now comes something that just doesn't work: when our children almost die of thirst from the salty food and we order water. Then bring you a "HUEB water" (instead of tap water) that you take from the port water network and run through a BWT water cooler with a filter. Because both children took water, we paid 12 francs for a single liter of water. Are you actually still in your senses? Profit maximization cannot be made much more obvious. Of course a lot of people come to the restaurant - so keep it up. But if no one comes in two years, we won't have time to have any regrets. For us it means: WE'RE NOT COMING ANYMORE, sorry!

I went to Hueb for the first time in April and because it was so delicious, I went again in the same month. The Cordon Bleu are very good! However, on the second visit I was very disappointed with the service. There were two of us and we each ordered a Cordon Bleu with fries. When the food was delivered, one came with spaetzli. We complained because we ordered fries and both plates were taken away. The correct side dish then came and was served with the comment that they hoped it was the correct Cordon Bleus. I already said that I hoped so too, since I can't tolerate onions, but I thought it was just a funny saying. Long story short: After a few bites, we noticed that the Cordon Bleus were actually swapped (the contents were the same except for the onions). We exchanged it back, reported the error to customer service when asked and pointed out my intolerance again. While eating dessert, what was bound to happen happened: I got severe stomach cramps and ended up on the toilet. We paid immediately and pointed out our now “broken” evening. I sat on the toilet at home until after midnight with severe cramps. I think they should have given us dessert or at least drinks... Please look for a solution to “mark” your Cordon Bleus! Flags, for example.

In Oli's Cordonbleu Guide everyone always raved about it and now we've made it, the choice fell on the Bärentatze (380g) with bacon and Gruyère and the huusgmachte Spätzli and an Australian Pale Ale (Head Ab). The menu for the Cordon Bleu's offers even more selection and ingredients as well as brilliant burgers and fine pasta... I can't say for the next visit because I'll want the Cordon Bleu again ;-)
