A wonderful summer holiday at the Hüttenberg Lodge in Braunwald! Due to the current situation, we had the hotel almost to ourselves - but that was very advantageous for us. 😉 Abey is a great cook and cooked and entertained my 4 year old daughter and me! 😄 Delicious breakfast buffet with many different types of cheese and freshly cooked dinner with a 4-course menu. 😇 The rooms are well-kept and functional - but if you're out in the mountains all day, you really don't need much in the evening. 😉 Nevertheless, there are nice lounges and a large games room. My daughter also liked the piano. 😊 The area here and the mountains are beautiful, you can hike a different trail every day. Muscle soreness is inevitable. 😉 I definitely recommend it and I hope we can come back again (both summer and winter). 😇

My 55th winter at this hotel, GREAT location, straight from the ski slopes to the hotel and straight to the ski lifts. Simple but cozy, uncomplicated and familiar hotel with a unique view of the mountains. Cuisine varied and very good. Great breakfast buffet. 4-course dinner. I'm already looking forward to next year! Abey, thank you for the entertaining moments with you.

Familiar, friendly, great location in the middle of the ski area. New kitchen crew, very personable, cooking varied and varied. Price-performance ratio optimal. The Braunwald ski area is not too big and not too small, beautiful deep snow opportunities, very scenic. We were here for about the seventh time this year and have always enjoyed coming back.

Our group (21) spent 2 great days/nights in Hüttenberg. Ms. Zentner was a good hostess, she opened the lodge especially for us. The rooms were clean and the beds were good. We enjoyed the breakfast, the best bread. The view is fantastic 😄 in good weather 😜. Many greetings from the USA, Japan and Switzerland.

If you don't care about cost and lack of convenience, then go ahead. I would never check in there again :( 18 years ago this accommodation was called Bergfrieden and was a beautiful, homely and familiar hotel, which was run with a lot of love by deaconesses. Every ski vacation was a dream. Today it is run by a whining, lazy gentleman who would rather whip around his underpaid foreign workers and let the hotel reek of foul smoke than care about the well-being of his few remaining guests. Brief summary: We had no warm water anywhere, not even for showering, the drinks were past their expiration date, dinner was a simple bolo; Self-service and then the whole thing cost 95 SFr. per night. What an extortion!!! But there were also positive things: we were allowed to take the dogs with us to our rooms and the breakfast buffet was okay.

Great location, house a bit in need of refurbishment. Excellent breakfast.
