Hvgge Switzerland in Meyrin

The food is the worst I have eaten on my entire trip to Switzerland and it was difficult to overcome the fatal eating experience. The kind of quiche is dry and tasteless, the halibut fillet tasted like a pond and to top off the dessert was a soft apple tartlet, reheated in the microwave, which fell apart, with a kind of cream ice cream. The waiters, however, were super helpful and nice. The food is terrible and very expensive, the biggest blow they have given me in a week and look how difficult it is too. Blessed Spain and its food. PS: stick with what it says on the ticket and don't even ask for it as a joke.

We sought Hygge out as regulars through the airport we’ve eaten here before and it was good. However this morning we ate here and one of us had a stale croissant (6 euros). It was inedible. They refused to replace it or take it off the bill. Extraordinary poor attitude and service. We won’t be returning.

Biggest waste of money ever. Do not eat here if you are Scandinavian... Meget skuffende!!

Great place! They have chargers, awesome food and a nice staff who let me sit there and wait for my husband for 4 hours!

One word. DON'T! Terrible food! Terrible manager. If I could give 0 stars I would but unfortunately I had to give them 1. We ordered meatballs that were as dry as the desert and when we wanted to exchange the manager got annoyed with us. We ended up not eating it and still got charged for it. Literally the worst experience. For the prices they charge you can at least expect good service if the food is bad. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

HORRID! Terrible bland food, even the Tabasco couldn’t save the lack of flavour in the overpriced dish. Horrible manager, I felt bad for the rest of the staff working under her.

We were dazzled by our great experience at this truly Danish café. (My husband is Danish and he confirmed the authenticity of the dishes.) The salmon and shrimp salads and the pastries were great and very fresh. The employees are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Overall, we had a few moments of Hygge (coziness) in Geneva!

Today I went to lunch at Dounia airport, really fast service, very well served, very well received, I am delighted, thank you to the HVGGE team I will come back on my next trip THANK YOU

Experienced breakfast with my wife. Very clean place, sober and friendly welcome. Delicious hot drinks and good pastries. Also already experienced a salad with salmon, this salad was qualitatively surprising, especially the salmon was particularly excellent. Overall the experience is quality. Fresh food prepared quickly and with a smile. Despite the airport setting, the atmosphere is pleasant and the staff greet every customer as if they were long lost acquaintances. A really positive surprise !

The decor is magnificent! From the service (by Jules I think) to the dishes, everything was perfect! Little extra for the cappuccino, one of the best I have tasted.

Hygge has a very special meaning in Denmark: synonymous with cozy, warm, comfortable… From my point of view, the lighting, furniture and techno music do not reflect the atmosphere that the name should convey. I'm also not sure that the staff really understood what a hot dog and Danish specialty bar should look like. Beyond that, the staff does the right thing and the food is OK... nothing more. What a shame that the managers of this brand do not train their staff or make efforts to distinguish their concept and take users to Denmark. And then this country Switzerland where the locals probably think they are too good to work in the restaurant business. I sympathize with the work of foreigners who therefore have work, but this lack of diversity is a bit frustrating and says a lot about this country, so beautiful and clean…. In appearance 😉

Lovely stop off before my trip in Switzerland. I’m gluten intolerant and the Spanish server was wonderful, very friendly and professional and great food! I had the Asian glass noodle salad of the day! Will be back again as my go to 😊

We were greeted after 15 minutes. We took our simple order 2 juices a coffee...15 minutes later...we were still not served. We were informed that we were leaving, we were told goodbye without worrying about anything... dismal experience...

Sadly you cannot sit if you have a take away, even when there are a lot of empty tables , you will be asked to get up , politely though

The cinnamon roll taken away is excellent and perhaps even better than some stores in Copenhagen. On the other hand, it was the price that almost suffocated me! 6.-- for a pastry, even a good one, it's too expensive. The cost of living in Switzerland is high, but don't believe that this is reflected in everyone's pockets... so I will wait for my future trip to enjoy something just as good elsewhere and at a lower price.

Nice cozy place in the arrival hall. The choice of coffee, tea and drinks is good and I recommend stopping just to enjoy a drink. On the other hand, it looks like a tourist gag with the most expensive pastries in all of Geneva... which taste so-so and seem industrial or at least not very tasty. For this price, you should have a high-end product.

This is how sandwich for 10 EUR looks like: bread, butter and cold eggs. Staff is polite but price/quality is ridiculous.

I was violently attacked (verbally) in front of other customers by the waitress serving take-out. I had not cleared the counter of my bottle of water since I was waiting for my coffee (and I had not been given any other indication) and she shouted at me without any respect and in an unjustified manner. It's shameful to be welcomed in this way in our beautiful city, what a lack of professionalism and interpersonal skills!

You buy coffee at the Hvgge-branded machine, you buy overpriced pastries and water in the Hvgge store, but then if you try to sit down at a Hvgge table you're told you can't because Hvgge is a "restaurant"! Seriously... despite all the pretensions Hvgge is just another airport fast-food establishment and the others at least allow you to sit down when you buy their stuff.
