Il Brunello in Kehrsatz

It was a wonderful experience. Celebrated my daughter's 20th birthday in a very nicely decorated restaurant. From A to Z everything was great👍 The service / Pizzajolo and of course the service staff. We felt very comfortable, The surprise for my daughter was also just great. Thank you dear team for this cozy evening.

A highlight for me was watching Pizaiolo work on the oven.

Since we moved to Kehrsatz we have been here several times and the experience is always amazing. The food is good, its a nice place to sit and the personell is very pollite and helpful. Also the take away pizza is super nice! Even when we were delayed 30 minutes by the train last time we picked up pizza, restaurant made sure we had a hot and fresh pizza anyway. 5 stars, and looking forward to the next time eating there.

Very attentive and friendly service accompanied us throughout the evening. The price-performance ratio is great, from the large mixed salad to the pizza in our own wood-fired oven. Finally there was a limoncello 😊

Wednesday evening for two for dessert and coffee at Il Brunello Kehrsatz. Since we didn't want to eat anything "real", we were asked to go into the dining room at the front (not the beautifully decorated, quiet dining room). It was really extremely loud, a large group was already at a long table, a second smaller group came later, the noise level was very, very loud throughout. The service was friendly but inattentive and didn't ask. Otherwise we would have liked to order something to drink a second time. The PannaCotta for CHF 10.50 is very good - but tiny. It's a shame, we left soon and we won't be coming back.

Wonderful ambience, great dishes, very attentive service staff and free dessert at lunchtime! The train traffic is a bit tiring in the long term but bearable when sitting on the terrace. The food is authentic and highly recommended. There are parking spaces in front of the restaurant and at the nearby train station. If you're looking for a good Italian, Brunello is the place for you! Price-performance top! Gladly again!

My review is about a pizza quattro formaggi, where the method of preparation probably varies the most. The pizza picked up as takeaway on Tuesday April 18th, 2023 was very disappointing! You could certainly eat this pizza, but the taste experience was completely missing, the toppings were at most third-class leftover cheese, Gorgonzola was completely missing, and otherwise this pizza was neither prepared with love nor with professionalism. If I pay CHF 22.- in takeaway, I expect a professionally prepared product from a traditional pizzeria, just as I am used to from the "Family S Kamberi Restaurants".

Penne Ticineso is my new favorite meal after visiting Brunello today!!! 12/10 I would recommend to everyone

We come regularly and we love it! The food is simply excellent and the service is very, very friendly and accommodating. As soon as you are seated at the table, there is homemade pizza bread and after the meal there is almost always a dessert or limoncello on the house, which is absolutely heavenly!! Thank you for the always very friendly service and the excellent food!!

While passing through Bern, I stopped by this restaurant by chance which was a superb discovery! A magnificent restaurant, quality service and cuisine that takes care of every detail! The products are fresh and excellent. The portions are generous for affordable prices. I recommend with my eyes closed! Kiss Bald! :)

Very disappointed! Waited for the plates to be cleared (15 minutes). It takes 40 minutes to draw your attention to the dessert menu (then we decided not to) until you pay! Not even when we were clearing up were we asked if there was something to drink or coffee....I'd rather spend the money in more attentive places, a shame. Left very disappointed

We are very good customers of the restaurant but for some time they have changed the management.. and it's been 3 times that there has been a problem.. here I ordered giant shrimps with spicy sauce (which I already have took that I know) at 37.- and no one told me that there was more they brought me mini shrimps with spicy oil that they put on the pizza I said that it wasn't the dish I ordered I was told we had more.. ok put for that I pay the same price?? They told me no and in the end I paid the same price for 5 mini shrimps with spicy pizza oil. My daughter was served 10 minutes after us. No apology from the boss even as I said we come often and it's not normal.. before it was good since they changed is that the profits.. my mother-in-law was doing very well every week customers..

My Gemelli pizza was missing the clay in the crust filling. The staff is friendly, but you shouldn't expect too much. It is served across the table across others. There was hardly any response to my feedback that the pizza was missing the tuna. The staff seemed rather disorganized. Same owner as the Puccini in Belp. The pizza (same menu) in Belp has more to offer in terms of taste.

Ich war seit Jahren nicht mehr hier. Deshalb war ich sehr angenehm überrascht, dass die neuen Wirtsleute das Lokal angenehm aufgefrischt und bequem ausgestattet haben. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich. Weiterhin sind Pizzen im Angebot. Wir bestellten 1mal Kalbsschnitzel an Zironensauce mit Risotto und 1mal Kalbsleberli mit Rösti. Beides kam schön angerichtet und schmeckte gut. Als Vorspeise hatten wir je einen kleinen grünen Salat, der eher gross ausfiel und ebenfalls positiv auffiel. Der Service war flink und freundlich.

Etwas laute Terrasse.Da wir etwas zu früh für den Termin in Kehrsatz waren, gingen wir in dies Restaurant. Beim eintreten war die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Wir schauten in die Menükarte die doch sehr groß ist, jedoch eher im obern Preissegment. Da wir nur etwas kleines essen wollten bestellten wir „Rappenspalter“ , Menüsalat und Teigwaren! Ja die Freundlichkeit war vorbei! Der Salat kam schnell, jedoch die Teigwaren wurden direkt von Küchenmitarbeiter gebracht mit mürrischem Gesichtsausdruck und Kommentarlos auf den Tisch geknallt. Waren kaum gekocht und kühl! Wenn man ein Preisgünstiges Menü auf die Karte setzt, sollte man bei einer Bestellung trotzdem sich freundlich benehmen. Ja bei den nächsten Besuchen in Kehrsatz werden wir dieses Restaurant sicher meiden.

Bedienung weiterhin sehr nett. Durchsichtige Folien dezent angebracht. Essen top mit Amuse Bouche zum Auftakt. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Limoncello gratis zum Abschluss! Empfehlenswert.

Der Schreibende war schon vor über 30 Jahren Gast in diesem Restaurant, da hiess es noch Zinnkanne. In der Folge wurde daraus Il Brunello, von ihm auch schon auf Tripadvisor bewertet. Unlängst wurde es vom Besitzer M. Kamberi und seinem Geschäftsführer F. Isaki grösstenteils eigenhändig renoviert, wie man mir mittelte. Renoviert ist aber untertrieben. Es wurde hochwertig - wie auch die Gaststube - eingerichtet und weiss schon beim Betreten zu überzeugen. Die Tische sind elegant und mit Liebe eingedeckt. Das Ambiente stimmt.Wir waren mit vier Personen zu Gast. Drei entschieden sich für Tartar. Versteht sich, dass jedes nach dem Geschmack des Gastes individuell zubereitet wurde. Ein Abenteuer im Munde. Und als Geste wurde zum Abschluss des Abends noch ein gehaltvolles Getränk offeriert.Die Karte ist umfangreich, ein Luxusproblem, schwerpunktmässig italienisch ausgerichtet. Hier stehen Könner ihres Fachs am Herd. Jeder Gast findet etwas nach seinem Geschmack und ihm zusagenden Budget. Und die Getränkekarte kann sich auch sehen lassen.Der Service ist zuvorkommend, präsent und verkörpert gelebte Gastfreundschaft.Der Pizzaofen wurde präsentierend in das Restaurant integriert. Zudem entdeckt man da und dort interessante Details, die zum Wohlfühlaufenthalt beitragen.Gut zu wissen: M. Kamberi betreibt auch das Puccini in Belp, Piazetta in Burgdorf und Piazza in Urtenen-Schönbühl.Privatparkplätze werden am Il Brunello ausreichend angeboten.Fazit: Wir verlassen das Restaurant mit dem Vorsatz: Wir kommen wieder, Schon Goethe sagte: Warum in die Ferne schweifen? Sie, das Gute liegt so nah.
