Very nice experience on our first visit. Seasonal dishes with wild garlic and beautifully seasoned crispy fries. Service was very friendly and attentive to our dog.

Everything impeccable. From the beautiful decoration of the space, the cleanliness and clean smell in the bathrooms, the impeccable food and even the super calm and pleasant service made it another pleasant dinner. My favorite dish at this restaurant is the Spare Ribs, they are divine. Yesterday the only thing that disappointed a little were the cheese Fries, otherwise everything was 5 stars. I highly recommend

I received an email even though I hadn't reserved anything. My old phone number was visible, but it was no longer in my name. I reported it by phone. The conversation was friendly and the person wanted to clarify further.

The food is, as always, super delicious. We have been coming for years and have always been very satisfied. The staff is courteous and very friendly. See you next time.

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and the terrace and the restaurant were well filled with all kinds of day trippers. The outdoor station was closed and you had to queue in the restaurant for self-service. So far so good. Unfortunately, the tone of the waitress left a lot to be desired and when we asked about cake and some dessert we were told off twice with a very Prussian no. It's a shame it's also friendly and the landlord also misses out on good sales with a terrace full of guests. I've only heard good things, but I'll definitely visit the place Avoid weekends.

It was my premiere - but definitely not my debut! Great overall concept, good atmosphere, friendly service staff and most importantly: delicious food. The detour was worth it. The restaurant is ideal for a team outing. The portions are a good size so that no one has to leave the restaurant hungry. The only point of criticism: the vegetarian burger should be included on the lunch menu. 🙏🍔🍟 But the tarte flambée was also super tasty. 😋

Always happy to go on a flight!

We stayed in the chalet, super cute and cozy! Sometimes you wait a little longer until someone from service comes again, but overall everything is good. If the door is left open for a longer period of time because of the service, it gets “fresh” very quickly. The food was very nice, although it took a little long, but that wasn't dramatic either. Overall, a nice, cozy evening with very fine food (it wasn't so good at one point, but now it's great again!).

Quality of the fondue was excellent; Service extremely friendly and accommodating. The star was deducted because unfortunately it took more than 1.5 hours from the time the order was placed until the fondue was on the table. And when reordering bread, almost individual portions were brought each while we were a group of 25 people. It's a shame because the location, service (3rd year learners) and taste of the food were excellent!

Very hospitable! The food is always perfect and prepared with a lot of love. The menu is small and fine and every dish is a poem. Meat lovers and vegetarians alike will get their money's worth. The aperitif platter as well as the garlic pinsa with beetroot mousse are the perfect introduction

New Year's Eve menu Fondue-Chinoise 90.- not worth the price... Service friendly but not attentive... I'm totally disappointed... I forgot to order and we had to wait to pay until we had to check out. Please go over the books…. 90.- for meat at Chinoises just put on the plate and that's just leftover cuts... sorry that's not possible...

Great place, great (!) food warranting the higher than average prices. This place must get busy on nice days if it’s already this busy on a rainy day. Great find!

The new ambience is wonderfully cozy and harmonious, the service was courteous and friendly despite the large crowds. Only the fries were a big disappointment... they were drowned in frying oil! But we'll be back and hope for improvement :-)

The food and drink is expensive if you are there with the family, a lot adds up. The ambience is great with the planes landing and taking off. The seats outside are rather uncomfortable and have no backrest.

Unfortunately the prices are a bit high for a self-service restaurant. A small carrot cake for Fr. 6.50. The selection is very poor, no pastries, no ice cream sticks, nothing. There isn't even tea in the self-service restaurant. A pity.

We are thrilled and will be back soon! The service was great and attentive & the food was fantastic.

Just always great, inside and out. There is an absolutely great and cozy atmosphere inside. The new hall is the same and it's great to hang out outside in the summer. The great spare rips are an insider tip. The best ribs we've ever eaten! A completely different feeling since the renovation, but the food was great (all fresh products and super tasty), the room seems bigger and brighter, less decoration, which has lost some of its charm and uniqueness, but still very great. We would like to come again!

Small restaurant next to the airport. Well, the little restaurant has a lot to offer. Top quality when it comes to food, beautifully decorated rooms and the terrace leaves nothing to be desired. And the staff… Super friendly. Will definitely come back 😊👍

After a break of more than a year, we visited the Speck restaurant again. The last time we were served a miserable “beer fondue”, an extra charge was made for potatoes and an additional supplement was charged. Unfortunately, no one responsible for the complaint was available at that time. Yesterday's food and service was just as you would like it to be.

Super fine food and nice service. The dessert menus were all pretty dirty and needed to be cleaned urgently. Otherwise everything was great. We will be back.

Service and food like in a 5 star restaurant

We've been going to the Speck restaurant for months. The cuisine and especially the burgers are simply world class! The service is quick and friendly! Always worth a visit!

Very good food. Excellent service, always time for a few nice words. We always enjoy coming back. Our dog is never a problem either and gets some water and a few extra cuddles.

Dear Speck team! Thank you for a wonderful baptism celebration! The whole family really enjoyed it, had fun and, above all, tasted incredibly great! As already "threatened", this was not our last visit with you ;) We can only recommend both the restaurant and the excursion terrace to everyone!

Ambience is nice,food is nice friendly service, but there were a lot of flies while we were eating, we hope they can put a repellent on the flies,for the health of the customer.

We visited the Restaraunt Speck as a wedding party. As an aperitif there were various Flammkuchet which tasted excellent. For dinner there were various salads and grilled meat from the smoker with various homemade sauces. Everything was perfect and very tasty. Unfortunately, the food remained good. As a wedding party, I cannot recommend the restaurant, despite the good food, for the following reasons: - There was far too little food at the aperitif, so the guests complained. - We had dinner in a room that was air-conditioned and something else. We had to wolf down the food in 30 degree temperatures so we could get back outside as quickly as possible. - Service staff made a rather unprofessional impression - The main service person was extremely unfriendly. -Red wine was at room temperature from the start (i.e. 30 degrees). When you pointed this out to the service staff, they said, yes, you can't expect anything else in this heat. - The fact that we used the garden terrace to cool off was also only tolerated with gnashing of teeth by the service staff. - When you asked if you could put the tables on the garden terrace together, the first thing you said was: “No, otherwise you’ll have to undo that the next day.” - And finally, the restaurant sent the entire party home at midnight because they didn't have permission to serve alcohol after midnight. I've been to quite a few weddings. But I have never experienced such behavior from an inn that advertises events etc.

A nice place and good food. The staff very friendly. We ate outside. The only thing I have to complain about is the uncomfortable chairs. A seat cushion on the chairs and benches would be something!? Or perhaps more comfortable chairs. Nevertheless.. we'll be back :-)

As regular guests, we were in Speck today and wanted to sit outside. The terrace was fully booked. Two people sat at a table for six. When we asked the waiter if we could sit with them, he said they had reserved and then he wouldn't even ask if he could sit someone in.... In a garden restaurant, which, mind you, is not decorated in white, but carries the slogan a glatti pub for alli :-( we're just one house away.

On Friday at the air show I treated myself to 3 drinks and a Bruger for 38 francs. After paying, the woman said it didn't work and I should give the card again. I told her that it had been debited from my account. I have now paid 38 francs twice and have been trying for the past week to get the restaurant to transfer my 38 francs back. They don't answer my calls and always put me off. They have a big one right now. Event I should call again later. Or that the management is not present Is this your new scam to rip off customers or is your management just too lazy to work? I expect an answer immediately and a refund of the 38 francs. Otherwise I'll file a report because I enjoy it.

Cozy lunch on the terrace. It's very good, the rest of it was packaged well. The staff are very friendly and attentive and I would be happy to work again.

It's great outside. It's way too loud inside. The waiter's humor is very special - not my thing. Service overall so-so. Food was good. Sausage salad with fries.

The food is great, the service is very friendly and quick. My mixed plate from the smoker was a very small portion for the price, which is a shame. The online reservation system doesn't seem to be working very well yet; you can make a reservation, but then you don't get a final confirmation. The bottom line is that it’s still worth recommending!

We were really looking forward to the best chnobli bread around and the hottest green sauce ever! And then along comes this Chnobli focaccia...whatever that was. It was good, but unfortunately it doesn't come close to the "old" one 😭 When we asked, we were told off that it was just the way it was now and that others liked it. Too bad, too bad, too bad Different is not always better. Since the old boss is no longer with us, things have been going steadily downhill, but the arrogance has gone uphill, hence the lack of staff.

The food and service were tip top. There were three of us there on Mother's Day, even though we had reserved, we sat at the regulars' table, a bit uncomfortable. In general it was very loud, especially since we were sitting next to each other, it was almost impossible to have a conversation. It was great that the dog was also welcome and we were given water.

Today, Mother's Day…… specially reserved a table for dinner. The reservation was confirmed and we assumed that we would be welcomed and served with the well-known “good” service. We've been going to the Speck restaurant for many years and unfortunately there won't be a continuation story after today. We were hardly greeted and our reservation was the regulars' table. Three people at a big round table is not what we expected on Mother's Day. It was uncomfortable, the table wasn't set and it felt like a makeshift solution. We ordered an aperitif and after asking again from the waiter (unfortunately very unfriendly) we received our ordered drinks and he wanted to set the table quickly. We informed him that we probably wouldn't be staying for dinner. Well, what can we say... other than an okay there was nothing. He didn't care why we didn't want to stay and we even suspected that he was happy that we were leaving. This has actually never happened to us before. I worked in the catering industry for many years and this behavior is a “no go”. When the reservation limit was reached, no more reservations were accepted. That would be fairer than such treatment. Just a few months ago we were TOP satisfied and my rating here was also top. Now, unfortunately, I can only ask in astonishment: “REAL NOW?” Too bad….unfortunately I have to give one star……but today you don’t even deserve that.
