Very friendly team. I had the Kokotsu Ramen which tasted good. Price-performance didn't convince me. Personally, the portion was too small and the side dishes too sparse. There is only Japanese beer for 8-9 CHF a bottle.

Very good restaurant, the ramen is a real culinary delight. Izakaya Kinomi is lovingly furnished, the pictures and music make the ambience perfect. The owners of the restaurant are always friendly and strive to conjure up the tastiest dishes on the table. I recommend this establishment to all gourmets and Japan lovers.

Ramen isn't really our taste, but we didn't know what to choose from the menu. Very nice service. The prices are very high for Polish budgets, especially for only two soups and two colas. Our most expensive ramen so far.

It is a restaurant with great “variety” on its menu. There are 2 people who carry it. The person who serves and the cook. They have a good disposition but the truth is that we lacked attention. With just one person to serve approximately 25 people who fit in the restaurant, it is too much. It is a pity. Because they have good intentions.

The waitress was very nice and willing to answer our questions. On this point I would give it 5 stars without any ifs or buts. Unfortunately the menu looked different. We ordered agedashi tofu with rice. According to the instructions, the tofu should have been served firm and fried in a tempura sauce, but instead we received raw silken tofu floating in a soup. Unfortunately, our expectations didn't quite match reality.

Today I ate Tonkotsu Ramen with you for the first time. The taste of the broth was great, the egg had the perfect consistency and the meat simply melted in your mouth. I really liked it and will come by there often🙏🏽

The food is excellent. I've never had such good takoyaki outside of Osaka. The sushi and pork belly menu were also delicious as was the Unagi Don. An experience in a cozy restaurant with very friendly service and a friendly chef who loves cooking.

The sushi is excellent! Very fresh and there is something for every taste as the selection is very large. The service was extremely good, very friendly and accommodating. We can recommend the restaurant but reserve in advance as it is very small!

Food tasted OK but was overpriced. The ramen noodles weren't even cooked properly. We got a big chunk of balled-up, uncooked noodles in our bowl of Ramen. Terrible. The worst thing was a bottle of water which costs less than 1 chf was sold for 12 chf at this restaurant. Total rip off. The experience did not match the reviews I read here. Very disappointed. Edit - In response to the message from the owner... 1. I visited the restaurant on the 6th of August with my partner. I might still have the bill somewhere but why do I have to prove it anyway? 2. I wish I could have mentioned it directly to you but I was in a hurry to catch a train back to Zurich and didn't want to bother getting into an argument about it in the end. What could you have done in any case? We had waited at least 20+ minutes for our Ramen and found the uncooked portion in the middle of the meal. As I already mentioned, we had a train to catch. I could not have waited to return the half eaten Ramen and wait for a new portion. It also wasn't a health code issue that I had to stop eating the Ramen. So I did what was best, keep aside the uncooked noodles, finish the food and leave. 3. I have no doubt that Switzerland is expensive since I've lived here for over half a decade. I also know that the location of your restaurant makes it more expensive than another restaurant in some inner alley of the town. But when I pay 12 chf for a bottle of water I would expect a bottle of good mineral water, not a terrible tasting bottled water which comes in a cheap plastic bottle. I'm sorry, but charging 10x more for a bottle of water is a huge profit margin. 4. The food felt overpriced only because of the quality of the food we got for that price. If I was sensitive about the price, I would not have even visited your restaurant. 5. I missed in my original review that the service was good. Both the waitress and the chef were polite. I can see the passion you have to open a Japanese restaurant in Switzerland. I recognize the hard work and commitment from your side. I just wish the food was better. There's always room for improvement. I wish you the best.

Nicely appointed Japanese restaurant. The terrace in the old town in a prime location. Unfortunately, the dishes were too bland and therefore far from umami. The waitress was very friendly, but we had to wait too long for our orders. We definitely know better Japanese restaurants than this. Answer for the owner: We will be in your restaurant on the evening of July 2nd, 2022. And according to Google Map, we waited over two hours for two dishes.

Bland and disappointing dishes. Friendly but slow waitress. We had ordered tokoyakis in addition to chicken skewers, they were never served and we were literally left hungry. too bad because the setting is really nice in the old town. to eat Japanese we will clearly go elsewhere.
