Jaffna Kitchen - Taste of Jaffna in Fehraltorf

Today we went to the “Jaffna Kitchen” as a family and tasted an extremely delicious, authentic and varied Sri Lankan buffet. The family service was very nice and funny.😃 We felt very comfortable and will definitely come again!

We can't judge the ambience since we ordered home. Today was our first time eating from Jaffna Kitchen. The delivery came very quickly and the person was also very friendly and explained everything to us in detail, like what we had to eat and which sauce went with what. The best Sri Lankan food I've had in Switzerland so far. Fast delivery and extremely friendly and courteous employees. We ordered four dishes, all of which were very, very tasty. Very good value for money.

Lifer service, therefore ambience cannot be rated. Very friendly and warm explanation from the delivery service. The food was super tasty, slightly spicy, not for people who can't tolerate spicy at all. We will certainly order again!

Came across the restaurant by chance Very authentic Tamil food, very tasty! The cook is also the owner, you can tell that she has Tamil cuisine in her blood. Kotthu Roti with beef and Biryani with chicken were excellent, she added rice for me, thank you very much!! The starters were very tasty, beef rolls had more meat in them, which is very rare. Yummy!! Fish cutlets were huge, very flavorful, and crispy. We'd love to come back!! :)

Very fine, freshly prepared dishes. The owners are very welcoming. The dishes were explained to us first-time visitors and we were also asked in advance about our desired level of spiciness. The wife cooks with passion and makes her own spice mixtures. There are also typical Sri Lankan desserts, very tasty! We are already looking forward to the next visit. Angelika & Marco

We had the vegetarian rotti. It was visually very pretty, and the taste was simply delicious and wonderfully seasoned - a poem! The price/performance ratio is HAMMER!

We're still working on the signage outside, because you can't tell at first glance that there's a restaurant serving Sri Lankan cuisine there. Highly recommended, we will be back. We were warmly welcomed. Very good food with large portions. The staff is also very friendly. All of our wishes were addressed and every question was explained. Rich samples were included.

We went on a Friday evening for the buffet à discretion. All dishes were incredibly delicious. The desserts, which were also included, were also very good. We order food for the first time today! It was delivered on time and the man kindly explaon to us how to combine the food we got, which was very nice. But the best part was yet to come... The food was exceptional!! Each and every thing we got was delicious👌 The portions were also rich which is a plus! Jaffna Kitchen is added to our favourite restaurants and we will definitely be back😁

When we went to the Jaffna Kitchen in Fehraltdorf on Friday evening, formerly the restaurant Zum Schar eck... Small but nice, we were expecting to see a lot of laughter and great gifts. Including all the guests, the different dishes were explained to us in German and Tamil all over the place... We went As a big family we go home with a full belly - we'll be back... hhhmmmm

We ordered this evening and I can highly recommend the restaurant/delivery service. The food was delivered quickly. The quality of the food is excellent. Very friendly courier, explained everything that was involved in the delivery/menu to us. Everything was packaged separately and the goods were delivered hot :) The spiciness of the food was perfect, we chose European. You will also receive a drink + dessert! You can also pay with Twint. Simply great service! Compliment! TOP!!

Catering for a party of 55 people. I received excellent personal advice in advance. The vegetarian kotu roti and biryani were fantastic and the guests loved it! The matching food warmers and other accessories were provided. Perfect service.

The boss gave us good advice and explained the individual dishes and demonstrated their traditions. The sharpness was good, can be a little sharper next time. Our first visit to Jaffna Kitchen was very positive! We ate Puttu vegi and Kottu Rotti vegi and were thrilled with both menus. It was very delicate and authentic and you could tell that it was fresh and homemade. The conditions are also very friendly and I also really liked the family atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

I have been to Sri Lake for a month, and the food feels very authentic, like in Sri lanka. If you look for good food, that's the place 😋 will be back again 😊

I became aware of this wonderful restaurant through the recommendation of my friend from Fehraltorf. I pre-ordered by phone and everything was explained to me in a friendly manner when I had questions about a dish. I was able to pick it up after half an hour. The food was well packaged to take away and lovingly labeled. The dishes we ordered were so delicious! We enjoyed every bite. Thanks @Jaffna Kitchen =)

The buffet on Friday evening was super delicious and actually way too cheap for what it offers. Even a dessert was included (no choice, but special and very good). Big compliments to the landlady, who is also the cook! Her husband served us in a friendly, open and cheerful manner - we almost felt like we were staying with friends. In the evening we had various dishes delivered, starters, main courses and dessert. Everything was very tasty, we would happily order there again. Unfortunately you can only order by phone, but that worked well. The order was delivered fairly quickly and since it was our first time ordering, it was quickly explained to us which dish was which. We received a very friendly welcome and courteous service. You feel warmly welcome in this family business. I was not familiar with this cuisine before. The food was excellent and had something for everyone, from mild to fiery. Small but mighty! The two of us had a cozy dinner with friends, both of whom had professional experience in the hospitality industry. We have never experienced such friendly, warm and attentive service. The restaurant is cozy and brightly decorated. The cuisine is very fine, spicy and Swiss-spicy. We ordered dosa beef and roti with chicken and were allowed to try dessert. Price performance is top. The family business is warm but professional. Gladly again!

A fantastic meal (dosa and biriyani), just a beautiful atmosphere, you feel welcome, very, very friendly service! There was also a special sambal, very tasty. The prices are good too, really recommended! We will come by more often.

We were there on Friday to finish the all-you-can-eat buffet ;), (fun), which would really be possible because everything was so delicious that you could hardly stop!
