Jucker Farm in Seegräben

A perfect location to enjoy nature with stunning views of the lake , the farmland and the backdrop of the snow capped mountains. The farm along with the farmshop and restaurant is well worth the visit. Friendly staff, clean facilities and fabulous food. A perfect day out for all ages. I cannot comment on getting to this beautiful farm by car as we used public transport. Using public transport was really easy. I would recommend getting to Pfäffikon train station. Then walking down to the lake and then a walk of about 1 hour will bring you to the farnshop. The walk is awesome , not hard work at all. It is mostly flat with stunning views all round while being surrounded by nature. Really beautiful.

I love this place. It feels very familiar and old school, but at the same time modern. Most of the things they sell are self made and everything feels high quality. The staff is polite and the food is tasty. They have enough vegetarian options and their apple juice is simply amazing.

Nice place for the kids - lots to discover. But the prices are extremely high... far too high for families, unfortunately. Since you are not allowed to bring your own food, the only choice you have is to pay what they ask for. Quality of food is ok, but not matching the prices.

SEMI EXCITED - GIT BETTER Actually a great courtyard with a view of the lake and mountains and a large buffet for brunch, but there were no more braids, croissants and pancakes at 11 before half time, the staff didn't care?!?! Unfortunately, even with delicious compote, the waffles were like cardboard. The lunch menu later was very tasty with pumpkin risotto & gratin & croissants👏 Parking situation also disorganized. You stand in front of a locked barrier and wait for someone to drive out.

WORST RESTAURANT I'VE EVER ENTERED. 1. The chef (most likely still in training) joked about my figure and said I should take a fitness plate. 2. Food was cold and bland. 3. No Wagyu meat on offer 4. Pumpkin tastes like human urine

Yay, here we go again. A beautiful day and the traffic chaos is back. A collection of signatures from the citizens of Seegräben clearly shows how annoyed the population of Seegräben is about the constant chaos with the Juckerhof. Apparently even over 150 signatures have little weight... There doesn't seem to be a solution and the population somehow feels that the community, which is trying hard, doesn't take it seriously.

Very nice place. There is a lot on offer. On a nice day, hundreds of others know this too... Try some ice cream. I had vanilla ice cream - can only recommend it

Self-service and such high prices, super cheeky

Pure tourist magnet and mass processing. You don't hear much German here anymore. Very expensive. Itchy.. Who cares?

The Juckerfarm in Seegräben is a beautiful and quiet place for all ages. The following is possible here: -Saturday and Sunday brunch -Garden labyrinth -Walk close to nature and especially the lake -Pumpkin exhibition in autumn -Team dinners/events I've been here a few times for brunch. Everyone who was there is still thrilled. Price performance is right! (40 CHF per person, from 13 years, for children 7-12 it is 20 CHF and from 0-6 it is free) The selection of fresh and local / own products is very tasty and generous! I recommend the pumpkin jam, the pumpkin soup and the house-made sweet cider. There is also a fresh selection of lunch options from 11:30 a.m. Warm drinks are included. It's casual, clean and a lovely experience for all ages! Addendum: the prices will change / increase from March 24.

Basically really nice. In my opinion too expensive and far too many visitors. Visit either early or late. Something in between for people who lack or desire social interaction. Take public transport, especially on a nice weekend.

Perfect location for a family excursion. Great food at the self-service restaurant with welcoming staff and overall wonderful location with a farm, orchard, petting zoo, view on the Pfäffiker See etc. Always worth a visit. Only thing to critize is the parking situation which is a nightmare at weekends or holiday season (way to few parking slots and there is only one single car park in the area - if you don’t find a spot there you have to go to the Aathal train station and try your luck there which feels like 100 km away and is located downhill which means you have to go up hill back to get to the farm. For an adult this should not be a problem - however, don’t try it with small kids who have their moments and a whole bunch of stuff you need to keep them “alive” like a buggy, packbacks etc. - trust me I’ve been in that special kind of hell).

Absolutely beautiful 🥰 Being able to go up to the little goats and pet them is a great experience for children. The view is a WoW. You can eat and drink well and you can also shop 🤩. Definitely a must 👍.

Very good food and the pumpkin exhibition is just cool every year

...I like to buy fresh vegetables, a fine cheese, some meat, a souvenir for an invitation, etc. in the farm shop. Unfortunately, the farm shop is mostly deserted in January and the displays are presented accordingly. What a pity!!

I'm so disappointed. One of them was at school with me; we used to bring clothes for Juker's children. Today he makes money from rip-offs in the store. And now ask for money for parking spaces. Totally wrong. Fewer apple trees and parking spaces make for visitors. W

A combination of farm, shop and restaurant. Many natural products made by themselves and a very cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended a visit.

Very nice and a blast for children

Suggestive place overlooking the lake. Fruit and vegetables at 0 cm. Bakery products. The cakes are delicious. Exposed white art workshop. Restaurant, bar and event centre. Equipment and machinery visible in the nearby spaces demonstrate that it is a company where people work every day. There are several toilets in several places. Clean, well-kept and attractive general environment. The scenery changes according to the seasons, but even in the rain it still has its charm. Even if you don't want to buy anything, this farm remains a very interesting place to visit. At times of large crowds, nearby parking becomes subject to charges.

Always a real pleasure to have a walk around the farm . They do amazing Halloween decorations. Their brunch is of amazing level on quality, choice and quantity

We were here for brunch...for just under 50 per person. You have to walk from the buffet across the courtyard with food that is at most lukewarm and, when the temperature outside is around 0°, is immediately cold when you get to your seat. You also have to go to another corner outside to put your dishes because there is no service. For example, brunch includes orange juice. You can't find this here and the reason was: "We don't have any orange trees". I think it's clear that there are no orange trees here! You shouldn't take guests for fools! For dishes that are seasoned blandly, there isn't even salt and pepper or anything like that at the table. For me and the price, never again Juckerfarm. I'm happy to pay for great performance but that's definitely not the case here. The parking situation has already been mentioned enough times...

Friendly staff, great exhibition, delicious cake

According to the internet, open until 5 p.m. Stood in front of a locked entrance door at 4:30 p.m. Are sad. The metal door that leads from the parking lot across the meadow to the farm was locked with a chain lock. There was no indication that another route would lead to the farm. Besides us, there were two other disgruntled guests. Please post signposts in the future.

It is a nice place to visit during pumpkin show times and spend some time with family, especially children.

The pumpkin exhibition is great. Otherwise it's not always so relaxed - it's literally overrun and the prices are really tough.

The location is great, no question. But the food is like in a canteen: mass processing on the cake tray. Coffee comes from a machine. To make the chai latte, you press the machine for milk and water twice and put a bag in it. Then a shot of Monin syrup is poured in and a chai tea bag. It tastes terrible - 7 francs for that. No thanks! Update: Thanks for your answer - but I have to disagree: Take coffee, for example, with the right machine and 1 or 2 more people on staff you can get it even without a machine, that should be included given the price and the number of visitors ;-) especially since I think you're making a decent profit :) well, it'll be fine!

Very a nice place. I would visit everyone during the week if possible. Because weekends are usually always crowded. You usually park at the train station and walk about 15 minutes to the Juckerhof… For parents with small children, you are welcome to take a stroller with you.

What was very nice, the food was good, the people were very friendly, we found great pumpkins and bought a lot in the farm shop. Will definitely come back. 😊

Great innovative farm. Pumpkins and food stands, petting zoo, barefoot path, etc. Unfortunately the place is so popular that it's starting to get too many people. My recommendation: public transport and go during the week

IMPORTANT: If you're driving, come early or expect a long steep uphill walk from the dinosaur museum! Parking situation aside, we love this place! They have food, events, and a little shop for farm made groceries. The pumpkin sculptures in October are definitely worth the visit.

It seems that the Juckerhof follows the spirit of the times (Vogue). Therefore, the theme “Women Power” was chosen as the theme this year. We have therefore decided not to visit the farm this year. I hope that the Juckerhof will no longer be used as a political platform. Animals and figures should be exhibited again, something that has a connection to the family. Or maybe it's the family and children, which is no longer current or outdated...?

Great choice of vegetarian food in the restaurant and beautiful views over the Pfäffikersee and to the Glarner Alps. Go early or the small parking is full and you’ll have 20-25 minutes of walking.

Very nice place , just in front of the Lake with great view. Also the atmosphere is relaxing and the food is exceptional. We have been there for the pumpkin month, just 45 min by train from Zurich

I'm not so much into pumpkins but it seems that they have every year a theme. Also, damn, that apples juice and nacho chips+dip is good..

Great place for a sunday in the nature. They have pumpkins in all shapes. Super tasty fried pumpkins with cocktail sauce. You must try it

Again a great experience of Art with Pumpkins. Every year they are able to make me go „Awh“ again. Only reason no 5 stars is the parking. Trying to find a parking space is madness. There could be a field rented and a shuttle going to the farm. There is even money to be made with this.

Regarding the high prices: yes, it's more expensive, but you don't have to pay an entrance fee :) and wherever it's nice you'll pay money, that's just how the world is, especially in Switzerland

The pumpkin display at Jucker Farm was simply spectacular! The variety of pumpkins on display was impressive and the atmosphere was very inviting. The food on site was delicious, freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. No matter whether you are young or old, it is definitely worth visiting this farm and enjoying the diverse activities.

Nice place to visit with family and young kids, a beautiful view on the lake, many activities to do for kids children and parents, was a little bit crowded on a weekend. Food locally made is delicious, shops are amazing. Car parking extremely expensive but easy to access.
