Very nice, delicious cakes and fine coffee. Sweetly furnished.

Holy deliciousness! Travelled an hour for this cafe because I heard about the cakes and loafs and it is all true! It is a slice of heaven!!!!! The fig and cinnamon loaf is to die for! Also when the slice came to me I thought “no way I’ll be able to finish it!” It was all gone!

We were lucky and were able to get a spot spontaneously on a Sunday, but it's worth making a reservation for brunch. Very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and large and delicious breakfast buffet. I was pleased that there were gluten and lactose free alternatives.

Cozy, friendly and professional, high quality - just a little different!

The food and coffee are delicious, no question. It's also comfortable to sit on. Unfortunately the service leaves something to be desired. The waiters just walk past and ignore the guests. When you tried to order at the counter you were told that there was service. It would be nicer (more appropriate) to at least take the order instead of sending us out and still not serving us after >20 minutes.

Nice place that I can recommend to everyone. But it's not enough for a complete 5 stars.

I ordered hash browns with a fried egg there this morning and it had a hair in it. It was terrible. I immediately showed the waiter but still had to pay for the hash browns. That is rude. I find that rude and disrespectful. I would never go there again. It's not hygienic at all.

It was a really delicious breakfast. I had hash browns with fried eggs, bacon and cheese 😋 I also like the tea specialties and fine cakes. My favorite drink is the London Fog. In general it is my favorite cafe in Rapperswil.

Very friendly staff, prices are a little high but okay. I've been able to take food and drinks here a few times, they weren't anything special, but that's not a big deal. If you are in Rapperswil and want to enjoy a coffee, this is a very suitable place to do so.

It's also great that you can take a coffee break there

Super nice and cozy coffee. For me, absolute No. 1 in Rapperswil! The service is very friendly and attentive. The food is simple but very tasty. I can highly recommend the chocolate amaretti or banana bread as a small delicacy with coffee. 😉

Everything was good, very comfortable and pleasantly furnished.

I was there on October 11th, 2020. In my opinion, they have no COVID-19 protection concept. I felt very, very uncomfortable.

I think the concept is brilliant and the food is also delicious. Staff is very friendly, unfortunately sometimes a bit stressed. Children's corner could be furnished a little more lovingly.

Food and service made with love and professionalism

The two points are for the service staff and the ambience. The cappuccino looked nice but unfortunately it was really hard to drink. So hot that you get burned and the coffee also tastes burnt. They offer oat milk but it really wasn't foamed well.

The outside of the café wasn't very attractive but we sat down. When I went in to place the order I was pleasantly surprised! The showcases showed a huge selection of freshly baked delicacies. From salty to sweet! Excellent! Service: nice gentleman. Solid advice, we really enjoyed the food (Focaccia Chicken Salad)! Kitchen: great. You can tell that the food is freshly prepared. Salad was crisp and clean, focaccia soft and airy, reminds me of a salty brioche version. Simply delicious. Chicken wasn't dry - nice and juicy and fried with lots of onions. There's nothing to complain about! Thanks for the hospitality!

A coffee with culinary highlights. During Corona times there is a good protection concept when ordering food. And I ate perhaps the best house burger in recent years. Fine homemade coffee and various cakes and sweet pastries are always available. A great restaurant with friendly and fast service.

Here you can sit beautifully on the market square in Rapperswil, look out over the castle and the great old town and enjoy the really delicious things. I particularly liked that there were several gluten-free cakes and dishes. For me, a visit to a café often just means a cup of coffee.

A must visit. It's worth an experience, also because of the very attentive and busy boss. The offering is very broad and tasty. A pleasure on multiple levels. Just great.

Service staff is friendly. The boss was very unsympathetic and asked me and my colleagues several times when we were leaving the place even though we had consumed 90 CHF (and were still drinking) at a meeting together. Next door, students at a table who were sitting with books and laptops (and who consumed far less than us) were not even asked when they would give up their space. It's a shame because the food is very good - but I wouldn't recommend it. Personal details regarding coronavirus were not recorded as required for groups of 4 or more people, but not at all. This should be reconsidered, especially in such a poorly ventilated café.

Trendy, current coffee that exudes some international flair. Here in tranquil Rapperswil you almost feel like you are in a metropolis. The menu selection is clear. Soups, sandwiches, salads and many sweet delicacies such as muffins, tarts, cakes, etc. make the choice not so easy. The consumption is ordered at the counter with an extensive and attractive display and paid for immediately. Once the drinks and dishes have been prepared, they are served by the employees. In summer, the tables in front of the coffee on the main square are very popular. Inside there is a tidy cosiness.

The cafe is very nicely done. Food and drink are also very good. Sometimes the staff isn't quite up to 5 stars yet. If you prefer to be served at the table, you've come to the wrong place.

Very diverse and good coffee creations, very tasty cakes and a fine breakfast and lunch menu. Sweet furnishings and a great location in the old town (with an outdoor terrace). Therefore it is always very busy, even if it is one of the more expensive cafés in Rapperswil. Free tap water for self-service, which I think is great You order at the counter, pay straight away and the order is then brought to the table. However, I had to stand in line at the checkout for the last three times for 10 to 15 minutes and repeatedly dodge passing guests in order to be able to order at all. That shouldn't be the case, especially because you then have to wait about the same amount of time for the coffee you ordered. I've also found the staff to be very hesitant and sometimes annoyed lately, which is somewhat detrimental to the coziness of this location.

Always happy to come here for an exchange meeting or a reading hour with newspapers from the newspaper corner. My favorite dishes are the sweet potato fries and the raspberry slices with cream.

Favorite cafe in the area. Excellent coffee, homemade desserts are top, but sometimes by the end of the day they run out of cakes when it's too busy. Menu itself is not big, mainly burgers and salads, some pastry and daily offer. Burger was Ok, portion of Cesar salad is huge, but one can also order half portion. One note - on weekends kitchen takes orders till 16.00. Seating both inside and outside very comfy. Update: we still love this place and will definitely will go again. But! So much disappointment lately: 11:50 you can't order breakfast any more although menu says till 12:00, next - we arrive 17:20, no more coffee as they have cleaned the machine. Really? Than why it's says you are working till 18? Definitely should be improved, otherwise, best place!

Very fine coffee and wonderful pastries.

I am always a guest at this restaurant. Sometimes I think it's better, sometimes less. The staff is mostly friendly. This has changed significantly in the last few months. The selection of dishes, such as cakes and the like, are very tasty. I'm less into the super healthy chia, avocada etc. dishes but these also look good and certainly are. The coffee, especially the cappuccino, is my highlight! :-) The restaurant is nicely decorated. It is often overcrowded and therefore very loud. In summer it is pleasant to sit outside.

Original and attractive furnishings. Feel-good mode. Fine coffee (served) and cake buffet makes the choice difficult.

Nicely furnished restaurant in country house style. Personally, the breakfast selection didn't appeal to me as I usually choose butter, jam and bread. In the end I had to choose a meat plate that I would rather eat later. The bread that went with it was very nice. The brioche was also tasty.

Already ready for the beautiful autumn days and the wonderful Advent season in Rapperswil.

Very cozy, furnished with a lot of love, delicious cakes and good food which are served very well prepared. Staff very friendly despite many guests. Inside it's like a living room.

Once we translated the self-service instructions at the table, we ordered a lovely midafternoon meal when a lot of restaurants were closed for the Swissiesta. A lovely selection of pastries to go along with the meal. Ice-cold beer and self-service water station, the zeitung (newspaper) and a sonnenbrille (sun umbrella) made for a lovely respite from a warm afternoon. Enjoyed enormously!

Basically good fresh cuisine, but expensive Update after response from owner on July 5, 2019 Basically, I understand that freshness has its price, but the portion of scrambled eggs is very meager for the price paid. One more egg should be possible.

Cozy Kafi with lots of charm and creative dishes. There the dish becomes a poem and the food becomes a feast! Very nice staff! Busy and a bit crowded at lunchtime, but we still didn't have to wait long. Portions are very generous and affordable. Unfortunately, there is no room left for one of the delicious desserts from the counter.

Nice place to relax and enjoy in the town center. Good cappuccino, and ginger lemon ice tea. Also the fresh orange juice looked great but we haven’t tried it. Prices ok. Note: you need to go to order inside.
