Klinik St.Pirminsberg, St.Gallische Psychiatrie-Dienste Süd in Pfäfers

The best psychiatric hospital I've ever been to (I've spent years in numerous institutions) Diagnoses: ADHD, depression, addiction and chronic pain due to mulltieble orthopedic damage In the last 1.5 years I was an inpatient in the integration department for around 5 months. At the beginning I was suicidal because I could no longer cope with the pain and my ADHD. Ms.Dr. Kranzusch is the best, most patient and most empathetic psychiatrist I have ever met, in my opinion she should be the senior doctor in the house....not to be compared with the current senior doctor whose conceit and arrogance you can sense from a hundred meters away (he's the woodblocks at the doors and chasing away the unofficial monastery cats more important than his patients, that's just my opinion) The nursing staff are extremely friendly and respond very well to the needs of the patients, although I find it unbelievable that they don't already have broken nerves in this industry, especially Ms. Wittwer, who has been working in the industry for 40 years... ...I think nurses should have twice as many vacation days as other industries. The location is also a dream in the middle of the Swiss mountains...but the facility's gardens are also top-notch. Well for the first time in a decade I can finally feel joy again and I'm glad I didn't use Exit last year and after 20 years of searching I can finally call myself cured and can finally live a life with quality of life. The kitchen is also excellent as are the therapy options with the therapists. All in all, I can only say, THANK YOU for giving me the strength to carry on. God bless you. PS: Most of the negative reviews are for me personally - complaining at a high level - you should take a look at psychiatric hospitals in other countries

Not what it used to be! Most of the therapies and therapists would be really great, the environment is nice, it has a sauna and a fitness center. Unfortunately, Station Balance or now “Station for Affective Disorders” is literally worth running away from. The new young staff is trying hard not to fall into the disinterested routine of some of the long-time employees... and some of them are really very nice and incredibly committed... bravo for that! But unfortunately that's not enough, the station is still unusable. The daytime staff (this does not apply to the nighttime staff) seem largely listless, detached, and blind to the work because they have been there for so long. Some employees are even mean, condescending, patronizing anyway. Of course, there are exceptions too. But mostly negative experiences. There is also zero flexibility, sometimes nonsensical actions based on ill-thought-out rules. Do they know why they act like that? I can't even begin to be a psychologist, bad... And the food is unhealthy. It's a shame, healthy eating is so important, especially here... it has shaken my trust in clinics.

They say that they will help you, but they will ruin you more. Dr. Müller Station C is the worst

I would like to subsequently thank the entire Pfäfers Clinic for their commitment and help. I was there for 3 months and was able to work through a lot of things. It's normal that you come out of a clinic not healthy and everything is perfect. Special thanks go to the balance department with its nursing staff, peer employees and of course the psychologists and doctors. If you weren't satisfied here, you should spend some time in the Wil SG clinic, then you'll know how excellent the St. Pirminsberg clinic really is.

I often found the staff good (they don't make much decisions), but the ward management as well as doctors and senior staff were catastrophic. In the emergency room, razor blades are not even taken away from patients (it is the patient's responsibility). In the process, clothes that contained a pentagram or left-wing text were taken away from me. And it was suggested that I cover my “left” tattoos. Report for more details.

Bad caregivers who like to gaslight their patients. The entire staff was unbearable and disrespectful towards me. Maybe it also has something to do with my Serbian roots, as people of Slavic descent are generally worthless in their eyes.

I became even more suicidal there. I asked for an interview for three days and all I was told was that there was NO PSYCHOLOGIST ON THE WARD. Patients are simply pumped with Valium. I was able to make two suicide attempts in the clinic because the night guard didn't show up and there were no therapy sessions other than puzzles and chopping wood. Unfortunately I can't give 0 stars.

Positive: The only clinic I know that offers sauna and massage. Unpleasant: Not suitable for people with eating disorders. You count on independence. And the eating disorder always got in the way and had free rein. Because I simply couldn't eat anything and that was how it was accepted.

You could warn the patients about the assistant doctor. It scares you a little. Not going over so well!

I did an internship at the clinic and was impressed by the dedication of the staff.

At the weekend they let the patients go home, even though they have Corona in the ward, without testing. The staff wears masks, the patients are not told to wear masks. The next day my mother calls me that she has Corona. Otherwise the treatment and information leaves a lot to be desired.

Worst clinic! Incompetent staff. Do not respond to the needs of patients in any way. The senior doctor reduced the amount of medication I urgently needed on the first day without prior consultation. The assistant doctor with whom I was supposed to do therapy spoke practically no word of German...at least I didn't understand 90% of what he said. And I wouldn't even serve the food to my dog.

Good afternoon everyone 🌞 Yes - it is and will be a good day! I owe the fact that this is the case today to the 4-month hospital stay in Pfäfers, St. Pirminsberg Clinic. I spent 4 months there from June to September 2021 to understand and heal my burnout/depression. At this point I would like to thank all the employees of acute department A and the psychotherapy ward 50 plus for their competent, sensitive and warm manner. I find the clinic's concept to be absolutely effective in helping those of us who have stumbled get back on our feet and learn to walk again. Pass and learn to understand. Bad nursing staff. In rooms where masks are required, the rule is often not adhered to. And the clients are not made aware of it either. Very poor organization with the teams, chefs and therapies. You are not taken seriously as a patient.

My brother Antonio De chiara is there, a young man with a disability, he is looked after with love and care, in 2 weeks he gets nine places with many new people, unfortunately in the old home he was not looked after properly (St Jahaneum) but only left and right postponed and that's not possible, a young man needs company, not spearing in a room and pumping with meds, where are we 😨 St Pirminsberg has now regulated my brother's meds, luckily, big thanks and praise to the whole team❤❤❤🙏

An incredibly helpful time for me in the rehab clinic. Even though I'm only 19, I decided to go to rehab in February. At first I was very afraid of it, although the reviews also played a role here. Nevertheless, I did it and I don't regret anything. The most important thing in withdrawal is to always concentrate on yourself and want to improve yourself, not to look at others and not to judge. I was also satisfied with integration in the clinic. I was there for a while. Was a loyal patient and companion. The clinic has changed. Everything is clean and newly renovated. Looks good . But where is the warmth? It's just a modular system with no horizon except for the next wall. Lots of theory and little professional practice. but it will soon be like this everywhere. Stop Swiss masculinity. Father forgives you. You don't know how well you stand there. Sheer selfishness. A pity .

I can only give this institution my highest praise. I was allowed to visit the clinic for my school work and gained insight into all the different areas. The employees are very warm and friendly and are very happy to support young people on their way into the future. The rooms are very close to nature, bright and modern and my visit allowed me to put all my stigmas aside. They attach great importance to giving the public the opportunity to gain an insight into the clinic; society should also learn to use this. Thanks again!

I wouldn't wish this clinic on my worst enemy! A friend of mine was admitted to the clinic. At first it was said she only had to be there for 3-4 weeks, but in the end she spent 3 months there. They changed her medication and she changed quite a bit. She was often absent when you talked to her, hardly laughed, always felt tired/lacking energy and had pretty dark circles under her eyes. That was really bad to see! Really think carefully before you or anyone else gets admitted there.

Anyone who is unlucky enough to come here on a holiday weekend will experience all the bad clichés that are in people's heads. To Ms. Hanselmann: Make sure that psychiatry is finally treated equally to other branches of healthcare!
