A conference hotel in a monastery with great food and very friendly and relaxed employees. Multi-bed rooms are also offered at a reduced price. I will gladly come again.

It's very beautiful there. Plus the Pilgrim brewery. Special beers, plus a brewery cellar and shop. Everything to visit. But even a short, quiet retreat in the monastery church doesn't hurt anyone. It is the same order as Einsiedeln. Benedictine. In addition, a place of pilgrimage to St. Ida of Rothenburg. The magnificent monastery church is a cultural heritage and is under protection. Please google the story. It is just as magnificent as Einsiedeln. Just smaller and quieter due to the location. Kitchen excellent. Local specialities. Hiking and biking area. There are also concerts there and the beautiful surroundings. Located on the Way of St. James. Overnight stay in the monastery hotel. Wonderful rooms and cheap. There are also many international company seminars taking place there. Just go and see and be amazed. There are also guided tours. The archive and the Bräu Keller are worth seeing.

We had a very nice time, lunch was good and the service people were very professional and friendly. We would love to come back 👍

A monastery worth seeing with a beautiful park, a brewery (the beer is recommended) and a good restaurant.

We attended the concert in the monastery church and bought the KonzertKulinarikTicket. A great idea to combine two beautiful experiences. After the concert we had to wait in the restaurant for quite a while until someone greeted us and sent us to the table - no, not escorted us there. We waited there for over a quarter of an hour until we could order a drink, which was then served 10 minutes later. The three courses of the menu were then served quickly at appropriate intervals and we enjoyed them very much. Finally, we ordered an espresso and asked for the bill at the same time. The espresso came quickly, but the bill didn't. Fifteen minutes after we drank the coffee, there was still no bill in sight. So we set off to listen to a few more reasons at the checkout - including no apology - as to why it took so long. In such a great restaurant with such fine food, service standards should be substantially better to provide guests with an overall nice experience. That Sunday evening we drove home with a conflicted feeling in our stomachs.

The chef and personal manager were bottomless, stingy and unfriendly. However, the staff itself was nice and the food was good too.

Excellent combination of local cuisine and locally brewed beer. Imo, go for the amber ;) the brewery which makes the beer is right next door, so if you liked the beer, visiting the brewery and its little shop is worth it :)

That's the kind of hospitality that is practiced there. The stay was my highlight on the pilgrimage. I felt comfortable and welcome.

Beautiful location, cozy restaurant terrace, very beautiful monastery complex. Unfortunately the service was very unprofessional and not friendly. The dishes were not put away and several guests were waiting for their orders and also for them to be able to pay. I saw several guests go to the checkout on their own because they didn't want to wait any longer. When the boss came, everything was done very quickly. I think it's a shame that such a beautiful restaurant with a lot of potential employs such unprofessional, unmotivated staff. The ice cream we ate was good.

Nice to grab a drink or some food in the garden after a hike up the Hörnli, the inside is rather austerely decorated. Staff is friendly.

Stayed in the hotel for a week and ate breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Food was always high quality! The cuisine is of a high standard and has an appealing plate language. I had very different experiences with the service. Sometimes very friendly, open, professional and also prompt. However, some seemed unfriendly or overwhelmed. What I don't want to hear as a guest... when I want to consume a drink in the tavern (self-service) and the staff (probably doing an inventory check) ask me in an unfriendly manner what I'm looking for here. If you do not want to be in the tavern in the afternoon, please ask otherwise or state clear opening hours. I'll be happy to correct it then. The Pilgrim beer, which comes from the monastery's own brewery, is ideal for trying every type and is also worth recommending.

Very good food in a historical atmosphere. Attentive service and large selection of wines. Anyone looking for peace and relaxation has come to the right place. There are also rooms available for overnight stays.

Good food, restauration has been done with superb taste. My favorite was the table furniture and chairs next to the Mattheus room, best design I ever saw. The organ sounds really nice and has a long tradition. People were kind and helpful.

I was at the hotel for two days and I found the food very good. The cordon Bleu was great and the soups also. Maybe they should improve the vegetarian options but some of them were good. I don't know the price though because my company paid for the stay.

Simple card, annoyed and overwhelmed staff - groan when you want to pay with the card, 10 minute wait until you are even assigned a seat. Map is more like a snack stand than a restaurant. Disappointing, because the location would be great!

Das Mittagessen war im Grunde eher als "Vorspeise" zum nachmittäglichen Konzert im wunderschönen barocken Bibliothekssaal gedacht - es wurde dann mehr. Kreative Küche, nicht überkandidelt, sondern einfach gut und schön angerichtet, aufmerksamer Service, Preis/Leistung ausgezeichnet.

Waren heute im Kloster und haben uns spontan zum Essen im Garten entschieden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und unser Essen ausgezeichnet. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Auswahl an offenen Weinen, was aber auch die Wahl vereinfacht. Haben uns entschieden mit Freunden wieder zu kommen.

Impressive monastery complex in Baroque and Rococo style, dating back to the 12th century. A visit, especially the church, is worth it. The restaurant has style and atmosphere. Recommended!

Nice place to stay, attend or give seminars and also eat fine food. Or come to the open-air theater “Zwinglis Frau” in summer 2020 😍 simply a wonderful place for all of this.

Somehow the Fischingen Monastery “crept in” on us. In any case, we come here once or twice a year and enjoy a quiet lunch (and stop by the pilgrim brewery 😁)

A very pleasant place for meetings and seminars. The rooms have a modern bathroom and are otherwise tastefully furnished. The atmosphere is pleasant and the food is excellent. We were really spoiled.

Die Salate taufrisch, creativ angerichtet, das Cordonbleu knusprig fein mit Frischgemüsebouquets, das Kalbsschnitzel zart mit knackigen Gemüse, der Salatteller mit der Toskanawurst was spezielle feines, Preise human anständig, Bedienung hilfreich und freundlich. wenig Gäste, da zu heisses Wetter. der Café stark und heiss. Die Karte zum Lunch klein gehalten, 3 Menüs zur Wahl + etwas à la Carte.Eigene Klosterbrauerei, Wasser von Klosterquelle gratis. Seminargäste anwesend. Der Garten gut frequentiert. ich empfehle diesen Ort meinen Kollegen zur Einkehr, ein Gewinn für die Gastronomie.HeryR,GastronomAD.

Nous avons passé deux nuits et mangé dans ce magnifique cadre qui nous fait remonter le temps avec une belle élégance. Les bâtiments sont superbes et la visite guidée les met idéalement en valeur, surtout en concluant par l’église et son bel orgue. Chambres très confortables et restaurant de qualité tant par le service que par les plats proposés. Les pèlerins connaissent ce haut lieu de spiritualité et il vaut vraiment la peine de s’y rendre pour une très belle découverte.

An einem schönen Sommertag saßen wir auf der Terrasse und hatten regional typischen Kuchen und Kaffee. Der Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Kuchen ein Traum. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten eine Weiterbildung und wurden kulinarisch von der Küche verwöhnt. Äusserst aufmerksames Personal und sehr einfallsreiche und qualitativ hochstehende vegane Küchenvariationen. Freuen uns auf die weiteren Ausbildungstage. Sehr zu empfehlen

Wir besuchten die Kirche dieses Klosters und gingen im Restaurant zum Tee. Es gab ein paar selbst gebackene Torten und Kuchen! Sie verkaufen die in ihrer Brauerei produzierten Biere.

Ich hatte die Gelegenheit diese Woche an einem Seminar im Kloster Fischingen teilzunehmen. Das Haus hat einen tollen Charakter. Die alten Gemäuer wurden stilvoll mit modernen Elementen restauriert. Die Zimmer sind gross und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Sehr gute Betten - man schläft wunderbar!Das Essen (Frühstücksbuffet wie auch Mittags- und Abendessen) hat uns sehr gefallen. Nettes Personal.Das Haus ist auch für Ferien und Erholung zu empfehlen; liegt in einer schönen Landschaft.

Abbiamo alloggiato un fine settimana nel convento. Le camere hanno nomi di santi, sono spaziose e confortevoli. La qualità del sonno è ottima data l’assoluta tranquillità, il materasso e il cuscino di qualità. Nelle camere la doccia, il gabinetto ed il lavabo sono in due box di vetro opaco. Soluzione adatta ad una coppia “collaudata” data la poca privacy...Il personale è molto gentile.Abbiamo cenato due sere al ristorante, i piatti erano sempre di buona qualità e presentati bene. Bisogna fare attenzione agli orari del servizio!! La sera il ristorante, aperto solo se ci sono prenotazioni, fa un orario un po’ ridotto: dalle 17:45 alle 19:00. La seconda sera siamo arrivati alle 19:10 e la cameriera ci ha fatto gentilmente accomodare anche se ...era un po’ tardi.Seguendo un itinerario, segnato su un prospetto, vale la pena visitare il complesso. Il sabato fanno degustazioni in birreria ( birre stagionali e classiche molto particolari!)Chi vuole può partecipare alle preghiere dei monaci benedettini.Bellissima la cancellata della chiesa re la cappella di Santa Idda.

An und für sich sollte man von der Gastro-Crew des Kloster Fischingen mehr erwarten dürfen.Aber jeder soll man einen "schlechten" Tag erwischen dürfen.Obwohl unsere Gruppe (13 Personen) eine Woche im Voraus angemeldet war, der Apéro schriftlich fixiert/bestätigt wurde, war am "Tag X" nichts bereit, mit Wartezeiten verbunden und der Apéro entsprach nicht der Vereinbarung.Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war/ist stark verbesserungsfähig.Schade.
