In summer the garden seating area is always full in the afternoon and often at lunchtime too. It's best to make a reservation in the evening, then you're on the safe side.

Plenty of shade outside and pleasantly quiet. (Unfortunately there was a lot of smoking. The restaurant can't do anything about that 😉) We really liked Restaurant Kreuz. Not too big a map. The meal was very tasty (cordon bleu piccante and tartare gratinated with Café de Paris). Two dishes that we haven't eaten/seen anywhere before. Plus super nice and super friendly staff. We enjoyed the evening.

Die 3 Sterne gibt es nur deswegen, weil das Essen wirklich sehr sehr gut ist. Der Service hingegen ist mehr als verbesserungsfähig... Nachdem wir bei unserem ersten Besuch schon nicht überzeugt waren, weil die falsche Beilage gebracht wurde und der Umgang mit diesem Fehler zu wünschen übrig liess, wollten wir dem Restaurant wegen der schönen Lage und dem guten Essen nochmals eine Chance geben. Unglaublicherweise schafften sie es nicht nur, auch beim 2. Besuch die falsche Beilage zu bringen, sondern der Service war generell sehr unaufmerksam. Nie kam der Herr in unsere Ecke, wir mussten jedes Mal nach vorne gehen und ihn rufen, wenn wir etwas bestellen oder bezahlen wollten. Zu allem Überfluss mussten wir auch noch fast eine Stunde auf den Hauptgang warten. Das hätten wir verziehen (es war viel los an diesem Abend), wenn man es wenigstens mal für nötig befunden hätte, uns zu informieren, dass es länger dauert, und sich zu entschuldigen. Leider war das nicht der Fall, schade.

Das Tatar war gut, der Service auch. Lokal selber nur wenig einladend.
