Very fine food and top service. Recommended.

The food is basically wonderful. However, in my opinion, the portions of the main courses (with the exception of the fitness plate) are rather small. The pate in particular is not enough. In addition, it would be nice to have a few (more) vegetables (with every main course). The bread with the salad was bone dry and not edible. Please be sure to buy decent bread. The ice cream, on the other hand, is great. The atmosphere in the main hall is rather uninviting and it is extremely loud! It's also a shame that there is no menu online.

11/12/23 at 12 p.m. We celebrated a birthday with our family. Since I have an allergic reaction to celery, I told the service employee directly when ordering our food. This is also noted on the dessert menu so that any allergies can be reported to the service staff. He was slightly irritated and tried his best. Suddenly the chef rushed to our table stressed and asked again. I explained the situation to him. We found a solution. Before he stormed back into the kitchen, he said, very stressed, that next time we should report this when making the reservation, because he didn't have time for a special order today because the place was full. Then we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes. until our food finally came. I find it very unfortunate that we allergy sufferers still have to justify ourselves and are served like this despite the clear declaration on the cards. Because when it's busy, we also have the right to visit a restaurant without having to justify ourselves and we can have a nice time with a certain amount of discomfort.

Wild - Wilder - Sensational The restaurant is in a rural location and the decor is traditionally simple and cozy. The welcome from the service was very warm and friendly. You can feel the passion for hospitality. The game menu is clear with good dishes. The quality of the meat is very tasty. The garnish on the plate is varied and offers a lot. For my taste it should be a little less, but I would have liked more red cabbage and homemade spaetzle. In summer, the terrace offers additional ambience with a beautiful view. The Restaurant Kreuz also offers very fine menus for catering, which do not diminish in quality as in the restaurant. Reservation recommended.

Birthday meal on a full moon evening. Wild sliced ​​meat with wild mushrooms, served with spaetzli and vegetables. The concept with the grill and salad buffet is very cool. In contrast to many other places, the vegetarian offering is also very good. The view from the terrace is mega. If I hadn't received a recommendation from someone, I probably would never have driven past it. Now I have another address for a fine meal.

When the weather is nice, watching the sunset on the terrace with excellent food is unforgettable.

We've eaten there several times. The salad buffet is great, the meat is average. But the service is the reason why I'm writing something here. the service is underground. Stressed rude, you won't be served. That's why we just left without having accomplished anything. We have also been charged for wine even though we never drink wine. We were there for the last time today!

We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food we ordered exceeded our expectations. Actually, you can confidently recommend everything here. However, I would particularly like to highlight the whiskey steak, the lamb and the apple fritters. Of course, the large selection of fresh salads at the "until you've had enough" buffet shouldn't be missed. Price performance is one hundred percent right here. Be sure to reserve a table in advance if you want to be sure of having a seat. We had a pleasant evening with fine food in a cozy atmosphere and very nice staff. Conclusion: highly recommended!

I couldn't decide whether I wanted tongue or sure mock with a hard stick. Half and half would have been too much effort for the cook and my request was rejected. Especially that in other restaurants in the Ämmental you can do this without gnashing your teeth... Maybe, even if you have a good name, you should pay a little more attention to the guest... and there is no extra effort... With You just lose guests like this! Or?

We have celebrated many family celebrations here and will continue to celebrate our celebrations here in the future. Price/performance top. The restaurant offers something for everyone and the most wonderful thing is the salad buffet, which makes our hearts and my children's hearts soar.

Beautiful, large, solid terrace with a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. The coffee and cake are fine. And the service was quick and attentive. There are enough parking spaces 😊🍀

We were on the terrace at Kreuz Schlosswil last night. The view and the evening atmosphere were great in this weather. The service, cuisine and therefore the overall offering were just as great. Michael and his team are doing a great job, thank you very much. The friendliness is great and the boss brings the grilled food to the table himself despite the house being full and a huge crowd of guests. If you don't even go there, it's your own fault 😊

Food was good, salad buffet was great, but unfortunately the chef de service was in a miserable mood. Because we didn't like the corn from the salad buffet, we left it alone. Then the service came and said in an unfriendly voice, "but you're not serious," referring to the leftover corn. I also don't like to produce food waste and I rarely produce it, but reacting like that to the guest is not possible either.

Be careful, you will have to wait up to an hour for your food. The fact that it takes so long is not communicated. The food was good. The view and the terrace is nice.

There are plenty of parking spaces on site and a bus stop in the immediate vicinity. Unfortunately the weather was a bit overcast, which is why the terrace was not open. When the weather is nice, the wonderful view with a salad buffet and an XXL grill is highly recommended. Otherwise, the service and the ambience were really very pleasant. The food was difficult to choose despite the small menu and was really excellent. Definitely coming back next time you visit Switzerland!

The serving staff was extremely friendly. The only main reason was that the restaurant owner was in a very bad mood and really indecent. We ordered a menu with hamburger and French fries including salad. I gave my mother the salad, which she was able to scoop out herself from the salad buffet. Unfortunately, not all of the salad dressings were labeled, which meant we didn't have a detailed overview. I had to wait more than 40 minutes for my hamburger with French fries, which is a complete disgrace. Considering that there is so little choice in the menu on the menu. Although, the restaurant looks more promising than it really is. The kitchen was already too overwhelmed with this restrictive order from me. Luckily we were able to reach a compromise with the staff so that we only had to pay for the drinks at the end.
