Very great, modern and yet rustic cozy atmosphere. Service is attentive and very friendly. One star deducted because at 2 p.m. the selection of cakes, patisserie, sandwiches, etc. was already very small.

The staff would actually be friendly...We reserve a table and the corresponding breads in advance. Unfortunately it rarely works. In addition, there are too few staff for so many people. Today we had to wait 30 minutes for coffee and croissants!

We came here spontaneously and had a good time. The cappuccino was delicious and the focacia bread with pulled beef and the kebab were great! Absolute recommendation!

As part of my work stay in Herisau (several months), I went there regularly to eat and save surprise packages (#ToGoodToGo). The staff is really friendly, the atmosphere is very nice and the food is great. Rarely have I had such delicious stuffed focaccia (Toghenburger kebab, pulled beef, pulled pork), and the scrambled eggs that an employee there prepared for me are the best I've eaten to date! The latte macchiato is also great every time, and I think the brunch on the weekend is fantastic. Participation in TooGoodToGo is particularly great; saved packages are rarely as worthwhile as they are here. Recommendation!

Food is sold here that has already been half eaten by flies and wasps. Very disgusting. And the staff doesn't do anything about it.

We've been there for lunch a few times during the week. The selection is good, especially considering that this is a "bakery". The staff was always friendly and the outdoor area invites you to stay for a short time. Priced more in the middle range. The burgers are very juicy, medium-rare and very fresh and deliciously prepared. Recommendation especially at lunchtime!

Great and lovely staff - they know me now and already say “hello” with a broad grin instead of a neutral “Grüezi” - I like! Unfortunately, the selection and the degree of baking of the bread/rolls/... varies a lot... sometimes there is almost no choice for a long time at 10 a.m., then almost everything again. Unfortunately, the price is constantly increasing, although it has always been rather expensive. Just last week, “normal” sandwiches became -.20 more expensive again. although these have already had an increase recently.

The coffee is ok. Nothing special but not something that I would have to say tastes good either. The staff is hopelessly overwhelmed at times. Drinking a coffee in a relaxed manner is not possible. The other day I was there with my mother and we just wanted to have a coffee. When we wanted to order, a man came in and immediately asked for a place for 6 people. He was then given priority and we no longer had room. Not hospitable at all! Then they left again.

Have very fine pains aux chocolat. Unfortunately, the quality of baking varies greatly. Some of the rolls are light and some are really burnt.

Good selection, unfortunately the employees (especially the old ones) are very, very unfriendly. The service outside was very friendly because it is still new, but entire orders were simply forgotten. There are enough motivated people who need a job, get them and throw these witches out.

I love the Kuhn braid. Already knew Kuhn from SG and Arena. What is noticeable negatively in Herisau is that the filled rolls are completely dried out on the side in the evening and some are no longer really cool. I never had this problem in SG and the Arena. The counter may not be as well cooled as in the other branches. I find most of the staff in Herisau to be very friendly.

I bought 2 surprise packages with TooGoodToGo for just under 10 francs, which are said to have an equivalent value of 30 francs. I was neither greeted nor spoken to in the store; the staff only talked among themselves. My package was pushed over the counter without comment - 1 XL braid, 1 olive bread, 1 brownie and 2 cream slices. That definitely doesn't have the equivalent of 30 francs and the unfriendliness does the rest... Yes, it's TooGoodToGo, but that means I'm also a customer and have paid money. No reason to be so unfriendly. Was my first and last visit.

Bad service..25min wait for a frappe..unbelievable. There were 4 or 5 staff at the counter. It was a huge mess. Wrong orders, the other person didn't know which table the drinks were coming to, etc. I've been working in service myself for 12 years, but I haven't seen anything like that in a long time. The location and especially the cafe are beautiful, it's a shame.

Love Kuhn, very nice and friendly bakery/ coffee shop, love the Gemüssefladen there, the staff its always friendly. Drinks are a bit expensive tho. Anyways, always a good experience there. Highly recommend.

Does exactly what you would hope for from Kuhn. If the drinks are too expensive for you, you should get them at Spar on the other side of the street. Service or services always have their price in Switzerland. As in every branch, the pizzas are unbeatably good.
