A hidden gem in Stein Am Rhein! The fish fillet (local catch) was perfectly seared, and the local wine recommended by the waiter paired very well with the fish!

We ate here for our first dinner on a 10-day trip to Switzerland. It was the best meal we had the entire time. The food was delicious, local, and unique. It was all very fresh. The waiter was also the chef. The service was great. He offered us explanations of each dish. We ate outside and enjoyed the view.

From the creative aperitif, starter and main course tailored to the game season, competent wine advice including tasting, to the extravagant dessert...pure culinary ecstasy. 🤤 The whole thing in an elegant environment that does justice to the picturesque old town and with the best service that responds flexibly to your wishes. Tip: experience the cozy ambience in the beautiful courtyard...it's worth it! 🤩

This was our first stop in Switzerland. We spent the day in the town strolling and ended up here for dinner. It’s honestly on par with any 5 star restaurant in any country. Great food, great service. My wife and I had the burrata appetizer and we each ordered a different fish dish, they were superb. All ingredients are locally sourced and even had local wine. Go here if you visit stein am Rhein.
