Kurhaus Bar in Vaz/Obervaz

The pizza!! Oh my goodness I cannot recommend the pizza enough. And the staff are fantastic. If you want to listen to music on the weekends get here early to snag a table, otherwise it gets quite crowded.

Cool restaurant/bar with delicious food

We waited 15 minutes to order food and then found out that we weren't allowed to order anything else.

Whether for just a drink, a meal or an occasion. I/we were always super satisfied. The place to be and eat.

Unfortunately no... At the end of our skiing holiday we wanted to enjoy a cozy evening with a delicious pizza. Despite making a reservation in advance, we were seated at the table next to a three meter high music box. The music was so loud that the wait staff couldn't even take our order correctly. Repeated requests to either turn down the music or change seats were not responded to. No trace of friendliness... After the drinks were brought correctly and the pizzas found their way to our place, we asked again for the music to be turned down. From this point on we were ignored by the waiter and no longer served. They also didn't seem to value feedback on our concerns. So after dinner we went to the bar to settle the bill with the boss. Marco tried to come to me after 5 minutes and then made it clear to me that the well-being of the individual guest was not the aim of the restaurant. It is the concept that is the focus and that is why our concern was not addressed. For the majority of the guests, the music volume was fine and the remaining free tables (which remained free until we left the restaurant) had already been reserved. No trace of understanding or flexibility, instead excuse after excuse... It's a shame that in this restaurant profit is valued more highly than hospitality! The food would actually have been quite ok, a compliment to the Pizzayolo.

Online reservation on the same day worked great. Nice service, great menu, lots of choice. Everything tasted great. Ambiance cozy.

Wonderfully delicious pizza and nice staff:) We had Pizza Tavolata (à discretion) for 35 CHF (for groups). I think the price is really right, but you can easily reorder if you particularly liked something or are still hungry. Dessert is included. Tiramisu and cheesecake were good to very good, but I would rather come for the pizza ;)

Top pizzas in a cool location with great service!

We had dinner. The pizzas are really tasty and definitely worth the price! There are also small pizzas for children at a low price. The service was very friendly and efficient. And last but not least, we like the interior of the bar. Furnished with a lot of style and attention to detail.

Every time it is game season, there is a very good deer entrecôte for lunch here. If that's possible, I'll eat here every day. The pizza is also very good.

A nice and cozy "hotel" with super friendly service, especially Maria and her sister from the breakfast buffet ;-) But they also have the best pizza in Switzerland.... We'll definitely be back :-)

Ordered 8 pizzas as takeaway and they were ready to be picked up to the minute (31 minutes after the order was confirmed). Tastes great and absolutely worth the price.

Actually as expected in the Stoffel Imperium - we already saw the same thing in Vals. Trying hard to appear hip. Foreign staff only have a fragmentary knowledge of the local language and are therefore overwhelmed when it comes to orders and questions (we ended up ordering in English...). Quality food is mediocre for the high price. 22 CHF for an average pizza. Management reacts aggressively to criticism.

We had something to eat in the Kurhaus once. It was very nice and there were blankets for outside as it was quite cold that day. There are also very special desserts here.

Great ambience, top service, good food and great beer selection. Best: The pizza.

A small selection of food in the evening, but a very nice one. Ate very tasty pizzas and drank a cool, very tasty house iced tea. Enjoyed a real Italian espresso to round it off. Unfortunately, as a guest you have to be very patient with the service, which is very inefficient and not exactly accommodating, but at least friendly.

Pretty arrogant people there, they had already been there twice and were neither noticed nor served. Even the employee with his Macbook, who had obviously noticed us, had zero interest. PS: If Johannes isn't friendly enough to greet people, or thinks he has to be greeted by the guests in the restaurant instead of the other way around, he probably has the wrong job and should go back to washing his plates in the Kurhaus.

Great place for vegetarian options and kids friendly. We had a delicious veggie meal and our kids could enjoy while painting. It was really nice and the staff was lovely!

Bad service, poured prosseco on me, did not serve pizza "because it slwas too late " they take orders untill 22.00 -we ordered 10min before. They started discussions about guests arguing and how they cant stand it...i understand the guests

Special ambience, young & stylish with the best service. The pizza comes from the hand-fired wood oven.

The waitress at the Plaza Bar's face falls asleep. Was in 3rd place for 2 beers, waited 30 minutes.

They have vegan pizza with homemade vegan mozzarella. While I don't usually like vegan cheese, this was good and not too sticky! 🙂

Same in most swiss restaurants - poor service without any interest in clients. All that matters is the high price without added value. We left after 10 minutes of waiting. With no surprise - arrogant replay from owner below. No sorry or regret. Just to add that restaurant was almost empty and no body even said Hello.

Service very slow but the staff seems stressed; Selection poor and the pizzaiolo inflexible; Home iced tea is an insult... anyone can brew black tea and then let it get cold...

Everything was great :) great pizza!!!

Was there for the first time I haven't had such a fine pizza in a long time. Dough was great, enough tomato sauce and not too much cheese, the right mixture and still good ham. Simply great in a wood oven. Friendly service I'll go again when I'm nearby.

Nice restaurant, food was good, service worked. The lady at the “reception” from the restaurant, who also took the order, seemed so annoyed that you were almost afraid to ask anything. If I were her boss, I would order her to the basement to sort the empty glass bottles in the terraces, so she wouldn't be annoyed by paying customers there. It's a shame, I would have liked to give more stars...

I took the chickenfingers and expected more. I got fries and 5 "okay" chickenfingers for an expensive price.

Come down place, Musik on the loud side, chair's used and in need of cleaning. The cook on our visit either had a bad day or does not belong in the kitchen. The lasagna was horrible ...

Great room with a small kitchen and a nice balcony. Nice staff, especially in the associated restaurants. Lounge with library, billiard table, free coffee and tea and fridge with beer and soft drinks. We would definitely book again.

Top take away, burgers, pizza, chicken fingers, salads and more, fairly priced, quality and taste top, delivery is possible, order by phone - enjoy at home. It takes about 20 minutes from ordering to delivery. Napkins and bread are included. You can also pay with your card for delivery.

Easy Bar and Pizza Place. I like.

Even though there are only four pizzas on the menu, they are excellent from the wood-fired oven. The selection of starters is also very small, but fresh and good. The wine list is quite ok, the mood and ambience is relaxed, italinato. The service is also very attentive.

What great chief that they have. You can especially the pizza and some facciano (or something like that :) Prices are the same based on the Swiss avarage. (What I mean here, is way expensive than other EU countries :)

There are only pizzas on the menu to eat, but they are great.
