We have already eaten in the restaurant and also ordered take away and we have to say every time this polite and open greeting is always nice! The food was brilliant, every time it was great and I would definitely recommend it! And also very good and beautiful wine cellars for wine lovers. Fabulous food. The staff are really friendly. The food was truly amazing for the price. Portions are very generous. I would highly recommend eating here. Not far from the main train station, so I’d suggest a bit of sight seeing around the area or a nice 16km hike from the train station to the lake nearby and back and then reward yourself with a delicious cooked meal from City Glarus. We ordered the vegetable curry and the other meal was the Gordon bleu. Wow, you will not be hunger afterwards. The cappuccinos were fab too, not too strong and not too weak either. Honestly just perfect. Sorry no photos as we were ravenous and dived right into the food. Please have a look at my photos of our hike which I will upload under Glarus Bahnhof. Hope you enjoy your outing here as much as we did. I know we will be back for a summer hike and then spoil ourselves with another awesome meal at City Glarus.
