Great ambience on a former scheduled ship. Best view of Locarno and hills. Had to eat there twice in a row because it was so delicious the first time and the menu promised even more. Were not disappointed. But you should take your time. If you like it spicy, we recommend the lorno Criola, a Peruvian beef fillet ragout, worth Fr.39. Good wine selection - also open.

Everything here was really to our complete satisfaction! The staff is friendly, the food is really generous and tasty (try the Gnocchi Maggia❤!) and the drinks are just as you want them. The menu is sure to make many a "fisherman's heart" rejoice - but even those who don't really want something out of the water will definitely find what they're looking for on the menu. Bad, bad and bad. Sitting at the table at around 8.15pm we ordered a Ticino dish and a focaccia with garlic oil as a starter, followed by a mixed grill, a cordon blue and a pizza. At 9.45pm not even the starter had arrived, after we asked several times, at 10.10pm the "Ticino dish" arrived which had nothing of mixed cold cuts (5 slices of salami, 5 slices of spicy salami, 3 of cooked ham and 3 of smoked ham all cut very large), while the focaccia had forgotten the garlic. In the meantime (around 9.30pm) I had ordered another hugo, they told me that the ice was finished and I told them to do it without ice (I still had some in my glass), but unfortunately the requested drink never arrived. At which point, seeing the very poor Ticino dish, we canceled the following courses and paid.

I read some bad reviews in this restaurant but sad to say, they are just unlucky guests since La Barca is one of the place in Locarno that made our holiday amazing! Place, lake and mountain view, location, food and staff was absolutely great♥️One of the best restaurant I can recommend! Plus, La Barca is a unique place! Danke viel mal!

Last saturday 24th of Nov I ve been to Locarno for the weekend with my fiancee and we decided to visit La Barca for a late lunch.I must say amazing experience..a guy welcome us in a such professional and warm way. Great hospitality and the food was exellent. We start with Aperol Spritz and the waiter suggested a plate with ham and cheese to start with, omg was so nice to eat in front of the lake. As the main course we had two Frittura del Golfo and one Grilled Tuna with pistacho..superb. Exellent Service calm and relax atmosphere.If you are looking for a great time in a cool place for a Romantic lunch or Dinner...this is the place. Good Job Angel such a prof and lovely person he took care of us. Thank you so much.We will come back soon.

tolles Setting auf dem Schiff direkt am Ufer. Aufmerksame, motivierte Kellner. Die Speisen ganz frisch zubereitet. Ein Schmaus für Gaumen und Auge. Preis-Leistung abolut in Ordnung. Mehr wie nur ein Besuch wert !

Am Samstagabend hatten wir Kalbsschnitzel in Balsamico-Sauce und gegrillte Riesengarnelen. Beide Gerichte waren frisch und ausgezeichnet, gefolgt von Panna Cotta, Schokoladenpudding. Wein und Wasser zu vernünftigen Preisen rundeten das Essen für 100 chf ab. Die Angestellten sind auch super, sehr zu empfehlen.

Recht schönes Ambiente auf dem Steg oder Schiff. Je nach Verfügbarkeit der Tische. Servicepersonal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Keine Deutsche Sprache. Primi Piati Spaghetti waren lecker. Jedoch der Rest, Thunfisch gebraten, war schlecht. Salat ist nur ein Schnittsalat ohne Sauce. Essig/ Öl auf dem Tisch, wovon der Essig sauer und nicht gut ist. Pizzas sind so lala. Presileistung für den Thunfisch stimmt hier gar nicht. Essen allgemein ist mittelmässig.

Tolle mediterrane Küche bei schönem Ambiente. Das Service Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist fair. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Schöne Lage direkt am Hafen. Service war zwar freundlich, aber langsam. Essen mässig bis schlecht (auf KEINEN Fall die Pizza bestellen!) und zu Ende des Abends laute BravoHits-Musik über das ganze Deck. Die Gegebenheiten wären toll, aber da muss sich viel verbessern, dass wir nochmals kommen.

Direkt am See in einen Yachthafen, schöne Terasse, auf dem Schiff im 2 Stock sehr schön eingereichtet. Gute Karte mit vielem, haben schon drei mal gegessen, war immer Top, Service auch. Kommen wieder....

Kellner konnen sehr gute Weine aus der Region empfehlen, die Speisen sind ganz fein und die Location ist wunderbar Wir werden sicher wieder kommen :)

Ci siamo ritrovati per caso in questa barca adibita a ristorante , che dire ne siamo rimasti felicissimi.Servizio curato, location da paura , con vista mozzafiato, pulito e cucina da stelle Michelin ..Abbiamo mangiato degli spaghetti allo scoglio con gambero rosso di mazzara, qualità eccellente .Prodotti freschi e ben lavorati, materie prime eccellenti e se poi a cucinarle è un grande chef sei a cavallo .La carta propone varie cose , c’è n’è per tutti i gusti , dalla pinse , alla carne al pesce e a degli ottimi hamburger fatti interamente da loro , e dei dolci presentati in maniera ineccepibile, come ilCannolo siciliano scomposto che è stata una vera goduria . Rapporto qualità prezzo direi ottimo , per quello che gira li vicino . Lo straconsiglio e ci ritorneremo sicuramente .

Sono stato in questo ristorante tempo fa e devo dire che sono rimasto senza parole, in primis la location è molto particolare perché il ristorante è stato formato in un battello sul lago, quindi vi lascio immaginare il panorama, servizio e cucina ottimi, piatti curati e vasta scelta tra cucina locale e non... devo dire che è stato fatto veramente un ottimo lavoro! Ci tornerò di sicuro anche per bere un aperitivo in un’atmosfera unica :)
