A friend introduced us to La Belotti this afternoon, and what a pleasant discovery! The atmosphere is magnificent, the view of the lake so soothing. The waiter is attentive but discreet, he brought us water and bread even before we needed to ask for more because what we had on the table was running out. We even had a coloring page for our daughter without even asking, which allowed her to wait, and us to have a pleasant meal. The perch fillets come from Leman only. We are very motivated to return there.

La Belotte 5.00/5 Swiss restaurant with a great view of Lake Geneva, a large terrace and a very Zen atmosphere. My mother and aunts have returned after many years and were surprised by how well maintained the old house and its surroundings are. We ordered a medley of dishes and they were all exquisite.

The fish I ordered was the best! Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Last night, we chose this magnificent restaurant to celebrate my darling's birthday. This idyllic location offers a breathtaking view of the lake. The service was remarkably fast, and the servers were extremely pleasant and attentive. We would particularly like to thank the staff for the thoughtfulness of putting a candle on top of the dessert, which really marked the occasion. As for the dishes, we ordered the Galician octopus, the shrimp wok and the beef rump steak. Not only were the dishes plentiful, but they were also delicious. We will definitely come back to discover more culinary delights.

The cuisine is very tasty, a small downside for the rump steak heart medallions, ordered 1, medium and 1 rare. Received 1 well done and 1 medium. The shrimp wok was very good and plentiful.

The perches are good but it's nothing extraordinary. The service is OK, except for the very cold and unsmiling welcome from the long-haired waiter who is absolutely unwelcome. It's not very pleasant to see someone who really doesn't seem to like their job taking care of the service. There was no paper or soap in the toilets. The setting is certainly very beautiful but we weren't really able to enjoy it because we were in a corner. So in the end it wasn't a memorable experience.

Very beautiful setting! Waitress a bit fast, we were barely seated when she asked us what we wanted for an aperitif (without having taken the time to read the menu). We had the Rib's which were great (tender and well seasoned) and the sea bream tartare which was not crazy (lack of seasoning, pep's). Dessert not crazy either. It's worth going there for the setting and to eat properly but don't expect anything crazy. We will definitely come back!

Full moon. This is the only explanation I can find for unacceptable server behavior (Julien?). Our evening with friends was ruined in the end. We were talking during dessert, when he came to clear the table. Without asking anything he took the dish, and one of us kindly told him that we haven't finished yet, and he can leave the pot. I emphasize: kindly and politely she said that, with “please”. Monsieur made a face as if he had seen a viper, put the dish down very demonstratively, and as he left he turned his head towards us and I read on his lips the word that I do not want to repeat. We explained the situation to another person who did the service, and asked him to call the manager, who was obviously not there. Besides, the waitresses were very nice. She was one of those girls who ended up apologizing from the establishment before we left. Monsieur no longer showed his nose at our table, no need to wait for an apology from him. No need to convince us to come back to you either, and for a while.

Service was very friendly. The dish (tuna tataki) was good but not plentiful and lacked a bit of Wow! factor, i.e. a real taste surprise. The refined atmosphere is as expected. A sure value.

Very disappointed with the food from A to Z, the ribs were dry and stringy, the fries from the whole table (6 people) were dry and lukewarm as well, the dishes are not up to what they claim to be on the menu given the prices and attractive descriptions. the burger was good, but the meat was cooked poorly with dry fries… The fish tartares were described as ok but nothing more by the other guests. The desserts continue with the rest. Chemical strawberry ice cream like those for children, dry and tasteless brownies, at 18 francs for dessert… apart from the setting, uninteresting. We come to eat there above all... and when the food is like that, the experience is really not satisfactory.

We came thinking of eating with a view of the lake. Unfortunately, the tables are placed against the wall between the windows, which is a shame for an establishment which enjoys a very pretty setting. Concerning the dishes, nothing exceptional, the squid as a starter seemed to be one of the only dishes on the menu, a little more elaborate…

Is it good ? I don't know. While I understand that some restaurants want to avoid "ghost reservations", people who don't come, that's a bit strong all the same. Go to the website and read that the table is kept for 15 minutes (so no delay), and that if you don't come we will charge you CHF 180.-.... sorry we went elsewhere.

First and last time in this restaurant! Starter served on chipped plates and blanket to put on the shoulders (because there was a breeze that day) dirty! This is reported to the waiter who does what is necessary but when we report it to the owner on leaving, she does not have a word of apology, has an answer for everything… She told us “We serve on chipped plates in many restaurants, we are not going to change our plates every time they are chipped, we must not have paid attention to the cover which has not been washed…” I I have to say that we should not go to the same restaurants because I have never been served on a chipped plate in a restaurant (even one of lesser “class” than this) and I don't think anyone likes having a cover full of stains on his clothes. In addition, the dish of the day was very average, mussels and fries served without salad or vegetables. In short, a non-commercial spirit. An apology, a smile and an offer to come back for a free coffee would have been the least we could do but remained non-existent.

What a wonderful place, the waiters took great care despite the fact that the terrace was full and they were understaffed. Despite all the smile and dynamism was present….

Poorly organized staff on the terrace, forgetting orders and one of the unpleasant waiters. Not worth the price at all.
