Arriving early at 6:43 p.m., with a friend, it was pleasant to discover this place which has parking. Once through the door, the interior is surprising with its wooden slatted interior. ♡ The room is huge. ♡ The service is impeccable. ♡ The 🍤 at the 🍅 excellent 👍🏻 ♡ The fries are large and cooked wonderfully well All to get up at night 😊 To my surprise from 7:30 p.m., the restaurant was filled with people. It seems that the beef fondue is to die for... try it next time...

Came to eat on Saturday 02/24/24 in the evening and frankly nothing to complain about. The quality of the dishes was top notch, the staff was very polite and the servers we had were really top notch. I recommend and will happily come back. Living in Matran, the location is just perfect!

Nice and modern place, with a service team that is a bit outdated. Some slightly unusual choices which were communicated to the team at the end of the meal. Chinese fondue deserves its reputation: simply superb. but with a big asterisk: Strangely, the quality of the second portion of meat in the fondue Chinoise was significantly lower than that of the first. We were also informed that the team had 'lost' their water jugs, despite purchasing two aperitifs and glasses of wine. Damage. This restaurant can do better...

A place famous for its Chinese fondue galore. Quality service, friendly staff, accessibility by car is perfect: at the entrance to the village with ample parking. Too bad the quantity of fries and meat leaves something to be desired, there were 10 of us and each time we received very small portions. Overall the evening was excellent and I highly recommend the place. Be careful for people sensitive to noise, this place can be very lively at times!! Dynamism guaranteed!

Out of the club with my colleagues, the majority having ordered the house specialty; i.e. Chinese fondue. For my part, I love perch fillets. I decide to try it in this restaurant. If you like perch fillets, this is not the ideal place to enjoy them, they were dry and the accompaniment chosen was almost raw. I had to send the accompaniment back to the kitchen for cooking, which was done. Restaurant too noisy, you had to raise your voice to communicate with your interlocutor. Not having the habit of frequenting this type of crowded establishment. But hey, it’s also the end of the year… They were certainly out of dinner like us. The staff is pleasant and respectful, so with that, it was a good present. This is my own experience.

When we booked by phone, we were asked what we wanted to eat, fondue Chinoise?! We don't know, there are two of us! We ask to go to the terrace, she absolutely does not want to put us on the terrace and then accepts. When we arrived we were placed in the middle of the restaurant. We hesitated to leave and said nothing. During service the waitress was non-smiling, nonchalant, served and cleared without saying a word and put down dishes and drinks with a bang. The tiramissu didn't come out of the fridge, it was hot served with a topping of caramel sauce, inedible! The coffees tasted like durgol, undrinkable! We made a comment to her but no reaction from her, she didn't even offer two other coffees. Worst case, we paid the entire bill. It was a place we enjoyed and went to regularly. We were supposed to have a pleasant evening but given the staff's desire to work, to be there for the customers, they will not see us again.

We used to go there at noon before. We went back twice in a short time and we were clearly not disappointed. Very well eaten, the times respected (- 1 hour) for workers it was great. And we’re definitely going to go back there more often!

Unfortunately, the quality of the meat for Chinese has dropped, very long wait to order coffees and pay, even though there are no longer crowds in the room, the same for a drink on the terrace, we will not return there more

Incredible, the waitress with the glasses comes in, sees us, not a hello, she looks several times still nothing, after 10 minutes she passes, finally a quick hello! But, she still doesn't ask us what we want to drink, but on the other hand, she clears the table next door!!!! After 15 minutes a waiter came to us (he was very friendly)! The lady of glasses should change career without further ado! A shame !

New owner for a while now but the restaurant has been renovated and it is magnificent. Chinese fondue and homemade pizza are both very delicious. The service always top and fast.

I usually come here as I live in Neyruz. I also used to have drinks. But today I wanted to take a jug of water and what do I hear. 5 francs for tap water!!! Frankly, I find it scandalous and on principle I won't come back until they change that. Especially since the food is not exceptional either.

There were 4 of us friends who decided to have dinner at the cottage since we had a good experience in the past with a work dinner but this is the last time we will set foot in this establishment. Very unpleasant waitress, took the salad away from us without asking us if we were finished, one of us was still eating fork in hand. Woman not smiling and very expeditious. She told me that she was not sure that we could have desserts because the kitchen closed at 11 p.m. (it was 10:05 p.m.), turned off the lights in the back and put the chairs on the tables, gave us the bill without we asked for it at 10:15 p.m. when we would have liked to have coffee. Everything to scare us away and the tables next door had the same experience. To top it off after ordering soft drinks, we asked for a carafe of water, we were charged 5fr for this for tap water. When I point this out to the bartender and especially since we were never informed of the price, he tells me that he will remove the 5fr from the bill. When it was time to pay, the waitress, always so pleasant, told me that there was no question of not paying for the carafe of water, she claimed to have informed us of the price even though there were 4 of us who had heard nothing and she told me said "we're not going to talk for 3 hours for 5fr". His behavior was just unbearable, dishonest, haughty and infuriating. You have to change jobs if you don't like ours. We came to have a good time with friends and we were shocked by the welcome and the deplorable service.

Stew as meat for Chinese fondue!!! Inedible, full of nerves, chewing gum. We asked the balding waiter, he left before we finished our sentence. He came back, took the meat dish and came back with it. In our opinion the pieces had just been sorted, it was the same quality of meat. We made the remark to him again, and he replied that he didn't understand because we are the only table there to claim that everything is fine with the others. Haughty and rude waiter. My friends and I will never return to this establishment again.

Very good service, perfect for Chinese

The pizzas are always so good! But this time it was the young people who took them, because for my part, once is not customary, I chose the Chinese one, and I did well because, with very good cubed meat, it was excellent!

Honestly very disappointed. We have been loyal customers for many years. But this is too much! We deliberately did not have a salad or an aperitif to reserve ourselves for the meat galore because the salad is enormous in order to settle us down before tackling the meat. As a result we had the impression of annoying the waiters all evening by asking for more meat a few times. When you want to create a concept of dishes galore, you have to accept it (and with a smile and without comments like "there's more" or "it'll be okay this time eh") because what was supposed to be a great evening as lovers we came out of there angry and disappointed. It was the restaurant we recommended to everyone, but we will look elsewhere.

We went to eat last night (04.03.23) 4 adults and 3 children for Chinese. Everything was impeccable, really very friendly service, very good food etc... The play area is great for children, and what's more, really cool service with the children, even though it was packed with people. We really enjoyed it, we're looking forward to coming and testing this summer! If possible with Moscato and raspberry liqueur 🤭😜

Close to the highway, large private parking, Chinese galore with 4 sauces, two starters and dessert. The room is very large, and there are enough staff to ensure fast and precise service. The prices are completely affordable.

Perfect food like every time On the other hand, we had a waitress who was a bit stressed. No time to finish the glasses or the salad as the rest was already there. That’s not what’s going to stop me from going back there.

The Chaumière restaurant is well located, in the center of the town, with plenty of parking spaces, including for people with mobility issues, throughout the site. No worries for people with reduced mobility in the restaurant, for children there are play areas outside. Large choice of salads, meats, vegetables, desserts, wine list. Friendly and fast staff.
